- In any given society, there will be a point where the questions cease, and no further challenges are allowed. When you get to that point, you have identified the god of the system. There is no appeal permitted past the god of the system. In order to even exist as a society, there must be such a point.

I read an article today about this statue. They mentioned the horns and that they represented strength. Thankfully, Psalm 75:9-10 are the truth, “As for me, I will declare this forever; I will sing praise to the God of Jacob, All the horns of the wicked I will cut off, but the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up.”

This is a very powerful and hard-hitting podcast and it appears that few Christians are up to dealing with its realities. Well done Doug Wilson. A book entitled, "The Battle for the American Mind" explores the idea of expanding Christian schools to the point of actually taking over education here in the US. It is an idea whose time has come, I believe.
All 25 of them, most of which teach woke ideology.
They are no better than the Marxist American National School system. I hope they can deescalate their apostacizing but doubtful make new institutions of Christian schools all are currently corrupted.
I recommended books too
Thankfully, many private schools in Dallas are Christian because the churches have stepped up to provide good educations to kids since no one in the public schools speak English anymore.
It’s so bad,the city recruits teachers from Mexico because there aren’t enough teachers here who speech Spanish.

Wow so much wisdom compacted in this short video. I particularly liked "idols detest their worshippers and deal with them treacherously."
The end was especially affirming. I've just been following the Lord for 2 years now, and I'm a new member of about 6 months in a somewhat recent Church plant, I think between 3 and 5 years. It's a very modest and humble congregation of about 50, give or take a few. We're a "house church", We have three elders and three deacons. We take the Lord's supper every Lord's Day, we only baptized believers, but we do start Young nonetheless, as the gospel can be understood and believed by anyone who can understand sin and atonement. Only the men teach, but there are women's Bible studies and prayer meetings, and also an open share time after dinner on Tuesdays, when we have our weekly potluck. Our Sunday services include singing, a time of prayer and then we observe the Lord's supper, followed by a teaching prepared by any of the brothers in attendance, UNLESS there is an assigned topic (right now we are studying the first several chapters in the book of Romans, and each chapter is assigned to a different brother to teach us each Sunday until it's done.).
All that to say, I love my church home so much that it's the best part of my week! It's very quaint and "humble pie", and I absolutely love it. Even the singing is different than most places. It's only accompanied by either an acoustic guitar, and once in a while someone plays the piano instead, but mostly just the voices of the saints and it's truly glorious when you take away all the lights in the smoke machines and amplifiers, and have everyone sitting in metal chairs on the same level, you get to see the raw and uncut, unaltered and unenhanced... Heaven on Earth.
This is a strong Man guided by the word of may he be blessed
The last point: God fearing churches with men who will charge hell with a bucket of water as a matter of course. This is the Way. The gates of hell won't prevail. We either believe that or not.
I’m encouraged to hear that James Lindsay interacted with both Doug Wilson and James White and got a better understanding of Gnosticism from one and theonomy from the other. He could certainly have worse influences. Praying God will save him, could these be the means he uses?
I've listened to countless hours of his podcasts. He's on my mind and heart a lot. I pray for him often. I hope he finds some Christians who are genuinely caring towards him. I think he often feels used. In certain cases, he may not be wrong. I hate that. From what I've seen, he seems to be an honest person, and one of principle. I respect that.

With the social media censorship, job losses, and even criminal charges in some cases, that’s exactly what happened with the pandemic wasn't it?
I think in this case it's possible that, in part, the artist has tried to address the criticisms of the well known "Fearless Girl" statue by making the "NOW" statue more inclusive and not representative of a fixed idea or specific community. In the artist's own words, "The sculptures are temporary and not a fixed point in the landscape, nor symbolic of any fixed ideas or of a specific community." That's the god of the system. Represents nothing, stands for nothing, is nothing.

I am not a Christian, but I long for the days of a strong Christian America. I do not fear from a Christian America persecution for my heterodox beliefs, but I recognize the present threat to my speech, to my property, to my children, and to my humanity that the current regime presents.
To those Christians who would wave off the evil enacted by our government with a dismissive 'render unto Caesar'; our founders gave to us that title. We are all now Caesar, and rendered unto us is the responsibility of the keeping of the state. That while we're under the color of Republicanism we abdicate the responsibility of government to those who would mutilate children and unleash pestilence and famine, we have not only failed our civic duty, but failed a spiritual one.

I would say that "men charging hell with a bucket of water" is akin to leaving your children in public school. If you are training your children well, then they can certainly ask some very hard hitting questions to the woke instructors. In other words, you're taking the fight to the enemy. Stay in the trenches and fight the good fight. How many lost children could be saved if they see fellow young Christian peers courageously defending the gospel on the enemies turf?!
Children are in their formative years physically, mentally and spiritually. I would not willingly set them before secularists for a so called education.
What a terrible idea. We do not make our children front line cannon fodder.

Before I start: yes, there are people like David French who just want a secular society because they hate God and his law (no matter how much they scream "lord lord").
But, I think the more coherent fear is that the government that can close Hindu Temples can also close churches. Which is why, I think we need to be willing to shun sinful behavior as a majority, long before we even consider laws (which can be twisted and abused... case in point: look at how far the TSA has deviated from it's initial promises... they are stealing from traveloers with full impunity, all in the name of "not descriminating")
This is not even considering the temptation to make a law, and then not enforce it. "Oh the police will handle it" we say.
The churches sold out to the satanic IRS long ago.

Dude, I don't think they are necessarily on opposite sides. It all depends on a specific definition of Christian Nationalism.
@@Yesica1993 in many ways they are on the same side, but when it comes to Christian Nationalism (theonomy) Lindsay totally opposes it. He thinks you can have a functioning society without Christian principles. The question is, by what standard should a nation determine it’s laws?
@@usaflambert Again, that's where all the different definitions, as well as the specifics of how it would play out, get confusing. But we're not talking about throwing all non Christians in jail if they don't want to go to church. That's how it's often presented. At least... I hope that's not what it is. See? Even I don't know at this point. It's exhausting.
@@Yesica1993 many people have jumped on the Christian Nationalism bandwagon and muddied the water. It’s really more simple than people are making it. Look up Christian theonomy, this will give you a good idea of what Christian Nationalism is. RJ Rushdoony, Doug Wilson, Greg Bahnsen all have good material on theonomy.
