This helped a lot. Thanks. Doing my first long run.... and Success! Woot! :)
The entire purpose of me looking for this kind of video is to set up my cameo for it which you skipped entirely and jumped to where it is already set up
Firstly, I didn't know about the Glyphs! Love that. Secondly, OMG I totally wasted 3 feet of vinyl last night trying to print off a small banner verse for my bedroom....my vinyl was sliding all over the place!!!! I didn't know about a roll feeder. I am pretty new at this..only printed on t-shirts mostly. I just found one (feeder) on Amazon! Birthday gift to myself! LOL Video clear and easy to understand. Hi from East Coast/Nova Scotia Canada! XO . New subbie.
This video was so helpful! Thanks for posting!
Yes the roll feeder is a huge help! I haven't upgraded to the latest update on the Sil yet but watching you here I may want too! I'm a lil scared though.
When trying to use the Glyphs I don't have that option in the text style box showing them. Do you know how I can get this?
Why won't it let me create a custom size to print longer?
Thank you
Where can I find the Samanatha fonts?
Thank you so much! I just received my Cameo 3 days ago and have been lost as to how to do this. That was a perfect explanation! Thanks again!
It’s a default setting You have to go in the setting and switch the outline to color to a solid/filled colt if you don’t like the red outline
Thanks ,thanks
I'm new to this and missing one piece! How do you get the red rectangle that is already on your screen (at start of video) in that perspective? For example. You are placing things in it that will cut 12" wide, yet the rectangle on the screen is only a couple inches wide?? Does that make sense?
I have updated my software, I bought the designer edition years ago, however my program looks like the older version, is this because I have an older machine? I'm trying to learn how to use the Samantha font, but don't have the text style option.
I have tried a number of times to cut things that don't fit on the cutting area. Every time my design has elements that go off the cutting area (like your second line of text), the Silhouette's cuts are totally off the wall - nothing like the original design. Sometimes it cuts a mirror of the design on top of the original, and sometimes it abandons the program mid-cutting and cuts geometric shapes. Is this a known problem, and if so, is there a known fix? Is there someone in tech support who might know how to fix this? I'd appreciate any help you can provide. Great video, btw, very helpful!
What machine are you using? And where do you get your fonts?
My registration keeps failing and design won’t cut... how do it fix settings. I’m using a 12x24 cut mat
How do you change the print border sizes ?!
Im new to creating with Silhouette! Whats Samantha? Where do I get it?
@TiffanyAguilar
There is a website that's called Dafont where you can get the majority of fonts for free!
You can go check it out
Like 👍 if you want to see the final results!
Really didn’t show nothing! Should of at least showed the roll feeder witch you should just mention it instead of all the talking.
