FINALLY!!! I was able to get Vanilla in the soul cannon and get the last illustration as well. First of all the illustration is unlocked by getting every event, this means you have to get Vanilla in the soul cannon. Before you do this it's best to be high leveled with a max tank and use the normal ending to loop around to chapter 7. Now that you are on chapter 7 the enemies will be playthrough 1 stats. You must get to chapter 11 not using the soul cannon as any soul cannon used will kill Vanilla by chapter 10. Once on chapter 11 use the Managarm to knockout everyone but Malt and Vanilla this will remove all other children from the soul cannon. (a handy method if you need to pick a person to put in the soul cannon.) Once at the end of chapter 11 beat the boss so that you can go onto chapter 12. Now that you are on chapyer 12 Vanilla will lose all plot armour and can be used in the soul cannon against either 2 bosses. (funny secret the soul cannon will error if you do this on any other chapter to soul cannon Vanilla.) I would love for someone to do a video on this in the future to inform all future players of Fuga. If anyone is to do a video it would be nice to be mentioned. I hope that this information is seen and shared with as many Fuga fans as possible.
I did beat Fuga 2 in first playthrough, avoiding usage of Soul Cannon and Managarm at all cost, got to the final boss, and right on his second phase Hax decided to put Vanilla into Soul Cannon!😅 Even with my curiosity I declined this rare possibility, just so I could get a good ending. I really fear to sacrifice the characters who I really liked in both Fuga games.🥲
god seeing all of them getting sacrificed and having specific scenes if they are chosen hurts a lot compared to the first game. i legit almost cried at the final cutscene.
After reading the manga and knowing what "exactly" happens to the sacrifices inside the Soul Cannon chamber. I can't see myself ever considering using the thing willingly again, I used to think they just disintegrated, but what actually happens in there it's the most brutal thing i've ever seen done on a cute character.
@@user-unos111 (spoilers from manga below) In the manga the first one to enter the Canon is Boron, but its in the first tutorial like escene of the game so they don't show you what happens and its gets reverted just like in the game. @@FlamedramonX That sounds an awful lot like the "slow and horrible" choice from Futurama suicide booths. P.D.: I was curious and actually checked the manga. Creepy and unexpected but, I wonder why it did happen differently with Boron (There was no blood then).
You surprise me that I don't use the soul canon... Damn, it's even sadder than in 1, and with one of my favorite characters... (Hack, I only watched the 1st sacrifice.) The worst is the dialogue that follows with Chick, Malt, Sheena and Mei, it hurts my heart so much... I had so many chills because of this passage... I just hope that in the third opus, it won't be even worse...
Allow me to disagree with that. Yes, sacrifices in Fuga 2 are more cruel and horrible than in Fuga 1. But I think it's supposed to work like that in Fuga. Like, you should feel yourself fucked up when you get to the bad ending by your choice only, isn't that right? The more terrifying impact the game gives from the player's choice, the more intention it brings not to cross the sacrifice path again. So, if CyberConnect2 make sacrifices in Fuga 3 even more horrifying (but do it right), the better the game will be. That's what I think.
God, the bad ending, especially as that wreath of white flowers and the fluttering pink petals fell with the Taranis...and then the ending song..."The Power of Tears" indeed.
The ending theme of Fuga 2 is good, but I dunno...First Fuga's ending melody "Memories of the earth and skies" got me more crying than that. Maybe because the melody's not sad enough?
Same here on my end. Even platinumed the first game! The second on the other end, I just didn’t feel like going through that emotional roller coaster again to try and platinum the second.
Not to mention, it's kinda easy to get true ending when you know it only required 6 lvl 2 relationship with Kid. The first game, everyone didn't expected a true ending
Any tips on beating Cayenne on the first fight? My tank is tough but dps wise is lacking. I haven’t used the soul cannon at all which is nuts because I’m trying to do a true ending on my first try. The earthquake spell is annoying
@@collectorhubs Interestingly, many of their souls seem to correspond to Undertale virtues associated with the color of their soul- probably by coincidence. Jin is yellow- Justice. His character arc involves him mellowing out from "vengeful" to "stopping the jerks from hurting more people." Boron is blue- Integrity. He's self-conscious, and trying to improve himself to not bother his friends. Socks is green- Kindness. He's one of the least confrontational- and just wants to make fancy toys with his engineering skills, instead of weapons. Kyle is orange- Bravery. He talks a lot of trash to the bosses, and he's a person of action, not words. Wappa is purple- Perseverance. She's plucky, unrelentingly peppy, and adventurous. Not much can get her down. There is no cyan soul for Patience, but Britz, whose soul is white, seems to have that virtue- he's introverted, and very orderly. Ironically, his playstyle is one of the _least_ patient- he's a rushdown machine gun user who can stunlock his foes. Malt is red- Determination. He's the only one who remembers the game overs to any degree, because he wakes up with tears in his eyes when you come back from one, and he has a strong sense of responsibility. He's also one of the most friendly.
What ending you will receive if you have 1 child alive and that is Mei or some of the other children? I am just wondering? Because I think it will still count as the bad ending if you have Mei alive (you somehow manage to beat the final boss with 2 characters Mei and Malt) in NG+!
The normal ending where the survivor mourn for the loss of Malt since he will fire the final shot at Cayenne regardless of who's alive. So if you managed to keep Vanilla alive, she will be the sole survivor of the tragedy, seeing how revenge has consumed her mentor and Malt. Malt will have a conversation with Maestro on how he sacrificed his life to save the others and how the tragedy can still be averted with him and Hanna still alive.
Tried, you will get normal ending as well. Only mei will alive as malt will always sacrifice himself. Only 12 children's will let you chose between trust hana and don't shoot.
At long as 1 person alive, it count as normal. You need to sacrifice every child for each boss, except for 1 boss in chapter 12 (antenna ) , so that you can use the last on varnagard fight
Thanks for the info for getting the bad ending. Do you have any idea how to get the last illustration? (the one at the bottom of the list under laundry 2.) Only thing left for me to do is get the last few soul cannon related events and get everyone to max level?
Question can you get the bad ending on new game + if Vanilla has 6 link events? or do I have to make a new file and not talk to vanilla? If so then is it best to get the bad ending on a first playthrough or on new game +?
