Thank you for the tutorial Coleton. For making installation easier and cleaner, use a scrap of MF towel instead of the block. Instead of pouring the coating out of the bottle, actually put the towel on the bottle, flip it over, and back upright, the bottle will stay clean, and so will you.
I restored all the trim on my Sister's Cadillac SRX using Turtle Wax 53733 Hybrid Solutions Graphene Acrylic Tire Shine Spray Coating. Looks great, was easy to apply, it's only been a couple of weeks, but I hope it last a long time.
Great video. I have this exact same truck and color. I was looking for the after video for the tonneau cover and surrounding area but never got a good look. I assume it was looking great, just was waiting for a good look at it from above. :)
This is a very useful video. We have a 2019 Honda Fit. It's ceramic coated and the paint is immaculate(well, by our standards.) But there is a large plastic trim piece at the trailing edge of the hood that has taken a beating(I'm guessing from car wash chemicals.) I've been trying to figure out a way to restore it and you might have put me on the right track here.
Any idea how long this will last? I have used 303 protectant for years. Looks good when it is done but seems to only last weeks. Love to find something that lasts at least months.

Also wouldn't it be MUCH more effective and faster to just use something like a grout sponge or an old wool mitt instead of a tiny lug nut brush to agitate that APC? If I was doing that on a job I know I am getting fired that day. " Yes boss it took 3hrs to agitate the rocker panels".
Why would someone spend this amount of time "protecting" the lower portion of the vehicle which was SPECIFICALLY left unpainted and placed to take abuse from road debris. Makes no sense.
Those plastic trim pieces are easily removable and replaceable if they ever need to be. Much cheaper and faster than constantly coating them and wasting money on bullshit ceramic products to basically protect bare textured plastic.
Rear bumper trim is $500 and the front is around $400. Sides are $299 each. These coatings literally cost less than $80 and last you almost a year. You don't have to coat the trim every time you detail your car

Finish Restorer is by far your best option for black plastics. One coat lasts several years
I used cerakote on the lower part lf my Xc40 recharge. It needed it after a year of hertz duty and me putting wax on it accidentally in a few places
Also great for Subaru Outbacks. Perhaps more so.
If you were applying this product outdoors, would sunlight cause any problems that I should definitely avoid, or is it ok with indirect sunlight?
Is the small applicator pad you used the Autofiber Tire Saver Dressing Applicator?
