- With the Final Shape marking the end of the light and darkness saga in Destiny 2, Luke Smith having interesting wording in the showcase, and some interesting leaks. Destiny 3 feels like it's coming now more than ever, so today I gave my opinion on What Will Be In Destiny 3.

Things that should be in Destiny 3.

I want Destiny 3. Destiny 2 has become too stale. The same gameplay mechanics and gameplay loops for 10 years, and I think it's time they completely evolve the kind of looter shooter Destiny is. We need an updated engine, different game design, and improved loot chase. I don't think that's something they'd be willing to overhaul in Destiny 2 or if they'd even be able to with the limits of the current version of the Tiger engine.
I agree with you on destiny 2 shouldn’t transfer to 3, absolutely needs to feel new
And as always, go have fun with yourself. the main problem I have with getting destiny three is that I know if we keep the same higher ups in the company, we'll get a 6th hung jury, a 3rd recluse, a third spare rations. every gun that they milked for nostalgia, they are going to do it again.

Campaigns need repayable missions in certian categories and playlists.

Yeh D3 NEEDS a clean cut - NO carry over... NEW or UPDATED engine and NOT need to reply on ANYTHING previous to have this clean cut. NO weapons or armor etc. NOTHING - ALL left behind in D2... so what - its like any new game clean fresh start. This allows engine to not be tied to any shite etc. fully next gen and anyone with a problem with this... IS the problem... People still play D1 - so go back and play D2... D3 NEEDS be new and if its is NOT then imo its not even worth it. We will get the best benefits of everything then - engine, fresh start, fresh systems - complete point in which everyone can join and start together again... new characters... oh but, my titan or oh but my *sniff weapon I GRINDED for - yeh you did and... its STILL there in D2... but, this is NEW game with NEW weps and armor etc. etc. This NEEDS to happen!
We need more in-depth character customization and for those who don't want to spend time perfecting a character they should keep the simple character creation but have an advanced option for more in depth creation

Destiny 3 should NOT be in a cod like situation
If we do get d3 I heavily expect it to have a really rough first year with little content like d1 and d2 did. The only reason the were able to release d2 with as much content I'd did have at launch was because they had Activision and 2 other studios making the majority of the destinations for them in year 1. There's also the issue of the initial campaign and how many destinations there would be. The first campaigns for d2 and d1 were both structured in a way that introduced the player to all the enemies and all the planets, and that usually came at the cost of the story. Will d3 have 1 planet or 4 like the other 2? Will d3s story focus on 1 to 2 destinations like every good destiny expansion or will it warp its story in such a way so that they're able to have it take place across 4 planets?
lol Destiny only has 3 playable class in the game, and it's been 10 years.
They do need to fix the fps thing though, probably having the game with a minimum of 60fps would help.

I agree. No stuff carried over. I hope its a fresh new game, with new engine and new assets. Imagine if destiny 3 is like FF14 online or Elder scrolls online.

honestly i think we should have a new guardian, but i disagree with playing as different races, as imo it would mess with the whole "guardian" thing. everything else tho i agree on
I don’t even Consider playing destiny3 unless ALL my cosmetic gear transfers over. Because a full “wipe” after 10,000 hours FEELS LIKE A CUNTSLAP IN THE FACE!!!!!
D3 if it happens should be a fresh working engine update or a new engine just not Unreal, it looks good but way overused and can be done wrong, bettter server stability and load balancing, open world but not halo infinite style, just more mmo style, and no time gates, helth gates or any gates. Just release content and let it be. Let us farm dungeons and raids when we want not on a 6 week rotation.
Edit: Curcible if they cannot separate the sandboxes should be a separate launcher, loot passes between the two but then it's two sandboxes a pve and a pvp, when you switch your gear is there but it works with however it's balanced for that mode two teams two sandboxes not being interrupted by each other's updates.
