    1:36 @ifm : You say in the video that these sensors can be used in tanks to measure liquid level. Wont condensation be a problem? As far as I know, Ultrasonic sensors fail to measure correctly when there is condensation.

      @ifmgroup  10 месяцев назад

      Condensation is a problem in rare cases. Due to the vibrations of the membrane and the mounting direction of the sensor, deposits on the sensor surface are unlikely, but cannot be ruled out. It is correct that any foreign body such as dust or water in the form of condensate can influence the measurement. It is not generally possible to determine at what concentration an influence on the measurement result can be assumed. Functional tests are essential here.

    which one good for detect car in high way line ?

    • @ifmgroup
      @ifmgroup  8 месяцев назад

      Hello! When it comes to detecting cars on a highway, we would recommend using an ifm radar sensor rather than an ultrasonic sensor, as it offers better performance in such scenarios.

    How to increase the sensing range of HC-SRO4 ultrasonic sensor from 400cm to 900cm?

    • @ifmgroup
      @ifmgroup  2 года назад

      Unfortunately, we cannot answer your question as the article HC-SRO4 has nothing to do with our sensors. Nevertheless, we would like to point out that we have ultrasonic sensors with a range of up to 8m in our portfolio.

    What is the range of ultrasonic waves

    • @ifmgroup
      @ifmgroup  4 года назад

      Hello Mukesh Kumar,
      the range depends on the design of the machine. As taller it is and as taller the ultrasonic wave producing surface is, the higher is the range of the ultrasonic waves. To get the specific range, you should take a look in the technical datasheets.
      We hope this answer could help you a little bit. :)

    Greetings,
    I am trying to find a sensor that I could update te range to a max range of 127mm or 5", are your sensors teachable with buttons or do I need software? Thanks!

    • @ifmgroup
      @ifmgroup  2 года назад

      Thank you for your interest in our products.
      We have a wide range of ultrasonic sensors, which can be teached with buttons or with Software.

    Am amazed with the technology of yours... but what will happen if there was a foam above the liquid level.. how will this technology give us the correct reading? can you explain if possible

    • @ifmgroup
      @ifmgroup  4 года назад

      Hi Aravindh, that question is not easy to answer: The mixed measurement depends on the foam's density. On the one hand we have the reflection from the medium but, on the other hand, also the reflection from the foam.
