1921 1 1/2 Hercules with Webster Magneto

I bought this engine almost a year ago at the Jacktown swap meet in May.
It was sitting on a bench in the garage for most of that time. Turned out to be a nice running engine after it was repaired.

How does that magneto work? Can you make seperate video for that thing?
It got my curiuse how magnets are aranged and wires how they are wound ???
I belive I culd replicate that thing Im in need for somthing similar who is solid state and self containing with out baterrys
