Facts! This was the most clear tutorial I could find as well. Funny, I also just made 200 capsules. Not even gonna lie, it was pretty fun. Especially compared to sitting there capping them by hand which was a daily dreadful task before.

Yes I’m gonna order this but question how would I get 0.333 g in each capsule ? Would that even be possible , I make an Oz of 🪄🍄 into a powder and also mix my lions mane in to the mix, and usually do it by hand & it just takes a long time. I don’t think it’s possible to be accurate and for me that’s essential when micro dosing. If you have an idea let me know . Thanks
This device paid for itself by the 2nd batch. Has saved me hundreds of dollars in the past 3 years by buying supplements in bulk ( from medicinal mushrooms to cinnamon, beet root powder and turmeric). Plus I am sure of what's in the capsules ... and can add black pepper to the turmeric. This capsule maker was SO worth it!

Thanks for taking the time to do this video. I want to make my own supplements. I ordered this exact same machine off Amazon. No illustrations, no diagrams, no identification of the parts eg. The names or what they do, or in which order. There were however written instructions. But, since I don't read Chinese. It was an issue. Needless to say I was irritated. Thank Goodness for RUclips channel and yourself. Your's was definitely the best articulated "How To" video hands down. I like that you identified the parts, explained what they do, how to use it, and even about the capsules. As well as going at a learner's pace and explaining everything thoroughly. if you order your capsules from capsulecn in china, you should count them bnecause they can't. 5,000 = 4700 to them.
Since this capsule
making device parts are made on the plastic molding press, it good idea to wash in warm dishwashing soapy water, rinse and dry before first use.

Ordered the machine followed your very easy tutorial. Bam we are in business, she is taking her meds as prescriped, no waste. You made the instructions so easy to follow, very grateful!!!
Use gloves when handling the capsules, the moisture from your hands not only contaminates the capsules, it can make them sticky which makes the process more difficult.
Work on a large sheet of clean paper this reduces spillage/wastage.
Use larger bowls when removing excess filling and when removing the capsules from the filler, it is easier, this also reduces spillage.
Make sure your capsules, the material and the filler are completely dry before starting, or you may have problems with both the filling and storage of the completed capsule. :-)

EXCELLENT tutorial!!! FABULOUS camera work!!! I am 100% sold!!! THANK YOU so much!!! After doing this multiple times, I have found that the spill guard only makes a mess...I omit the spill guard. And I just fill the holes by hand...a bit faster and easier than the "shake a game" method. Thanks!

Tamping the powder down several times (3-4) with a little force helps pack in more material. Leaving the separator plate on the base until all the caps are snapped into place helps. That allows for a solid base to push down on and for easy visual inspection for lifted caps.

I've been using a "Capsule Machine" for years, which only fills 24 caps at a time & the capsules all have to be inserted manually. Buying one of these will save me a whole lot of time & effort.
The only downside I see is a larger amount of counter space needed to set up & use it.

Awesome video! Thank you! I bought one (under a different brand name, same rig though) and yeah, the enclosed instructions are worthless. This makes it crystal clear; one view and I was ready to rock. I love this kit; I actually enjoyed using it.
When caps or bodies go in the holes upside-down I use a drinking straw to pull them up out of the hole. Just place on cap/body, suck gently through the straw and the vacuum picks it up .... But make sure the diameter of the cap/body is not smaller that the diameter of the straw you're using.
i like to use a shop vac to get them out- of course i gotta repeat the whole process over again, but boy howdy do they come out easy when upside down-

@@g-lo6420 Try mixing it in yogurt. Still takes awful, but it goes down fast.
I've never tried it with orange juice or yogurt or any other juice. I just mix mine with a little warm water. I saw a video once, and the guy said that warm water activates it, makes it work faster or something like that, I'm not sure if there is any truth to it or not but I've always done it like that. Talk about nasty, I mean nasty, but it's a lot cheaper than buying it in capsule form, you get a lot more for your money. But I'm going to have to get one of these capsule makers. It would be allot easier when I'm on the go or someone else's house. It really is ridiculous that I haven't bought one of these capsule makers already.
Okay sooooo, I want to take 500 mg of berberine and 140 mg of milk thistle as they go together super well to help with blood sugar. They have to be pretty exact so how would I do that ? Everyone I see just pours the powder on the top and never measure . Is this impossible to use this machine if I need to have exact measurements?
It is much more time and effort if you need high-precision measurements. Are you okay with "close enough"? For example, Your base mixture could be something like 50g berberine plus 14g thistle; however you need to know those powder's densities then choose the capsule that would hold that much.
Wow! I was thinking if you measure the berberine and thistle out then mix them together, instead of pouring separately into the capsule filler .
Get a gram scale at harbor freight for like 3$. Then weigh your powders and mix them. Word of warning. A 1000mg (1Gram) capsule will really only hold about 750Mg. You have 2 halves to fill but only one half can be filled and tamped down. Since you are taking 640 mg you can easily get that into a 1000mg capsule with tamping.

Depending on how fine the powder is; a level teaspoon will produce 5-7; "O" caps. there are around 2500mg in a teaspoon. I usually start off with 10 teaspoons then add 4 more after tamping a couple of times; before placing the cap tops on

This video is the only cap filling video I've seen and I've found no reason to look for a better video on how to fill caps. One step that is not included is after the caps have been placed on the body is to compress the caps to their bodies until they go as far as they will go. Initially the caps are only placed on the bodies, they need to be pressed onto the bodies so they notch in. You'll feel it when you do it yourself. This has to be done manually for each cap when they are still in the orange plate, pressing the plates together won't do it.
