I'm not a modeler but i brooded over "you can over-weather." Totally can see that. In fact, as you pointed out you would "under-weather" actually adds to the effect as some portions of the tank makes it look as though "natural" lighting is visible. Very exciting job as always.
Thank you for the great comment. Weathering is a tough choice. I think people forget these vehicles may have only seen the field for days or months not years. Plus the crews kept them in tip top condition.
