It is a lovely-looking ship. Just wished the Lego version was a bit bigger, so it could have fit two figures sitting side by side, and if possible, a little workshop area for Huyang. Huyang is such a cool character.
@@RadioFreeCoruscant Good choice, looking forward to seeing it on the channel. I have also thought of doing that, but... so many projects; so little time...
I’ve been thinking of making a video showing off all my LEGO ships, but it might be fun to do a community post showing one off every week or something too. I’ll start with the T-6 if I decide to do that!
@RadioFreeCoruscant Yes, please. I would really enjoy to see what you came up with. Must be a lot of work also. I did this same thing but with the Lego Architecture sets... I wanted the NYC one years back and the individual Empire State Building set but was so expensive so I build my own city from free bricks and I love it. As far as Lego SW ships, I only gave 2 which I did some slight mods to (T6 and the Ghost) and a ship I made from scratch from the frame of the Armored Marauder.
Another great ship breakdown. I really love all of your videos please keep making them ^^ You're one of the only content creators I actually have notifications turned on for aha
OR the most likely in universe explanation is like cars, the ships have different versions, with different varying degrees of upgrades. Clearly to save on parts and to obtain large amounts thy had to cut corners on quality. Thus, why the Ahsoka T-6 Shuttle is more upgraded even if it's pre-war. It was probably the highest end model. As for the turret, it's a modifications at a later time or it came like that but whoever was in charge of the budgeting for the war dropped the ball on not having the turret model included.
I was looking for information of why the wings turn Vertical rather than horizontal doing flight, just wondering what are some of the advantages and con between the two modes?
I like it. I have a lot of mixed feelings about the series though. Leaning towards “positive”. I still wish we knew what happened to Maul’s Mandalorian ship which Ezra kept after he died. They used it to get to Yavin early in season 4 and it was never seen again. I had hoped to see it in the Ahsoka series.
I feel like they would probably either use it as a troop transport or trade it to the Mandalorians in exchange for something more useful. It really wouldn’t be that great for anyone not wearing a jet pack. I would have liked to know what happened to it, too.
I have looked all over the internet but cannot find how many credits one of those shuttles costs.... not even the basic model has a cost on any website. Ashoka's ship had the rear turret, some models only had missles, some had the dual cannons you mentioned.
I wonder how did she manage to find a shuttle like this. Since finding Clone Wars era vehicles can be very rare especially after the Battle of Endor. Not a bad ship but it could use extra weaponry like a front mounted laser cannon turret for example.
She mentions to Huyang in the finale that "he's been keeping the ship flying for longer than she's been alive" so I took that to mean that it belongs to Huyang instead. Perhaps he had the shuttle to fly around and make lightsaber repairs, where he might not need a ship as big as the Crucible. As for the guns, you can actually see a couple in the Battle of Exegol that have cannons attached to the cockpit!
It could’ve easily been possible that Ahsoka found the ship with Huyang at an old Jedi Outpost or something similar to that. For the Exegeol battle scene it was difficult in seeing laser turrets mounted on the sides of the cockpit. Since the angles I’ve seen them with shots didn’t allow me to see them easily.
I love the shuttle. Got the lego version and it looks great, if one sided. But aside from looking good, is there any point for the wings to rotate? Planet side you may want them horizontal, but in space it won't matter, as there's no atmosphere so wings have no effect.
I’m not really sure why it needs to do that. It could just be an aesthetic thing for in-atmosphere flight, or have something to do with hyperspace physics I suppose.
@@RadioFreeCoruscant look at the people standing next to the shuttle compared to the interior lol. And the turret size from the outside compared to the really long tube Sabine crawls through to get to it

Yeah, I think it definitely could have been better. I just decided to make my own rather than buy it.

Very interesting.
If the rotation mechanism ever jams, landing it is going to be "interesting".

eagerly awaiting the MGS. i LOVE ships woth moving shifting and spinning parts…b-wing, v-19, t-6, lambda shuttle etc…
Just got mine last week. It’s a thing of beauty! Looks great next to the Ghost. Can’t wait to have the Phantom 2!
Looks like an angel fish
It was also part of the Citizens Fleet in the 9th movie

This ship is a literal tardis in the show, zero way the interior could fit lol
I dunno, it’s bigger than it looks. Not counting the wing, it’s about 10-12 meters wide at the widest point.

Ships that "Spin" like this are so dumb. It's a Drama Queen ship, that's all. Dreamed up by a talentless hack to carry a weak story line.
the thing that annoys me the most about ships like this is the fact they spin half their hull to land. wtf is the point lol
