Come on Curtis !!! ... you think Arsenal wouldn't have won the title last year in any of the top 5 leagues in Europe apart from EPL with their points accumulation ? The fact of the matter is, Arsenal resides in a league with a team with unlimited resources who has managed to cook the books to make it look like they are the most profitable club in the world. For all of Klopp's genius and Liverpool punching above their weight, they've won only 1 title. There are 10 games left and Inter has already won Serie A. Real Madrid has no challenger unless Girona maintains a pace unheard off in their history to even mount a challenge.
Man City with their sports-washing Arab money has become a big fish in a small pond and everything has to be judged relative to them. City can afford to lose De Bruyne for 2 or 3 months and still maintain their title challenge because they have made sure to have 2 expensive players at each position. Apart from Real Madrid who are backed by state bank, how many teams can afford to operate this way ? If you can't judge Arteta from when he took over to now and compare the product on the pitch, then you don't know football as much as you proclaim to. Arsenal were diabolically getting pumped by 4, 5 goals every time they played City or Liverpool. Not only has he closed the talent gap, he's already instilled competitiveness and spirit not seen since Wenger was in his heyday. Arsenal lost 2 games during the festive period and everybody was writing this team off already, but somehow they are on top of the league in the middle of March. Arsenal might not win the league while City continues to cheat their way to greatness, but that shouldn't diminish what Arteta has achieved. There are a lot of great managers and players who never won a trophy and anybody who cannot distinguish that is just a bandwagon fan. Give the man the praise he deserves for bringing Arsenal back to relevance.

City won more titles without a striker than with one and actually played better ball in my opinion. Liverpoil won the prem and champions league without a "striker" firmino was a false 9. Signing a striker could actually disrupt the way our attackers flow. We are not city. We do not need to copy them. Also there aren't many top level strikers on the market right now in my opinion.
