- Here is the third part of Utaho no Tatari! This is the "true ending", I guess you could say. This part was difficult not to get lost on, so I had to refilm twice and chop a lot of my wandering. Just look for the towers around the map using the map provided in game and you'll do okay! ;;
Note on the translation: I started to simplify some parts or cut them entirely due to repetitions or it had a better, simpler English meaning. Check my website (koiinmarch.wordpress.com) for full translation notes and any scenes I may have missed! Thanks so much!

Apologies for the delay! I just saw your comment, but I wanted to add what I believe to be the story for Utaho no Tatari! Would love to see a lore video about this to be honest, as this game is so full of unfinished questions!! ;;

Utaho 1: Utano's grandmother dies, and the curse from her village begins to affect Utano's household. I believe this was due to Rino investigating her grandmother's death (Rino hired the paranormal investigator to investigate more about grandma's death)? The day Utano returns late, the curse killed her mother, father, and sister because they found out about the curse itself and Utano is next. If you call the police, nothing happens and the game ends ahaha!
In the other endings, Utano can either go to the hospital or the village. The hospital ending has her find out more about the curse, but, like the Oni girl warned you, the hospital route just explains what happened to the people in the village/ business people when they tried to renovate the village. Everyone died, and you're next. When you reach the end of the hospital route, you are captured by the police with nothing to show for, and you are killed by the curse in the end too.
In the village, you learn more about the curse itself, and Utano finds her grandmother, who jumps in a well to run from the curse. Utano also finds documents discussing the curse's rituals and how the village appeased it? You run from the curse, and eventually you're caught by grandma and the game ends there with no explanation.
I'm guessing this is where Utano may have escaped? I'm thinking the curse wanted Utano to have kids so they could spread the "curse", but I'm not entirely sure on that.

i wonder what was behind that password door
I'm thinking of playing this back in the near future, and I will definitely try that password door again! I'll most likely have to google it in Japanese, but I'll edit this comment if I hear anything interesting! :D
LOL So I just found it! The password to the door in the forest is: 開く扉, which literally means "open door"! It will take you directly to the village so you don't have to search to find the keys first!
