@Ezra0994 I mean that was only a year after Helen passed, but at the end of the day, I don't know him so there is no judgement from my end. It must have been so hard on him and their kids.
@@Imreallyboredsickyou sound judgy after trying to explain you’re not judgy. 14 months is plenty for someone who lost his wife to cancer and watched her slowly decline. No need for us to evaluate the situation as outsiders.
Love, love, loved this episode. As ever Ange and Grimmy were the perfect hosts to their exceptional guest, Damien Lewis, not to be confused with Daniel Day 🤣. Brilliant just brilliant.
Holy Smokes! The only other Dish podcast I ever clicked this fast on was with Josh Homme (ok ok, yes, I have a thing for the Gingers 🤭). Love this! He’s such a great actor. ❤
I absolutely love how they have the most fab guests on! It’s never a really bland celebrity that’s just promoting a movie or something. Damien is so likeable and charismatic (and really hot 🥵)
Lovely to see Angela align with Waitrose but put her own spin on it. It gives the watching audience the permission, if you will, to make the dish their own. Very nice toppings, too!
30 mins flew by, could be 45 mins episodes with 2 courses every time? And a few questions about Billions wouldn't have gona amiss. Brilliant as usual though, and love Ange getting the guest in the kitchen again, although missing the Ange cam!
One of my all time favourite actors going back many many years. I also loved his wife Helen McRory as an actor for many many years and was shocked to discover quite late in the day that they were married. Obviously I’m not big on tracking actors’ social lives. I was so sorry to hear of her passing and for all of the family dealing with the loss. I must say, this was a delight to watch and also to discover that Damien is quite funny!
Angela, you have inspired me to make this risotto to woo my boyfriend who normally cooks for me. Would you please tell us more about the crunchy topping for the risotto? It doesn’t seem to be the same as what is in the online recipe. 🤨
I love this podcast so much (Nick, you're adorable) and Damian Lewis is a brilliant actor, but this episode didn't really gel for me. Bummer. Happy to see he is doing well.
Love that he is happy after his wife's passing a few years ago. Good to see him so happy
The beautiful and very talented Helen McCrory
He's been in a relationship with singer Alison Mosshart since 2022.
@@Imreallyboredsick good for them ♡♡

One of the best episodes yet! He's a phenomenal actor & definitely someone id love to have a pint & a chin-wag with ❤
A bowl of autumnal risotto and a bowl of Damian Lewis. Dreamy 😍
Damien Lewis is a national treasure
What a legend! He’s been through a lot but still has such a great sense of humour 💛 Another great Dish episode!
Ange shooing him away with a compliment and immediately belting the risotto into shape, smiling all the while.
Watching Nick twirling his hair around his finger like that whilst talking to Damian... me thinks he was a bit smitten... adorbs.
Bless him for dealing with the late great Helen's passing and glad he's doing well in life now ❤
I can't get over the fact he's actually British 😂😂😂❤ I've only ever seen him with an American accent acting
Brilliant actor, but never knew the personality behind it. He's a very charming man.
Same! I thought he was quite rigid and introspective! Never knew he was this charming and bubbly!
Love, love, loved this episode. As ever Ange and Grimmy were the perfect hosts to their exceptional guest, Damien Lewis, not to be confused with Daniel Day 🤣. Brilliant just brilliant.
I am so in love with Damian Lewis.
The first time I saw Damien Lewis was in an American show called Life. It was victim to the 2008 writer's strike. Really good show!
Totally agree! I really wish Charlie Crews got a longer storyline!
@@frazmars I just loved everything about it. I still tell myself that "one cannot be here if one is there"
Hes amazing in Band of Brothers x

Same 😂 ginger fever
@@Relatedonthate 😍😍😍
He is an exceptional actor.
His Soames Forsyte is still one of my top two favorite villain characters to this day.
I think his best performance for me! 🥰
Absolutely!! His performance still haunts me. Have watched the series 3 times, perfection.
Loved this episode! Angela, get all the guests to help you!!! ❤
How fun is he?! That was so enjoyable.
I absolutely love how they have the most fab guests on! It’s never a really bland celebrity that’s just promoting a movie or something. Damien is so likeable and charismatic (and really hot 🥵)

That’s the whole premise! 😅
Oh happy times with Dish and Damien 😘
One of my fave underrated actors. Nice show
I adore these “sit down and eat chats”, Damien Lewis is so much fun too ❤

I think Angela's got a wee crush on Damian and who could blame her #demeyes #swoon
Ange and Grimmy are so down to Earth! People who most would really like to meet.
Homeland was amazing until D.L left.
“Smells good, dunnit?!” 😂
No way! Another wonderful episode! ❤
Love Damian..& love Risotto!!....as do I love Angela & Nick is my fav. "Gay"...xxxx
I loved him in the Forsyte Saga but it never gets mentioned!!!!
Ohhhh I have to look that up. I've never heard of it ❤
@@JaneSaidWhy He's amazing in that role. The character is an awful person, really, but Lewis makes him, if not relatable, at least understandable.
Me too! It was brilliant.
Love Damian Lewis in Wolf Hall. Fabulous.
Love him in everything. He's brilliant. He's got such range as an actor.
Gosh yes! And it’s coming back for season 2 with the great Mark Rylance. Can’t wait!!

I LOVE nick and Angela!!! And Damien Lewis!!! COME ON Kisses and hugs guys , thank you!
This man really made me believe that Brutus was idd an honorable fella.
Love this man ❤
Looks like the upcoming war move is called "Pressure" and he will play Field Marshall Bernard Montgomery
Best episode yet. Anyone thinking they should do an Xmas special with Hannah waddingham😊 and Damian Lewis now?
That was a Fun episode.
He has always been the most handsome man I've ever seen ❤ Quite a dish 😉
Gorgeous and HOT!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
WINTERS!!!
Ohh i loved him in Lincoln!
Fantastic!!! ❤

Ah! The Imperial War Museum is fabulous.
What type of pumpkin did angela use? They never specified. Pumpkin is always better than butternut squash.
Ange is glowwwwwing 🥰

Entertaining podcast
Angela should upgrade to a Ralph Lauren evening, not Tommy Hilfiger who is just an RL knock off. (Who is a Brooks Brothers knock off, btw)
Dick Winters at the Imperial War Museum???
These episodes always go too quick. I’m sure they interviewed for longer make them 60 mins 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Are all the guests full episodes because it seems I can’t find Mary Berry and Ottolenghi? Someone sent me straight if I’m not finding it correctly
Full audio episodes are all on Spotify. Bur the visual episodes uploaded on YT are limited
Omg I can't believe I am the first person to comment!!😍
No dishrespect
Does anyone know what Nick says at 3:44? "It's _______, the movie." - I can't make it out
It’s “Michael Fish, The Movie”
What’s happened to the harry hill interview
I can't find the recipe!
ahhh! wow wow
Why didn't Damian touch the bruschetta? I don't think he made a single bite.
He did try it
Axelrod
So strange to hear him in his natural accent
He's becoming Gary oldman ish in his ability to hide his British
What an irritating laugh
Anges roots need sorting ! 😂
I love Angela, but please get to the hairdresser and do those roots! Or color to move toward gray!
That's says more about you than Angela - and that isn't love.
🙄
She's gorgeous the way she is, but let me ask, why do you feel affected by someone else's hair color ?
Film the Waitrose 'Big Shop' 🫶🇦🇺👍
