I do external washing of tanks, silos, containers etc.
For this one I would spray water, then use concentrated acid with a brush or a spray pump. Cover everything except windows.
Then I'd go back and BRUSH everywhere. This is a key step you are missing. Use a normal long brush for most places, and a smaller toilet brush type for difficult spots. Rinse well with water.
I then apply lye to any spots that need degreased. Rinse.
I use acid on tyre rims, rinse each one at a time to avoid streaks.

Half ass job, I worked a few pressure jobs at proctor & gamble on leaf filters. Ours ran at about 3600 psi, hella fun.
It doesn't matter if you can wash all year round if you dont get the trucks clean. Not trying to talk you down but 2 step dont work soap and brush will alwase work better and keep the customer happy
The truck is still a bit dirty, however Iv'e done jobs where the surface area still looks dirty. Better than when I first started. I feel you two did an okay job. thumbs up!
and for the guys that say not good for paint the paint and clear coat they use for semi trucks is not the same as automotive paint you need the acid for the oxyidation and road grime tar ect so it is ok to use on trucks do some research

hey,your burner should not be blowing smoke like that. should just be a tiny bit of after white after smoke. i would recommend checking the air, a new fuel nozzle coil might be sooted up as well. i work on them for a living.
Christopher Williams I have one like it and it quits on me after a couple minutes. It gets hot and after 5 to 8 minutes it cools off and it don't get hot after that. Any ideas on what it could be?
I would rinse bottom to top to avoid diluting the chemical and cause streaking.

I liked the way you have the van wrapped, it really stands out ! In terms of your chemicals, you might want to make your low ph (step 1) a little stronger and then when you go to step 2 high ph, allow it to emulsify by letting it sit a couple of seconds longer. But over all Great Job !!!!

Your burner sims to be malfunctioning due to excess of soot build up I recommend to clean the coil and re adjust your pressure on the fuel injector... Just advice
why dont you use a separator line so you can wash, lightly spray only the acid and wash again than rinse
How do you reclaim and reuse your washwater
not a big fan of brushless cleaning. IMHO it's the agitation of the grease that helps fully remove it. It's important to take into account the neglect factor, when washing, some staing will not come out due to oxidation and it looks like dirt. The truck may be cleaner, but not spotless unless some buffing is done. It's important to tell a customer that up front.
WOW!!!!!!! Terrible job man. Your chemicals leave a lot to be desired, and the end result was just terrible, the truck was still dirty.

Are there any laws in america about letting the truck wash and acid run into drains? i'm starting a truck wash buisness in western australia and can only use bio-degradable truck wash without a proper wash bay...so i can't use the really good stuff

Are you serious? I hope this was a joke. That was an incredibly slow wash. Never mind that though. That really doesn't matter. What does matter is the fact that that truck was still dirty. WHY?

Not going to lie that was the worst display of washing I've seen! You got to get the tops of rims, inside of fenders, and not do any zig zags may look clean when wet but when it dries it will have film everywhere!! Couple tips get a bent wand at the end and lift the hood to get the top of hood and top of fender!

This is an old video, by now I’m sure you’ve figured out your pressure was to high. You get more water on the truck with less pressure. We two step in Cali and I’m sure we’re are using the same product. Great job with that kind of pressure control.

That has to suck washing trucks outside in the cold. Also you don't always have to use acid to get your stuff clean just hand wash it real good. Acid ruins your clear coat and eats up aluminum

who in their right mind thinks you can wash a vehicle WITHOUT brushing. If i payed you to wash my lorry and i got it back still patchy like that, you would not be getting payed. for gods sake id have to go and wash it properly after i kick you out of my yard
