A trailer that doesn't give away the whole movie but giving just enough to wrap you into seeing it. Great cast. Definitely will be watching this.
Gives just enough for me to remember the British TV series with exactly the same plot, after looking it up it seems it is based on it.
Netflix has been getting good at doing that. At least with the movies that are actually good.

I didn’t know this movie was shot in my area, I was shocked because I recognized every scene so this was extra special. Sandra is a wonderful actress, Netflix should keep doing movies with her.

This movie is a masterpiece.

Confrontations with almost everybody as she gets her life back on track. The only moment left to mystery is if she sees her sister again. So I guess you're right, not the whole movie.

Damn. Just. Damn. Wow. This movie is…I cried. Sandra’s acting broke me. It is excellent. Any movie where Sandra’s character is in a desperate, survival-type situation or just plain broken,, is an absolute must-see. Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic can suck it for giving this a low rating. This was so good.

Incredibly powerful film! Sandra Bullock's performance is like nothing before. The entire story is captivating and moving.
Viola Davis as always, did an amazing performance.
Not to mention the end. You wouldn't expect it. This is a beautiful tale of love, real and unconditional love between siblings, and the willingness to sacrifice your own life for the betterment of your loved ones.
A must see film! And, hopefully it will shake your soul to the core to believe to give a second chance to others. We as humanity, can and should do better for each other.

I agree with DREYA, they really added the hard time she had went through and age to Sandra. She really played the character like it was real life. I found this on Netflix it was rated number one in the US out of the top 10 and I'm glad I found it. What a story line, great writing, acting and directing here. I wish I could give it more than just a thumbs up on Netflix as I believe it deserves more than that. Very touching movie, I would rate it 12 stars out of 10. Tragic but beautiful story!

Agreed. I first saw her in Speed and thought she would have a short career, if any, portraying cute, spunky girls. I never saw anything close to the amazing career she actually ended up having.
I always liked her from the very first movies I saw with her … even in some silly comedies or action movies I think she played the best she could. Though I love her in dramas, I also adore her being a goofy character

Probably my favourite film of this year. Sandra Bullock is a really good actor and brings depth and sensitivity to her characters
What a cast. And I'm a sucker for stories of redemption, or not redemption. A plot that will finally let Bullock actually act, she is so under-rated, and here with Viola Davis and more. This could be really powerful.

I cannot forgive the ultra beautiful Sandra Bullock for that miserable stint she did in Miss Congeniality 2 where she sat in a wheelchair and dressed like an old lady and acted so creepy! A beautiful lady never should be made homely. Horrible tragic scene.

Saddest thing is that Slater(Sandra)suffer 20yrs prison for her young sister's accidental crime..what a sacrifice l cried a lot makes me think what agony she's been through..
