- Or more accurately...Evolution of the Dodge Viper GTS-R and its brothers, sisters and cousins in Gran Turismo.
Yes, we aren't just looking at one car here, we're looking mainly at the Oreca Viper from GT2-6, but also its predecessor and successor too!
I planned to have this video up earlier, but with the extra footage it took a little longer than planned! So I apologies for the wait!

The original plan was just to do the Team Oreca Viper but...that planned changed and I did all the Viper Race Cars! Even the Group 4 one!
Though personally I prefer the GTS-R to the GT3-R...personal opinion 🙃 call it nostalgia!
The Gr.4 SRT Viper GTS-R still amazing looking car though.😊
From Gran Turismo 1-4 the Viper sounded like a 4 cylinder, 4 and 5 sounds like a V8. GT7 got right with the V10 sound, but I just think it sounds too softly

Honoka Kousaka's Dodge Viper GTS-R TEAM ORECA LMGT2 1999 in Gran Turismo 2 undoubtedly still is the best looking car.

My favourite car of all time. Was always a top GT class car from the first game to GT6. If only it got the premium treatment it so rightly deserves. Though i hate what they did in GT5, making one faster than the other. If theyre going to do that then just include the 1999 version instead..
I agree, I don't get why they didn't just add the '99 version instead. It has such a cool livery too! I wish it came back in GT7, I miss it - I miss both of them!

Fun fact, there are 2 Viper GTS-R in GT3, one is the Chrysler version with the number 51 as shown in the video and the other one is the Dodge Version with the number 91 that is in the UC and Japanese version.
Gran Turismo 6 used both #51 and #91 Viper Team Oreca.
Both exist in GT5 as well.
I knew about GT5 and 6 having 51 and 91. Didnt know GT3 was the same way depending on version
1:12 STP Taisan Viper and 1:57 this Team Oreca Viper were always my most favorites forever, both liveries are the best, they're perfect!! Mainly the STP Taisan Viper totally legendary and it's my favorite number 1!😻❤❤❤❤❤❤
Sad both Vipers with those liveries never come back on the next games, at least they're on the best GT game (on my opinion) Gran Turismo 2 always the best forever! I always dream for a full remake of this game with all cars, beta stuff also included, even some cars and liveries from GT1 on GT2, making a complete edition for the game, having everything included.

I like how camera swing during corners like in gt3.
Great iconic GT car but never liked the sound from GT2-GT4. I personally prefer the sound from GT5 onwards because it sounds very close to it's real life counterpart
En gt7 tienes el viper gts... No entiendo por que no lo enseñas ya que en el editor de vehiculos puedes modificarlo
Because the car you're referring to in GT7 is actually the street car.
