Thank you for sharing your beautiful family with us on your special day.The cheer you have given me is a blessing .I lost my parents a few years ago .And my only sister a couple of years later.We always had big Christmases togethet.But this year my son and his family went out of state.So my husband and one son stayed home to enjoy our Christmas small but nice.But I admit I missed the noise and excitement of the day. We call the cocktail sausages wrapped in bacon pigs in blankets. We serve them as part of our christmas dinner, my daughter insists on it. Isn't it lovely having a family christmas. Thank you soooo much for sharing your christmas eve with us. I do so miss it. Loved it when my kids were young and my mother was alive, she always stayed over.xx

I have to say I like being the loner that I am, but your family is so wonderful together, it makes me happy to watch. What wonderful traditions and memories you’ve made for all your kids. I know it’s only August at the moment but this video popped up today. I started watching it and I’m so excited for Christmas now. That was great; a lovely family! I hope you don't mind my being nerdy, but I have a couple of suggestions about baking and muffins. First, use dry measuring cups for the dry ingredients and wet measuring cups for liquids. There is a difference. Then, always aerate your flour before measuring. Not sift, just stir up a bit with a spoon or whisk. Then gently put the flour in the cup, don't tap or pack down. Level off with a knife or spatula. Have all ingredients at room temp. Milk, eggs, anything cold. Make sure your baking powder isn't old. Don't overmix the muffin batter. These and more suggestions and tips can also be found at Jenny Can Cook, with great recipes and videos. Happy cooking and baking!

Absolutely love!!! Our family plays dirty santa or white elephant on Christmas Eve, but we do not do gag gifts. Some in our family that is the only gift they get, so we make sure it is a good gift
