And your translations are actually quite good, keep it up❤️❤️❤️ I also like to be as close to the source material as possible, and sometimes people have only just used google translate (instead of translating it themselves) which becomes confusing and loses the game's charm. I'm glad you kept stuff like "grandson's hand" with an added translator's note saying "literally a backscratcher". That's the way it should be because Japanese way of saying certain things also has its charm. Thank you again so much. I love these videos!!! ❤❤❤❤ (I also translate manga for fun and or when I'm commissioned to do so, and it helps me learn more about Japanese writing and how they describe things. I also like writing down translator notes for other people to understand why certain phrases are said in such way ❤️)

In my opinion, it respects the original writers' intent and well, writing! Plus having translator notes (short ones are good -- always limit it to a few words or add "for context, search ___" 😂) is always useful when something is part of Japanese culture and how they phrase things. (example: I made an unofficial translated YAIBA manga here [manga by Gosho Aoyama] where I translated the Daruma-san game to just the way it is, and added a translator note that it's a game similar to the Green Light - Red Light game!)💖💖 Teaching informal Japanese? That's AWESOME! Whatever you're doing now, keep it up. 💖💖💖 I can't wait to see more horror games translated properly. 💖
