@@austinwalker2000 the only reason i can think of for why they used grundy instead of killer croc is because by this point while croc is a strong guy, he isn't as strong as he was in asylum/city. as shown in origins, batman can clearly take croc in a one on one fight. so there would be no point in the whole "using electricity to stun him thing" another option they had was to use tn-1 bane. you could make it so after origins the police couldn't find away to revert bane back to normal, so instead they've been keeping him in a special containment cell. but when the breakout in blackgate happened. bane escaped in the sewers, you run into him and have to take him down just like in origins. and because batman can't just whale on tn-1 bane, using electricity to stun him first would be more justified. the only problem with using bane is that it would change the big reveal in the game.

Well, Arkham Origins starts 2 or 3 years after Bruce Wayne became Batman, so he already fought and knew most of these villains and put them in Black Gate, including Grundy. Thats why hes there. After the Black Gate breakout, Grundy escaped like everybody else and gets captured by the Penguin and his men, and thats the fight in Arkham City. Like it or not, this game is canon in the Arkhamverse.
In Arkham City Penguin says that Grundy was already there when he bought the Iceberg Lounge. I don't remember if they ever tell you how he got there though.
They could have used c-list crook, Blockbuster instead and the boss battle would have played out the same. I know it´s a tight budget, but if they simply changed the "skin" of Grundys 3d model, and added a different voice it could have worked.
In the grundy boss fight, when i played the game for the first time, i could not beat him, years later i am playing through again, and i watched this. Yesterday, i got to that part but i had gotten the electric batarang before, and so i electrocuted the water below grundy and stunned him, the game apparently ends the fight if you stun him in front of the door, so i shocked him once and beat him, easiest thing ever
All he says in Blackgate is "Grundy..." Origins Bats has a bad habit of saying an opponent's name right before they fight... I don't consider the Grundy fight a part of the Arkham Universe, just put him there to try and boost sales. In City there were posters for him, Grundy's exisitence wasn't a mystery to people in City, but I doubt Batman had met Grundy before. Penguin, Ra's, and Riddler all knew about him, Batman surely had looked into the history of Gotham and Wonder City. The Grundt fight in this game was lame for so many reasons. I mean electricity gave him power, kept him moving in City, now you defeat him with it! Stupid. Now I'm going back to forgetting he's in this game...
This game story is a bit weird, Grundy appears for no reason, blackgate prison looks 100% different from the one we saw in Arkham Origins.. To me this game is non-canon to the arkhamverse..
I honestly don’t like the Gameplay & Graphics of BlackGate, I don’t get why they didn’t just do the normal style of this game and it’s other DLCs, but those comic book graphics in the transition scenes are top notch.

Kittenbot 42 it was made for the 3DS and PS Vita at first. It didn't do well there I guess (people were expecting a full 3D Arkham game on handhelds and were disappointed when they saw this) which is why it was launched on home consoles.

I think this game should go onto iOS and android because A,it would be much better than the stupid fighting games which like two people like and B because well, I just got arkham city and I'm playing it like crazy so I won't be able to get the game cause it's stupid(not the game the idea)
This game is good in the stealth sequences. However, the combat is utterly shit. How did they fuck up the tried and tested beat em up formula. Also, the backtracking is painful. Especially when there are no enemy respawns when you backtrack. Backtracking in metroidvania games is only fun because you get to try out your new gadgets and weapons on enemies. That and there is some interaction and challenge besides just simply moving backwards. This game is utterly mediocre even for handhelds.
