It's insane to me how every rank is choosing the vandal over the phantom on a challenge full of smokes
It feels for each challenge video, eggwick intentionally invites the most braindead boosted players from each rank to play as the 1 against 9 so that we watch the video till the end in hopes of seeing them win atleast once (which never happens)

Why? The Vandal can one shot which is more important in a 1v9 than not showing your tracers through smokes, especially if they can’t hit you from that range with their shorty anyways. Plus that doesn’t mean anything when the Vipers can hear where you’re shooting from too.
@@FalseF4CZ the point is the vipers play close range, so the vandal dont matter in this point the phantom can one shot too, and would outperform the vandal much better
@@MonTaSsirGD No it wouldn't considering the range of the Phantom is dogwater for one shots, the Vandal outperforms in terms of CONSISTENCY which will win more rounds than hitting for 140 and then switching to another person, then dying because you didn't kill the first one. Even if the Vipers play close range, it doesn't take away the fact that there will be situations where they will be further away and you're the only one on your team so no one can do poke damage throughout the rounds.

I honestly think fade sova or cypher is the play here. You need to find those vipers and stall them from just running at you. Also with brim you can prevent the flanks and pushes with mollies as they are faster to deploy and last longer than the ult. 2 mollies are lethal and you can send 4 mollies in the time you send 1 ult
The entire time I was just thinking "Deadlock spam ultis" until the diamond did it. But honestly, he wasnt using his ulti to check corners enough. This should be pretty easy to do, just use it to clear all corners cuz vipers with shorty will be hiding in corners.
Exactly what I was thinking. With unlimited ults and abilities, why peak corners dry. You're not supposed to do that in normal games let alone here.

I feel like fade is an underrated pick here Bcs it could cover almost all if not all of viper ult with just one use then u can use like 2 prowlers on one viper so they don’t have any shots and have to reload or can’t see. It gives you a trail and evens the playing field in health if u do push viper ult.

The answer to viper ult/smokes is intel or suppress. So either kayo, sova, fade, or perhaps the easiest raze (and just spam roombas).

Since they creep up so fast, I would say play deadlock and use the wall and sensors a lot more. Play phantom and shorty, Odin takes too long to pull out.

Unlimited deadlock ult is so spammable and it checks corners and its a direct contact ult unlike brim. Point and shoot is so important for the close encounters.
Gekko and raze are the play. boombot+ nade/ult or wingman + mush is op
Raze in the right hand is the play. You can scout with boombot and clear corners with nade. Just boombot everyhting.

Same deadlock wall all entry points and plant shotgun cant kill that long range hence get the plant fast

I believe fade and sova would get well there. Fade ultimate to get info and deaf them, prowler them, haunt them and shoot through smoke. With sova one should blindly cast things and even blindly ultimate, this would get much kills, but I think a higher elo would put more use

Considering Kayo is banned. The optimal agents to use are Cypher, Brim, and Fade. Deadlock, Breach, and Yoru are viable for it seems
Yoru is not a good pick: u know where they are but u cant do anything
Cypher u need 1 kill to know where they are for 1 tick
Deadlock is just a worse raze

Cypher would actually make this fairly easy if you can work patiently and methodically.
Trips, everywhere. Trips every few steps to hold your flanks, trips to clear corners, trips all over the goddamn place.
Camera to search Pits. Can check corners too, or bait shots which will let you spray them down from wherever they fire.
Neural Theft pings twice as of almost a year ago, and assuming you can get a single kill and make the most of your subsequent spraydowns, you'll have full map info most of the round.
Cages are really just a fancy noisemaker; use at your discretion.
Take an Odin, deal with the aggressive Vipers first, then slowly clear out everyone else.

I feel like Yoru is the play. Because Viper can't plant play attack first, even if you lose all 4 rounds you have to win the defense. Where you can spam Yoru ults, which means they can't hit you

Imo I would play Cypher here place trips everywhere place cages inside of the ults so when I hear them passing through it I spam them with Odin also if u kill one u have everyone else positions and the cam can be really useful for post plant or u can place it inside the ult

@@kiri3286 nah I agree with malek, he doesn't need to push anything, there will always be a cocky viper that peeks you, after that knowing everyone's position, you could just hunt them from afar (especially on attack since you can just rotate if they camp a place)
