If something can tempt one to sin, it's just as bad as sin itself. This saying isn't just personal it's written in the Holy Bible. Satan has planted a seed into Eve and started planting many more seeds since one plan was successful. Now look, the butterfly effect took place, man has been evil at nature for more than centuries now because of that seed. Maybe the seed may not come off as words only but as actions too. If it's not approaching in it's full form it will approach subtly. If you saw these things of evil for what they are right away, you would want nothing to do with it. Therefore the devil is as wise as a serpent and will approach you as an angel of light at first but when you wanna walk away it might be too late. Be not deceived brother/sister the devil will not rest to destroy all of man but God is Great. He is slow to anger and quick in mercy towards His children but will not help by force, He wants us to choose Him or darkness. It’s so ironic that you mention the Power spin-off because after I did your 30 day challenge I tried to catch up on the Power:Force and my spirit was so grieved by watching those episodes it revealed that I had been ok with the killing, soft porn, and drug dealing, after watching those episodes I cried and immediately went into prayer and repented. I decided to watch power with my husband and I don’t even watch stuff like that, however I wanted to spend time with him and show him I’m will to watch what he wants, however after like 3 episodes, the next day I told him I can’t watch it anymore more, that I was being disturbed in my spirit and I was being convicted. And my husband said he felt the same way praise the Lord. And here the Lord saying that show hallelujah amen. Was having reservations about watching that new Exorcist movie. At first, was set to watch it with a friend and a mutual friend. Then the release date comes, and nothing. Then my other friend told me the reason why we hadn't gone to see it is because they weren't sure they wanted to take me to see a horror movie because they weren't sure I'd like it. Mind you, I never even told them about how I don't like horror in the first place! So God not only convicted me in His Holy Spirit to NOT go see it, He was also weighing on my friend's heart not to take me. Glory to God!

I was watching Jane the Virgin and loved that show until it started to take a moral turn. Out of 100 episodes I got to 95 and God said "no more!" I had to grieve not knowing how it ended but He was right. I saw it going bad and I was just committed to seeing the end. I should have listened sooner.

God convicted me about watching Real Housewives. This was my all time favorite series ever but I slowly stopped watching a few years ago and now I’m completely done with it. I only watch the morning news, documentaries, cooking shows, HGTV, Christian RUclips podcasts, Hallmark, and occasionally reruns of Sister Sister. I can’t believe how much God has changed me, I’m so grateful 🙌🏾 I like sports too but a lot of the players participate in witchcraft for their talent. Jake and Logan Paul show their spiritual ritual they do before fights on their Netflix special and Tom Brady and his wife openly talk about the witchcraft they did for him to win all those super bowls. I like the Christian athletes like Russell Wilson and Steph Curry ❤

My sister and I watched P Valley when it first came out during quarantine. Last year they came out with their second season and after every episode that I watched I was thinking very sinister thoughts. (I didn’t finish the season due to this reason) Even the first season, I was rewatching to remember what happened and I felt this negative weight on my mind.

I was binge watching love and marriage Huntsville after not watching tv for weeks maybe months and I didn’t understand why I was being convicted to not watch regular people live their lives until I got to about season 3 and the relationships are toxic and provoking anger and resentment in my heart so yeah it’s always for your own good

All of God’s children , but particularly black people need to steer clear of shows by some of our own people. I think bc of our black history, and / or culture we feel that we should watch any and everything that has our people in it for various reasons(relatability,culture, support, etc) but if it’s ungodly- not building us up spiritually, inspiring us for righteousness then it really does us NO GOOD.

I feel you. The lord has shown me a lot of tv shows and movies he doesn’t want me to watch. Married at first sight (God told me they glorify divorce). All DC and Marvel movies. Sabrina the teenager watch old school the Holy Spirit yelled at me to stop. All Disney movies. Twilight series. So much. Even some cartoons like bob’s burger ( glorify witchcraft, homosexuality and jokes about God) he wants me to stop that show but I’m struggling so I need to really pray to stop watching it.
Sometime ago I was convicted to stop watch hallmark movies...i would download and binge watch them cause i dont have cable...they seemingly were subtle romance shows but they glorifes the flesh.
Man I believe this I just tried to watch a Halloween movie and could only watch 10 sec and turn off the TV this is a sick world Jesus have mercy on our souls
😂😂😂 I feel you, but So the closer your walk becomes with the Lord through prayer and reading of the Word, worship/ obedience, and you deeply realize His Love for us and His sacrifice for us to save us from sin that leads to death and Hell, your love, your desires will be to please the Lord and you’ll want to stay away from things that are not pleasing to Him. Our flesh and spirit are at war against the other all the time the one we feed the most has the most power and wins in warfare. That being said, I’m reminded that I need to go on a fast and pray. ❤

I received this word, discernment is so important and to be vigilant at all times. We are in this world but not of it... I guess no more "Suits!" for me, I will obey Father.
All i watch is RUclips now to get closer to Christ but still with that you have to use your discernment, because a lot of preachers, pastors and prophets work under the kingdom of darkness. So I watch a couple of people, including you, a lot of financial videos in apartment upgrade videos, and my heart is content. I am not missing the episodes of power. I feel like when I used to watch those I will get lustful and that something I’ve been battling for years, but by the grace of God, I don’t struggle as hard with that anymore. I pray without ceasing Allah the Holy Spirit to lead me and guide me. Everything I do now have to have Jesus in mind.

I use to play Grand Theft Auto on the Xbox one. God is slowly taking the worldly things and desires out of my life. I stopped playing Grand Theft Auto about a month ago. I loved all the Gangster Movies…Power, BMF, all power spin-offs especially Raising Kanan ( I really wanted to see how Kanan and Jukebox became so savage). I thought I was ok by fast forwarding the sex scenes. Baby God has done a work on me. I knew once Raising Kanan went off I would not be able to watch any of those series again. At this point I’ll give everything up to not have any open doors. Sometimes it feels like a lot to give up everything but I want to be used by God and in the center of Gods will. Nothing can compare to spending eternity with God. At least I’ll never have to upgrade TVs, cause I can’t watch nothing anyway lol.

If something can tempt one to sin, it's just as bad as sin itself. This saying isn't just personal it's written in the Holy Bible. Satan has planted a seed into Eve and started planting many more seeds since one plan was successful. Now look, the butterfly effect took place, man has been evil at nature for more than centuries now because of that seed. Maybe the seed may not come off as words only but as actions too. If it's not approaching in it's full form it will approach subtly. If you saw these things of evil for what they are right away, you would want nothing to do with it. Therefore the devil is as wise as a serpent and will approach you as an angel of light at first but when you wanna walk away it might be too late. Be not deceived brother/sister the devil will not rest to destroy all of man but God is Great. He is slow to anger and quick in mercy towards His children but will not help by force, He wants us to choose Him or darkness. Was having reservations about watching that new Exorcist movie. At first, was set to watch it with a friend and a mutual friend. Then the release date comes, and nothing. Then my other friend told me the reason why we hadn't gone to see it is because they weren't sure they wanted to take me to see a horror movie because they weren't sure I'd like it. Mind you, I never even told them about how I don't like horror in the first place! So God not only convicted me in His Holy Spirit to NOT go see it, He was also weighing on my friend's heart not to take me. Glory to God!

I was watching Jane the Virgin and loved that show until it started to take a moral turn. Out of 100 episodes I got to 95 and God said "no more!" I had to grieve not knowing how it ended but He was right. I saw it going bad and I was just committed to seeing the end. I should have listened sooner.

God convicted me about watching Real Housewives. This was my all time favorite series ever but I slowly stopped watching a few years ago and now I’m completely done with it. I only watch the morning news, documentaries, cooking shows, HGTV, Christian RUclips podcasts, Hallmark, and occasionally reruns of Sister Sister. I can’t believe how much God has changed me, I’m so grateful 🙌🏾
I like sports too but a lot of the players participate in witchcraft for their talent. Jake and Logan Paul show their spiritual ritual they do before fights on their Netflix special and Tom Brady and his wife openly talk about the witchcraft they did for him to win all those super bowls. Sabrina the teenager watch old school the Holy Spirit yelled at me to stop. All Disney movies. Twilight series. So much. Even some cartoons like bob’s burger ( glorify witchcraft, homosexuality and jokes about God) he wants me to stop that show but I’m struggling so I need to really pray to stop watching it.

I feel like when I used to watch those I will get lustful and that something I’ve been battling for years, but by the grace of God, I don’t struggle as hard with that anymore. I loved all the Gangster Movies…Power, BMF, all power spin-offs especially Raising Kanan ( I really wanted to see how Kanan and Jukebox became so savage). I thought I was ok by fast forwarding the sex scenes. Baby God has done a work on me. I knew once Raising Kanan went off I would not be able to watch any of those series again. At this point I’ll give everything up to not have any open doors. Sometimes it feels like a lot to give up everything but I want to be used by God and in the center of Gods will. Nothing can compare to spending eternity with God. At least I’ll never have to upgrade TVs, cause I can’t watch nothing anyway lol.

I was angry at God becuase i felt like he just wanted me to get rid of all tv shows and was upset at me and that caused me to be angry at him in my heart no matter what i tried to pray. Good word! I’ve gotten rid of a lot of shows/horror movies over the past 2 years. I know I have to get rid of the Real Housewives. I watch them, HGTV and Food Network. Hopefully the last 2 are ok 😂

Yes, The Holy Spirit was definitely speaking to me about The Office, video games, and other older shows....The Golden Girls and Friends!!!!!! They touch on all subjects that don’t Glorify The Lord!
