I was doing a search on Mendelssohn’s Songs without Words (6) for piano, Book 2, Op. 30 and accidentally stumbled on your page. Here is a compliment before I go away, you have beautiful hands. Best,
My girlfriend plays this song to me all the time, and I decided to learn it today. This has already been really helpful seeing that I can't read notes. I can play the intro after 10 mins of watching your video. Thanks for doing an amazing job.
Thanks for writing, Emilian. You have strong mirror neurons (learning by imitation). How about taking a peek at my first two sight-reading lessons? You can really surprise your girlfriend!
our mirror neurons enable us to copy MOTION. E.g., if I touch my nose, you can touch yours w/o looking. It is the same principle. try this: focus on my finger movement. just the beginning part. place your hands in the correct position first. good luck :) I hope you learn to read music, in a few years you'll find this piece easy to learn.
Miss Jane :The piece I am talking about is on the same album of Mendelssohn "Songs Without Words " As you know these piece is composed for many parts . The one I am looking for is Songs Without Words , Spring Song Opus 62 No 6 in A Mayor I believe is A mayor maybe A minor . It is some kind of allegro Thanks Elsie
