Regarding inspiration: in my personal survival world I've started doing what you do in making regions for things (mining area, farming region, city, ect) and also having multiple storages for different block categories around my world, and it makes the game so much more fun, I find I'm not burning out like I used too and it gives me more chances to expirement with different styles and block palettes 🙇🏼♀️
Me too! It's made the game so much more fun. It actually forces me to slow down a bit and I've realized that I love terraforming because of it. Terraforming was always so daunting, but I just started breaking and placing blocks, trying to get the builds "right" in the space around them, and now it's one of my favorite parts of the game! I was also inspired by PyreMarten (great recommendation, btw, sad she's taking a break), in her "higglety-pigglety" way of storing her blocks. I really like having my storage just piled around everywhere like she does. It looks so much more "real" in the world.
I did actually build a fairly close copy of your starter house (not totally 100% not far off either). I’m not sharing my build with anyone and it’s only one house incorporated my village. But it has a sign with your name, your build/episode date and a dog that is named after your dogs. As a sort of reminder/thanks for getting me inspired to build again. I honestly can’t tell why this building clicked for me but thanks! So yeah difficult topic, and understandable how it can get frustrating fairly quick… And creative can’t really exist in a vacuum! Everyone is inspired in some way, that’s probably another layer why it makes it ever harder to differentiate between those two words. That and how most player aren’t from the art scene, which had centuries to mature and have a better understanding of this (and no I’m not implying that art theft isn’t a major problem either)
Hey fwhip love they creation of they city, but will you make a video of the lore of the city or even they world, also I love the build that you make and the colors that you use but how do you choose the colors for the buildings
With the talk about inspiration, I know I tend to get inspired but so many things as well as just get ideas for insane builds. Your builds do inspire me, and like you mentioned "... not copying the builds by every block, but adding your own foundation or color..." I try to do that. I use similar colors to my builds, but I have a hard time texturing. I play on a realm with some friends and I'm the main builder because that's what I love most about Minecraft. I wish I could share my builds that I've done with you, but I'm not entirely sure how or if you'd be interested lol. But I love your videos!! ❤
Speaking of giving credit - I still feel like you should credit dukonred1 for that inn you build way back in 2021 :D It wasn't a block by block copy (his version was using modded blocks anyway) but still very closely inspired. The video is titled "The FIRST Village Building : Hardcore Minecraft 1.17 Survival" ;)
I think your city is lacking life with moving entities like villagers ig you can add them and with a texture pack that adds alot of variations for them like different skins or something?
I have a Minecraft world that I have been working 3 to 4 days but I am using Pojavlauncher for android because I don't have a pc my world reset but I have all my items in my inventory but the houses that I built is gone
I know when it comes to minecraft I tend to use "based on a build by" instead of "inspired by" , especially when the build is like... just modified from the original design instead of taking a technique from it and apply it to a fully new build
Ive really enjoyed watching how youve put this world together. Its very inspiring to me as I am playing around with the same kind of thing and its nice to see all the different kinds of builds you have
The segment with the copying/inspiration is kinda the same as using cheats/mods, like just be upfront? Like "oh dudes fWhip recently made this build and it was so ---buzzword--- that i HAD to have it in my world!! And look how good it looks here!!" Like do what you want but stop trying to be sneaky about it
Fwhip, I know you love storytelling in your world. With storytelling, one thing I always thought was a cool concept was dedicating a town or village to iron golems and/ or allys. It would allow for unique architecture that kind of defies the normal logic of two or three tall doors, or even just give some lore to where these creatures came from. I wonder what your thought is on using and redefining these in-game characters and using them to tell a story in a different way would be? What is your opinion on using existing mobs as different species or characters in your world other than just for practical applications/ farming?
as u were talkin ab inspired i got inspired by the windows lol i like scaffolding windows but then mobs go in, ima put glass behind em like how u did in my next house prob lol
That huge tree and mountain are mega builds, town or village builds are more sprawling builds that can be build bit by bit from my perspective Both mega and sprawling builds can have law and be integrated with the landscape. And both can be a lot of work. Just my thoughts
Your base is different than your builds in my opinion… Your base includes all your mats, craftables, blah blah blah in one place, stuff you need to put in your inventory I guess? You have a whole bunch of city and village and fields I wouldn’t consider part of my “base” just some awesome builds But idk just my opinion. Love your stuff❤
😹😹😹😹😹😹 I'm feeling inspired 😅 I couldn't copy a build even if I had Fwhip explaining it to me 🙈 now inspiration , completely ... I tried to create that tree shrine ... I couldn't even make a circle 😅
Your world isn’t just a Megabase, it is a MEGAWORLD
Regarding inspiration: in my personal survival world I've started doing what you do in making regions for things (mining area, farming region, city, ect) and also having multiple storages for different block categories around my world, and it makes the game so much more fun, I find I'm not burning out like I used too and it gives me more chances to expirement with different styles and block palettes 🙇🏼♀️

Fwhip, watching ur videos is inspiring enough for me 😎 sometimes I’ll listen to a bunch of your videos as im just building away
Perfect vid for me today, I just finished a section of my village and now I need some more inspiration let’s gooo 👏
Does your plan for the swamp include making a perimeter and building a icy mountain on top of it? :P

fWhip! omg hahah Maple Nate! not Maple Tate! but thank you so much for responding!
I never realized how close fwip was to day 6000.
I use your color pallete in the builds but the roof is more on Oriental style coz i wanna challenge myself on decorating exterior
Awesome video! Thank you for your inperation Fwip :)
QUESTION : Why don't you build a custom forest, that is slowly being cut down, to store wood, I love that your starter base still keeps wood.
I love your style and story telling
Make your end portal an open air/Indian step well, mine looks insane
How do you know what block and shapes to use in your buildings and other stuff
For day 6000 can you show the entire world in all its glory 😊
New pyprus
I think your city is lacking life with moving entities like villagers ig you can add them and with a texture pack that adds alot of variations for them like different skins or something?
Actually Lets plays are growing again thanks to those playing legacy versions of minecraft
How do you work color more into builds? I struggle with not always using grays, blacks, and browns. Sometimes I can add foliage to help, but still.
I would add colored windows or make like an attic space out of a colored block or you could add different colored doors
Great vid 😢 pls make minecraft build toturials
I have a Minecraft world that I have been working 3 to 4 days but I am using Pojavlauncher for android because I don't have a pc my world reset but I have all my items in my inventory but the houses that I built is gone
🤭🤭 I’m going to tell Grian
Where do we leave comments for the comment of the day? This channels video or the main channel video?
I grab comments from both sections :)
@@fWhipTwo Ah, makes sense! Thanks for the reply!!🙃
I couldn't copy your style if i tryed
Last comment. I play conquest on bedrock.
Have you made ships? I like ships .
In the harbour episode on papyrus! There's quite a few ships :)
I know when it comes to minecraft I tend to use "based on a build by" instead of "inspired by" , especially when the build is like... just modified from the original design instead of taking a technique from it and apply it to a fully new build
Grian won't be able to get a tan with all that shade

Well done my Friend I believe this is an important accomplisment
I have an idea, what if there was a location where the monsters come from, a place of danger that unites each civilisation together against?
end portal project-stream project
seeing you rebuild a whole swamp would be so dope, maybe the goblins live in the swamp
That huge tree and mountain are mega builds, town or village builds are more sprawling builds that can be build bit by bit from my perspective

about that mega base, I saw a youtuber building hogwarts and it just did not look good because it did not look good with the terrain.
I love your comment of the day videos. What an awesome way to engage with the community!

I need the world download with this episode!!!
Best entertainment while cooking
Words are important, as well as understanding what the definitions are. This is a good discussion.
😹😹😹😹😹😹 I'm feeling inspired 😅 I couldn't copy a build even if I had Fwhip explaining it to me 🙈 now inspiration , completely ... I tried to create that tree shrine ... I couldn't even make a circle 😅
