    I moved one flywheel exactly like the ones on this engine. The thing is a beast, and I wouldn't doubt it weighs 400 to 500 lbs.
    When that engine hits, it spins the flywheels like they're nothing.

    I live in the Philippines 6 months every year and the guy who runs the motorbike store in town has one hooked up to an electrical generator for backup power.

    Used to get sawmill slabs for firewood it was powers with a Hercules power unit.

    Thanks man! I've seen bunch of them in museums (here in Europe) but never seen one explained and running. Cool stuff, looking forward for the other engines of yours.

    I wonder how rare? I read in a 1994 Gas Engine Magazine comment they felt there were 26 known 12HP engines at that time - there could be more that have surfaced by now. There is only 1 that is a documented 14HP that I know of, they have the 14HP listed in the sales literature but it appears only 1 has surface. Production numbers show that only about 1% of the engines were 12HP. It is interesting that it appears to be the original paint without any pin striping evident. Also it appears there is evidence of gold paint on the ends of the Webster magneto.......I am cleaning up my mag and found traces of gold paint on them.
