Please keep this sort of stuff coming ! Nothing as nice to see and hear run than a hit'n miss !
I moved one flywheel exactly like the ones on this engine. The thing is a beast, and I wouldn't doubt it weighs 400 to 500 lbs.
When that engine hits, it spins the flywheels like they're nothing.
I live in the Philippines 6 months every year and the guy who runs the motorbike store in town has one hooked up to an electrical generator for backup power.
Very very nice running Hercules love the LP I hope 2021 shows will start back up here in Illinois also love the petebilt video's Please show more engine video's
Cool old engine love em I've seen them before what would have been the original application for one of those engines
Used to get sawmill slabs for firewood it was powers with a Hercules power unit.
I like your propane setup. Nice.
Awesome Engine love these over 5hp ...just more impressive than the little ones...thanks for sharing
Really nice engine 👌
I would love to see how these engines work. Liked the lesson on what makes them work too.
Thanks man! I've seen bunch of them in museums (here in Europe) but never seen one explained and running. Cool stuff, looking forward for the other engines of yours.
Used to see a lot of those type engines running the oil Well pumping units back in the day
I have a 3 horsepower Hercules with the factory natural gas conversion , it can out of Butler Pa
When I was a kid my Grandpa had one of these to run a vacuum pump .
I wonder how rare? I read in a 1994 Gas Engine Magazine comment they felt there were 26 known 12HP engines at that time - there could be more that have surfaced by now. There is only 1 that is a documented 14HP that I know of, they have the 14HP listed in the sales literature but it appears only 1 has surface. Production numbers show that only about 1% of the engines were 12HP. It is interesting that it appears to be the original paint without any pin striping evident. Also it appears there is evidence of gold paint on the ends of the Webster magneto.......I am cleaning up my mag and found traces of gold paint on them.
What RPM would these typically be run at and how often would they need to fire? Thanks
Ik have the 12 HP to. Check my RUclips. Zuigerspeling
