Still going strong in 2023. Never let these boys dissappear from memory
Love this video! I'm sure they would approve. RIP lads.
I just found out about them thanks to CBS News. It's sad that they had to die before they got the attention they deserved! R.I.P. :'(
😢😢😢😥😥
You guys need to cover this!
lol
Scuti hate to break it there dead
Anyone here in 2019, legends never die
Remembered about this band about a month ago as I've recently got back into Indi/pop-punk

2020 bby
Anyone still here? They deserve so much more attention....
In Sweden some of the locals told a different story - they were destined for greatness thats for sure
what comment
Me!
I've heard this song on the radio a few times!
@@irisley_ Yeah I know! That's when they got a lot of attention all of a sudden but a few months later all the new "fans" were gone again....and now something similar happened to the band "Her's" 😢😢😢😢
the music industry (scratch that, the whole world) is a lesser place without viola beach. rest in peace lads, gone but never forgotten.
so true.
Why gone?
David Carvajal They all died in a car accident
@@mrappear8835 OMG!
What a pitiful comment. Posted to garner fake likes.
The band were on the verge of breakthrough. To say that the whole world is a worse place without their music is overstating it wildly. These guys were at the very start of their professional careers.
I’m sorry, but there is NO way your comment is authentic. If this same accident were to have happened to seasoned band before their fourth album released, I could understand the sentiment. But you were very much jumping on the bandwagon.
Still listening in 2024. RIP lads.
same here bro
me too, love them
😢
❤
Yessir😢
SHE SAID THAT TOGETHER WE COULD TAKE ON THE WORLD
What are you doing?
she told me she likes boys who can sing so I learnt how to sing
And she told me I would never find another girl... LIKE HER

Britpop Soul NO
A band with so much promise, taken far too soon.
can't listen to this without a lump in my throat
Jack one of the members is my cousin I miss him so much
I know jack as well
He definitely helped to create a great album.
Sorry for your loss.
Thanks I miss him so much
ERDTaken In Hello friend
I'm really sorry Jack and the band died, life can be so shit sometimes. I hope that you can take some consolation that Viola Beach have been recognised for their brilliance, sadly after the tragic death of them all. As a relative of Jack it must be nice to know that you knew and loved him and, remember, you share the gene pool that made Jack what he was. Indignious Americans believe no man is dead as long as you can speak their name. To that I say I love you and "Viola Beech" forever. Very best and warmest regards, Jeff
Sometimes I hate RUclips comments. No, you don't HAVE to like Viola Beach just because they have died. Yes, people are allowed to say that they don't like this song. However, all these comments from people saying they are "glad they are dead" because the song isn't good are a bit much. Chill the fuck out, guys.
My only regret is that they never covered I Crashed My Car Into the Bridge.
+SeekingTruth2014 not nice
This was wonderful, i bet they'd all be incredibly proud and touched by this video. Brilliant song, rest well lads ❤️
I was sitting on a dock with my family and friends and one of my neighbours put on a song. I was intrigued by what i was hearing. I asked him who it was and he told me, Viola Beach. Even the name of the band fascinated me. He then told me what happened and i couldn't believe it. That is so so sad, I sometimes wonder about life and why bad things happen to good people. I love every song by this band. I could picture thousands and thousands of people in the crowd at one of their shows singing "And she said that together we can take on the world!" with them and louder than ever. I am so grateful to know and love there music. I hope they are still making music up in heaven, may they all rest in peace
it's more or less what happend me so I totally agree!
They did!!! The crowd sang!!! Check out Coldplay at Glastonbury singing Viola Beach… the crowd truly sang and it was beautiful! 🥹❤️
" Mummy... Why do all the nicest people die first"
" If you went out into a garden which ones would you pick"
" The nicest ones "
" Exactly " rip guys xx
Very true, see what happened to Christina Grimmie... :-(
+CiaoWeb Don't forget Mike Mohede, Tom Searle (Architects), Matt Roberts (3 Doors Down) etc.
Speaking of which, RIP all of them and Viola Beach 😞.
+DevilsHQ9 tom😢
sarah bidgood
What little kid asks their mummy that?
None.
Shuddddup it's nonsense and disrespectful.
Life is life.
The manager wanted them dead.
Only explanation , isn't it?
Alexander Marshall well, I actually did. When I was a kid I saw that most of the nicest people died, so I asked my mum the same thing
This still brings tears to my eyes😭🖤
Same!😥❤
Just learning about this band. What a sad tragedy. I live in the US and am admittedly late to the party on some bands across the pond.
What a loss! What an amazingly cool, crisp sound. Thanks for leaving this world with something beautiful and perfect. 😢
Beautiful song. Taken too early boys but you left a mark ❤
This is fantastic, such a great tribute to the guys, I like how you did certain things significantly, such as the umbrella in colour etc... to represent certain things from the band, I'm sure the guys would be really proud and hope this video absolutely smashes it all over, let's hope the album gets to number one for the friends and family of the band also, however either way, I think they'll all be proud regardless, RIP Viola Beach & Craig.
thank you mate my cousin was together with Kris xx
+charlie mcquillan sending you love and good vibes!! 🙏🏼
+Robbie Glover thank you so so much I really miss them
charlie mcquillan Yeah I can imagine Charlie ... much love to you!! :-)
I can't help listening to this without a heavy heart. I was in a band around the same age as them and it was a great time. I can only imagine the excitement and the laughs they had together, especially as they were seen as an up and coming band. My band never quite made it that far, but I went on to find love, get married to a wonderful women and have two beautiful daughters, an experience that these lads are forever barred. We can only wonder what the future would have held for them, and all we can do is listen to their music and enjoy the small legacy they left behind as a tribute to them all. R.I.P lads, I'm so very sorry that this tragedy happened to you.
5 years without you but still in our thoughts!
I'll never forget to play these now and again. Fuck me they would of been massive! Rest in peace lads
Yes mate 100% 👍
These lads were so so good!!they would of been huge stars Rip all of you!!
Have the lyrics stay with me you're bittersweet tattooed on me in memory of these glorious boys, lucky enough to see them at there last UK show, where River knew who I was from the last gig they did I was at, and Jack laughed at me and my friend dancing, then came to spoke to us, I'll never forget that evening, my fav band of all time, the only comforting thing is to know so many people are enjoying their music now.
2 seconds in and I was already bursting out with tears 😭 ❤️❤️❤️ RIP MY BEAUTIES
Sophie Turner these guys would have been a big band but it HAD TO END i why it had to happen

She's a rhino, she's a wino
She's a tightrope, we'll be fine though
Singing woah-oh-oh-oh,
What do they knooo-ow?
She's a libra, and I need her
The Monalisa, would wanna be her
Singing woah-oh-oh-oh
What do they knooo-ow?
And she said that together we could take on the world
And she told me that I'll never find another girl like her
She's in lycra, but I don't like her
She's a tiger, but not as violent
Singing woah-oh-oh-oh,
What do they knooo-ow?
She's a weirdo, and a lido
She's a beer girl, and she's cheerful
Singing woah-oh-oh-oh,
What do they knooo-ow?
And she said that together we could take on the world
And she told me that I'd never find another girl like her
And she said that together we could do anything
And she told me that she loves a boy who knows how to sing,
So I learnt how to sing
She's a rhino, she's a wino
She's a tightrope, we'll be fine though!
And she said that together we could take on the world
And she told me that I'd never find another girl like her
And she said that together we could do anything
And she told me that she loves a boy who knows how to sing,
So I learnt how to sing
sadly, ive only just discovered this band, such good music, R.I.P boys x
This is great! Love how they have incorporated their home town Warrington in there. Brilliant sound 😍
These guys had a bright future ahead of them. Too bad they died😪 rest in peace viola beach
RIP lads your music will live on forever and you will be remembered ❤️🧡💛💜💚💙
Excellent song. Such a loss to the world. Nice one Coldplay for getting them some deserved recognition. Looking forward to listening to the album. Peace and love to the Viola Beach families.
These lads deserve the amount of views as gagnamstyle you feel ???
Wait, so I find a great song and learn about the unfortunate accident. This is too sad. I'm not here because of Coldplay. I just found this in the suggestions and knew about it through the comments. 😭
They remind me of Foals a lot but a bit more 'POP' if that makes sense. Genuinely like the song and the Coldplay tribute left me with a lump in my throat. Who knows where this band could be in a few years if they were alive. Music has a way of kicking me in the feels, especially music created in life and heard in death.
1
Yeah the backing music sounds like foals
I ❤️ it..I wish you were still with us lads.........😔......Thank you for the tunes you left behind.Miss you, love all the way from Greece
this song and this band would've been so massive. i miss you guys so so much. thank you for giving the world a piece of you before you left
Im from Warrington and have lived there all my life, it feels like a bleacher place without these lads around to give it something to shout about, miss you boys ❤️
Great song. Great album. proud Warringtonian. Number one in the album chart. RIP Guys
Okay so I only found their music a few months ago and have been curious about new music/a potential tour....... then I googled them and read about their deaths and when I say I'm heartbroken you better believe it. They deserved so much more ❤❤
Sounds like a song that should be on fifa tbh
Yes
Like maybe not now but like fifa 17
This band will forever have a place in my heart

Rest in sweet peace, actually broke my heart when I found out. This song has gotten me through so much ❤️
These guys were on the cusp of amazing success. Such talent and the world is a poorer place for their passing.
Such a shame hearing your story on glastonbury coldplay did a great tribute rip guys ❤✌🏻
Not one bad track on the album. I hope one day, some demos they’d made surface. They still deserve so much more notice

Same, still some of my favourite comfort songs 😢
I heard this song , loved it and sent it my son aka my gig partner and we were hoping to see them .Then I heard the news and omg as a mum I can only imagine how their parents and loved ones felt 😪....such a shame. And always as a brilliant song, it iwill on my playlist ❤️
One of the Best young bands in the World! 💫💙💗🌈💨🍕⚡
strange this band popped up in my head again. the only thing i ever knew was, that they died. and it makes me somehow horrorbly sad. they had so mutch ahead of them and could've become so successfull
So tragic and painful way to find out this amazing band...
4 years today... you would have been massive by now boys. RIP, forever missed
I heard of these guys a long while ago, I even saw them live a few times these guys were honestly going to be the biggest band in the world. It's a shame the best of people die. Rip guys, hope you're jamming to music up there
Best song ever, timeless and memories live on!! Talent never fades RIP lads. Hugs ✨✨✨✨✨
Only found this band recently, really heartbroken about what happened, so much potential and energy. Rest in peace boys , you were onto big things :(
I saw some local bands tonight and for a moment I remembered this song, and it was so beautiful, makes you think how big they could've been, what a great band ♥ RIP
A song that makes you feel a different kinda way, forever a fave. Rest in peace lads🕊💞
Never listened to them really until now. But I've been thinking about them since I heard the news. This song really makes me think about life. Take care out there everyone and enjoy every minute because you never know when your journey will change direction. Love from Sweden.
Great tribute!! I love it. 😃
In 2024 still in my memory...

I miss them so bad...
Imagine how big they'd be now if they were still here.
Those poor guys! So sad 😞
Just found out about them yesterday and i got really excited about them, wanted to share them with everyone, go to a concert etc. I just found out they died and it's just such a mindtwist and weird situation. Now I just want them to come back and can't believe that they're not going to
Tragic, tragic loss to our great heritage of home grown talent. Sure Glastonbury 2017 would have had a different line up! R.I.P. You'll are sadly missed.
Still love this song. Gone but never forgotten. Rip x
I still think about you guys. God bless you. This is one of my favorite songs :)
4 years ago today... RIP boys 💜
Love this video and I'm sure the boys would too! RIP viola beach and Craig! True legends! Your missed so much x
I remember driving across country on Feb 13 2016 in a snow blizzard, seeing cars in ditches. I drove from Chicago to Boston that day. So many cars had spun out and crashed. I must have slid 6 times. I almost died several times that night. When I got to my room at 3am I passed out and woke up the next morning, Feb 14 on my birthday. I remember turning on the news that morning and hearing that the entire band had died in a car crash due to weather conditions. I was overcome with a huge feeling of sadness on my birthday. I played "Swings and Waterslides" all day that day. Two years later I had completely forgotten about the incident, and I am sitting at the table with my friend on Feb 13 2018 listening to my old RUclips playlist...and on TV, the news reports that the Commander of the police in Chicago was shot dead. At that exact moment, Swings and Waterslides starts playing on my playlist. I kept asking myself, "Why is this song so familiar? I haven't heard it in years. It was as if Kris' voice speaking directly to me. I can't even explain it. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks. The song was from Viola Beach. So then, of course I'm playing the song all day on my birthday again for 2018, then I hear that they shot up the school in Florida. I got so upset about all the negative energy surrounding my Valentine's day birthday, so I went to the History Channel website and did the research for Feb 13 and 14, and realized that they are both days full of tragedies. In fact, St Valentine was actually killed on this day. Theodore Roosevelt lost his mom and daughter on this day. The St Valentines Day Massacre. So many tragedies happen on this day. But the main theme is to find love in the midst of so much tragedy. That is why St Valentine was killed. Because he was still marrying couples during a time when weddings were illegal. He still believed in the spirit of love even though it was illegal to marry, and it got him killed on Feb 14. Every year there is a tragedy on my birthday. But the music from this band and Kris' voice makes my heart dream of love and I will play these songs on my birthday for the rest of my life. This band means so much to me.
cool story, where would you like your medal sending too ?
I'm 61 and I love this song .. Makes me so sad... Too young to be dead they should still be here...
3 years ago today RIP
It's been a year now and I still listen to this band everyday. They we're one of my favorite bands and i'm so sad their life got taken away😔
R.I.P🌻💛
Was never a sound I liked too much.. that's not a criticism! But 1 thing for sure I think the lads had a big future. Very recognizable sound I can tell its them just hearing a few seconds of a track. Sad loss. Keep playing there music!! X

I didn’t realise until last month that it was the band that sung this song, then I got sad because I remembered that last year there was a car accident that they sadly passed away in.
I can't believe I didn't know they were dead till a month after first hearing about them. Love You all, Rest In Peace Lads
RIP guys . Reminds me of Hacienda indie night..Not forgotten
I didn't know them, but when I saw coldplay performing them in the Glastonbury festival I will never stop to listen this song.
