- Cruising is expensive and the costs can start to add up fast. Royal Caribbean Cruise food options are extensive and some have an additional cost. How do you choose which one to spend your time and money at? Today we are sharing our Chops Grille review, which is the American Steakhouse on Royal Caribbean Cruise ships. We are going to tell you everything you need to know to decide if this restaurant is one you would want to spend your time and money at.
Chops Grille is on almost of all the Royal Caribbean Cruise ships. The theming is what you would expect from a steakhouse. There are a lot of dark woods, at one end there is a large wine cabinet, and nice large armchairs, all of which gives it an upscale feeling. At the other end of the restaurant a portion of the kitchen is open so you can see all the action. Chops Grille Royal Caribbean has an intimate feeling and is a great location for a date night.
Our Chops Grille Review would not be complete without talking about the menu. This is not the menu that you would have had in the past, Royal Caribbean Cruise food has stepped up its game and brought more of a contemporary flair. There are lots of steaks, seafood and lobster. Included in the cost is a three course meal, and you can ask for all the appetizers you want to try and desserts but only one main. We liked the menu at Chops Grille Royal Caribbean but not all the plates blew us away.

I have heard that if you ask for all the sides offered, they will bring out smaller portions for you to try, if you do prefer one in particular, they will bring more!

hey ! so the price is the flat rate, we only need to pay more if we get more than one main ? but unlimited apps and drinks (with drink passes)
Yes! We were able to get all the apps we wanted but we have never asked for more than a couple.

Thank you for ur review. Gruyère (pronounced gree-air), is not a string cheese so that explains the lack of flavour. Ashame about the Mac N Cheese lacking pizazz too. Hoping they’ll correct these sides on the Icon!!

Hi! Is this like the dinning hall? Where I order a NYC STRIP and then I also order the branzino, the extra fee $54 something per person I was wondering if I could try it all?
