As for the discussion at the very end, about choosing to do smaller projects when you want to do them and taking a break from other projects...thats exactly how I play. I have multiple cities going on right now throughout my world and I just choose to work on the city and the building that interests me at the moment. I force nothing...now that does lead to situations where I have a huge ravine bridge that is 90% complete...but I just don't want to do the detailing work underneath it. So I havent...for months...i should probably do that.

Hi Fwhip, love and appreciate your hard work. I had idea for an add on for your big mountain/ terraforming project. Maybe using a river that would likely be covered up, maybe use it as a basis for a cave river way. The cave could serve as a path for small boats to pass underneath the huge mountain range for travel and trade, and could be a it own little realm underground with lots vines and drip stone hanging down, and possibly somewhere along the way there could be a hidden settlement that is built along the cave rivers wall/banks. Could be a little magical boat ride and give a whole new dimension to the mountain! Keep up the good work.:)

I think it's really important not only to avoid comparing yourself to others, but also to share it with other people. Every time I play in a minecraft world I want to create a big village and all that good stuff, but the only worlds I've managed to get even close were the worlds I played with other people.
I had a period of time when I would always hop on a creative minecraft server that my friends had, and after a while I found a space that I felt really inspired to work on. I did most of the general terraforming and built a couple buildings that were pretty cool and I was experimenting and all that, and that probably would have been where the inspiration fell off if not for friends coming over and naming my cats and telling me my buildings were cool and that something like this would be cool here and that kind of thing. It really kicked up my inspiration again, and I added probably all of the other ideas I had for that place, and more after that. That was the first time I had enough inspiration to create a whole village, and I even made a mountain with it. It was very satisfying, especially seeing the map of the place afterwards.
Unfortunately the friend group kind of fell apart and I stopped playing on the server, and it was an aternos server so it got deleted when no one played on it. I have screenshots of that place because it's precious to me with the number of memories that I have of it and the accomplishment of being able to say I finished a village (even if I probably would have kept adding things to it).
The village consisted of the first two houses (which were utterly pointless except for messing around with block palettes), my house with a tower attached that I did a decent interior for, a home for a stone-mason, some stalls for horses and donkeys, a stream running through the middle, a house even bigger than my house that I somehow finished with an interior that was for a cartographer + an artist + had an epic boombox in the attic that a friend made for me. It also had a library and woodcutting workshop, and most important to me, a graveyard for my cat. There were a lot of custom trees in that village and it's still my biggest accomplishment in minecraft. I'll top it someday.

Hi Fwhip. I’m on a server and one of my friends uses blender to sculpt terrain and big structures. Have you thought about using blender or how do you not let it get to you that you’re doing it by hand and taking a long time while they’re knocking out build after build? Thank you for your wonderful content! ❤

What do you think about making a series about visiting your subscriber's worlds, so you can help them to not being embarassed about their building abilities, the scale of their projects and you can give some building advices in very different enviroments. I saw something similar in another youtuber's channel, and I thout about you doing something like this because of the nature of the questions on this channel.

Hey FWhip! I'm a really massive builder, and I'm constantly taking inspiration from your videos! Unfortunately, I just can't build in singleplayer, because not only do I struggle with the early-to-midgame grind, I struggle to build on a world that's not a multiplayer server, as I don't seem to be able to get any enjoyment out of builds that I can't show to my friends. Do you have any tips for how you manage to build so much, even in singleplayer? Thank you!

Several things I've had to remind myself of over the years to help me keep having fun: A) No one is keeping score of what I do or do not do in a world. B) Comparing my early game to someone else's late game is insane. C) Playing Minecraft isn't my job, which has both its downsides and its upsides.

I think it would be cool if New Papyrus lay in something of a river delta, as there are three rivers converging nearby, meaning the amount of water flowing into the sea would be pretty huge. It would look great to transform the city into something of a 'desert Venice' with various canals, streams and branches of the river cutting through it

Hi fwhip! Love your content so far!
I started my own minecraft youtube channel since last year.
With a full time job that includes possible overtime and other IRL stuff it is hard to produce the same content level as a full time youtuber.
I'm actually amaze that you guys can motivate yourselves to continue building after so many years of playing minecraft.
And that also helps me continuing what I like to do with my series regardless of the pacing I produce.
Thank you so much for being one of my inspirations.

Hey FWHIP? I really love lengthy building session videos, so if there was a way for you to put out an alternate video of the struggles and thoughts of the builds as you plan them, I think a lot of people and builders like myself would really like that. But of course, it would take longer, so I understand if it’s not an option. You are amazing and your builds are stunning.

I really liked your comment, on building and segmenting things into smaller projects. I do that all the time, I make music and I am writing a book. So I focus on small wins and progress, then stand back to see how far I've come and the journey I've been through. I think in another life, I would've done minecraft youtube as a carreer, I just felt called towards making music, writing and studying psychology. Who know's where life will take me.
