I just got an S110G, about 5 inches long and I have an S800G. The 110 is simply the most fun I've ever had, and the 107 will be arriving in just a couple days!
I've had 30 or more mini copters, and none of them comes close to the S107g. It is a dream to fly, it's very stable, takes off straight up off any surface, it is real easy to fly, I've flown it at least 50 times without one crash. It handles perfectly, and it's a blast to fly. It flys longer than any others, and still charges like new. I am very happy with it! Not to mention that it's easy to charge, the off on switch is exactly opposite on the other side of the charging port making it easy to

Awesome, that one looks very well made, thanks for the vid I have gone through 3 mini helicopters, last one was an Air Hawg, I think (it shot little darts.. is that the one you had?) it was more stable than the rest, but dog got to it before I mastered it, lol Is this easier to fly than other minis? You say you've been flying these for a while so I'm interested in your opinion. I imagine for the price, I'll try one of these anyway, thanks again for the video ! And of course, Happy B-day !!

I am currently waiting on a larger electric heli... a 26 inch outdoor Heli. I hope it flies as good as the copters we have... I love the way they fly. So steady. Again, thank you for sharing. Just for info the weights are to keep it flat in flight, the extra gyroscopic stabilisation bit is done by an extra chip in the electronics to sense rotation and correct it to keep it facing the way you want :)

To deal with the ground effect on landing that you mention, it occurs to me that you might try to find a grid of some sort to allow the downdraft to flow through it. One example of such a grid is one of those professional pen and pencil holders where it is like a ten by ten grid and the pens and pencils drop down through it. A metal screen raised up slightly should also work, but it couldn't be too fine a mesh. Glad to see you are an NRA member! Again-- you post an outstanding video!

I love this heli, I've been messing with my blue one for about 2 days and have had a blast! Me any my brother try and knock each other out of the skies by warring with down drafts :). It's absolutely amazing fun to have down draft wars. Great video, keep 'em coming. You've got my sub. ^_^
Many early happy returns. =] From what i've been told the twin rotor choppers are a lot easier to fly than the single rotor-tail rotor choppers. Guessing purely down to the blade configuration but just wondered if you know exactly why.
Great Helicopter Fred, I have had one of those for about a year now, and my kids have crashed it hundreds of times and it's still going strong. The USB cable would not work for me....maybe my usb ports don't put out enough?
How well does it handle itself outside? I'm deciding between the outdoors one for 10 pounds more or this little one which id like to be able to take out to the garden once in a while when its not windy.
Do you have any info on the X-01 ?? I can find tons of info on the cheaper S107 model but I cannot find anything about my X-01. It looks very similar but has some more switches on the controller. A 1 and 2 switch for beginner/advanced settings and has a switch to turn off the running light. which rocks for keeping battery life. It was 49.99 and came in an aluminum case and has one of each replacement blade. I figured out it's from syma but cannot find anything else.

Hi, my son dropped his in a puddle of water. It starting working on its own when switched off. Is there any hope to repair it ? should I dismantle it and wipe it with alcohol ?

hey fred, thanks for the funny nerdy video. you are funny. very cool toy I got on amazon for $18. my advice to newbies is just practice for the 7 minute battery life (45 min charge time) and do nothing but left thumbstick up and down and try to keep it at 5 or 6 feet. then use right stick and very easy. oh, and don't chase your dogs with it. :-)

My s107 only flyies for a minute. change the battery twice, with new batteries 150 maybe 3min and now 240 now the heli does not even have enough power to fly. Why can I not get any flying time???? I want to fly this baby whats wrong
I think the blues are more expensive than the reds and yellows because they are genuine and the reds and yellows are fakes, my red one is extremely unstable and does not hover well, it veers to the right immediately after it leaves the ground.
