That's true Mox and Rollins don't even need a Belt hanging on their shoulder to lead the wrestling industry, same as jericho, same as danielson, and yeah same as roman. Eventho roman still hasn't dropped the Belt, when he does, he will still lead the company, that's how great they are!
I think it was smart those people were gunna cheer him no matter what he did, due to his absence. So bringing the heel promo out gradually was the best thing he could do.
With all the craziness going on in AEW right now, I feel like Moxley promo really brought things back down and pulled together that love and passion of AEW. That’s why I fell in love with AEW.
Mox is legitimately the Ace of AEW. He's the most reliable star by far seemingly and he consistently puts guys over in massive ways with banger matches win, lose, or draw. Not the biggest fan of him necessarily, but he deserves to be the face of the company right now. Taking the title off him to give to an injury-prone, tired CM Punk was a terrible move anyway.
Finally someone says it, that fossil os not gonna hold it down and put up badass matches like moxley, giving him the belt twice was the two worst mistakes
No. It’s like people watch him do those fake elbows and that weird shoulder thing and talk about drinking blood and then watch him cut himself in front of a camera and they say “omg he’s sooo goood!” Wtf is up with fans now?
Man it's easy to see them going with someone else as the new Champion to kick start a new ish era but Jon Moxley is so goddamn deserving, this man continuously putting AEW on his back.
Cm chump's aew legacy will be remembered by many for winning the title twice and getting instantly injured afterwards twice within the space of 4 months...
Whoever it is will probably drop it to MJF which is honestly why I thought they would have put it on Hangman until then to finally finish their feud. But yeah I see Mox winning this cause having anyone else win only to drop the title the following month at Full Gear doesn't really make sense.

The fact that their was a brawl backstage and it’s all over the press and these two men come out and completely blow this segment out of the water shows they are two of the best in the business!
Really for what? All those shitty matches where he goes to the outside of the ring after 10 seconds. Wrestlers actually wrestle in the ring and don’t do all the smoke and mirrors bs to hide the fact they can’t wrestle. Moxley fans blow my mind. He is literally the worst wrestler this generation. He is so bad.
He’s a brawler not a technical wrestler. And he has risen to the occasion everytime people have looked for the guy. He is the guy. Reliable as all hell and he builds people up.
This is will go down as the most underrated promos of all time. This is my favourite promo ever. Mox breathed life back into this company when it was sinking. It was not just for the fans it was for the people backstage. Hell I am not employed by AEW and I'm hella motivated listening to it. It's just phenomenal!
I am crying seeing the comments section cheering for Moxley. Now Moxley has got the respect he deserved cause he carried the world of wrestling on his back during the pandemic and made aew and the aew championship great. This man deserves way more than this. He should be the face.
Moxley's promo was pure passion. I really hope those words were heard by Punk and he actually takes it to heart. Not as a scripted champ, but like as a man and worker in the business.
You forgot to mention that those words were directed at the Bucks and Kenny and everyone else in the back as much as they were directed towards Punk. Even assuming it was all an elaborate work, it has made the company and their wrestlers look very bad, so they desperately need to reign that stuff in. If you want to blur the line between fiction and reality, do it like MJF did in the segment before: out in the open and for everyone to see. But (if a work) to let it happen backstage and then let it be reported by a smear journalist like Meltzer is completely insane and does more damage than it does good (also it ironically confirms everything Punk said at the media scrum^^). - P.S. Also if you claim to be all about Pro wrestling vs. Sports entertainment, doing soap opera stuff that is even worse than what VKM could come up with might not be the best of all possible ideas.
@@Eluarelon True as well, that it was also aimed at The Elite. And I don't assume any of this is a work. I am very much of the opinion that this is all very real. I was referring to how Mox said how a champion should act and that CM Punk should not think because they write him in to win the belt that he can do what he wants. He needs to hear what Mox is saying and be a little more professional than to go on absolute tirades. The Elite shouldn't have stormed his room in such an aggressive manner, if the reports are to believe, but to expect them not to confront him after he called them out in front of a room of journalists is foolish.
@@XxXK1770rD13XxX Yep, you're right about Punk, and of course he deserved to be confronted about that. The thing is, that if the reports about how it happens are true, the EVPs of AEW did it in the most unprofessional way possible and if it was a work, it still "makes" the EVPs of AEW look as being very unprofessional about it. Mox is legitimately the Ace of AEW. He's the most reliable star by far seemingly and he consistently puts guys over in massive ways with banger matches win, lose, or draw.
