People usually dislike the opening of Kaiju no.8 because it is 100% made in CGI, and I feel like people should stop the blind hate on CGI. The opening is beautiful, there's nothing to complain about. There's on shot in particular that I feel can only be as good as it is in CGI
I think the first watch when it shows the 3D Kaiju it catches people off guard. But you are so right it is so beautiful (for me especially the start of it)
I’d recommend reacting to another similar video that isn’t a biased list, called “100 top streamed anime songs”. It’s updated for 2024 and lists songs based on the number of streams they have on sites like Spotify. Think you might be interested to see which songs are actually listened to the most, since a couple in the list were surprising
5:35 83 Mekakucity Actors: one of the most strange, yet good one. this anime have a good story, but really hard to understand (there are things to read/watch before fully understanding the anime) 22:23 17 Inuyashiki: Please, do a reaction to it!
Yeah I came to make that same assessment, I was expecting it to show in the top 5 but got blue balled. Huge recency bias in this list. The maker must've begun anime on 2010
One important thing to keep in mind is the original video is called "MY Top 100 Anime Opening of All Time" not "THE TOP 100 Anime Openings OF ALL TIME!" like it is here. It's not a garbage list, it's just what one person likes.
My top 10 in a random order is Ancient Magus bride - Here - Junna Sengoku Youko - Hibana - Mindaryn Zom 100 - Song of the dead - Kana-Boon I'm quitting heroing - Broken Identity - Minori Suzuki Ranking of Kings - Naked Hero - Vaundy Oshi no Ko - Idol - Yoasobi Your Lie in April - Hikaru Nara - Goose House Apothacary Diaries - Be a Flower- Ryokuoushoku Shakai My Hero Academia - Odd Future - Uverworld The Rising of the Shield hero - Rise - Madkid I really think that Sengoku Youko and I'm quitting heroing are real stand outs to me.
If you want to watch gintama just keep in mind that it is a commitment. There are some dry periods throughout it but most of it is really funny and some are more serious. I personally loved Gintama. It’s funny, you grow attached to the characters 🥲 and everyone has such interesting stories.
Sentences to expect when watching G.O.T Games : - "Kill la kill is one of my brother's favorite opening" - "I love Fire force op1 but op2 is so much better to me"
My top 10: 1: "Rumbling" - Attack on Titan OP (anime version) 2: "Idol" - Oshi no ko OP (full version) 3: "When the weak go marching" - Idaten deities OP 4: "Deadman wonderland" - Deadman wonderland (uncensored) 5: "Sasageyo" - Attack on titan OP3 6: "Yofukashi no uta" - Call of the night ED 7: "Shinda" - The legendary hero is already dead 8: "My war" - Attack on Titan s4 OP 9: "Jaeger" Attack on Titan OP1 10: "Hero" - One punch man S1 (I especially love the english cover by Jonathan Young) Sucks that I almost never see the Idaten Deities opening in top lists, it's SOOOOO damn good.
Summertime Render is incredible, and I can't recommend it enough. And I love how unique the opening is, with very simple visuals that I assume are to intentionally avoid spoilers.
(I will forever appreciate Kuma, because Kuma has watched Golden Kamuy, therefore, Golden Kamuy gets on lists that Kuma makes. it saddens me how many others have simply not seen Golden Kamuy.)
@@Pathetic-Ali it's very good! it has 4 seasons at 12 episodes each, so 48 episodes total, with 4 OVAs. basic premise: it's set in the early 1900s and follows the story of Sugimoto Saichi, a veteran from the Russo-Japanese war. the story starts after the war, when he goes to Hokkaido to try and make some money (so he can support the wife of his childhood friend, who served in the army with him, and died in battle), and that's when he hears a tale about a massive cache of gold that was stolen from the Ainu people, and hidden somewhere in Hokkaido. the man who stole it was sent to a maximum security prison, where he was tortured by the army, yet never gave up the gold's location. instead, he tattooed coded instructions on the skins of 24 of his fellow inmates. all the tattoos are necessary to find the gold, and soon after they were completed, the prisoners staged an escape. so now all of these crazy criminals are scattered throughout Hokkaido, each with a piece of the puzzle, and the army is definitely already after the treasure themselves. that's when Sugimoto meets Asirpa... an Ainu girl whose father was guarding the gold, and was killed when it was stolen. she and Sugimoto team up and decide to look for it themselves, with Sugimoto only wanting a small cut to send back home. from there, everything goes absolutely bonkers. the story has an excellent dramatic plot full of action, high stakes, and twists that are implemented very effectively... but it's also hilarious, and chaotic, and insane. plus there's a lot of really well researched information about Ainu culture, with a surprisingly heavy emphasis on cooking. I've actually heard it get compared to Dungeon Meshi for that reason, despite the vast differences in the setting. it's got that kind of ragtag crew/ensemble cast feel, and can be surprisingly wholesome, considering how often it's also not wholesome at all.😅

Yoooo! Mekakucity Actors/Kagerou Project mentioned! That show and it's acompanying song series are soooo underrated! It's a rare treat to see it show up in an opening tear list!
We need to start numbering these videos cause they blend together after so many. XD You should also start focusing more on 'Best Anime Openings of 20xx' vids as alot of these top 100 end up putting a lot of the same openings up and alot of the smaller anime sort of get forgotten.
Gawd daym this list was GOATed, good find! I treat this top 100s usually not as a competition, not an actual top, but just list of authors 100 fav songs.
It's amazing, but for me it's Long shot. Remember how long we waited for that opening and then it came out of nowhere on episdoe S2 ep19 ? I was SOOO Hyped then and still love it (i love all songs/soundtracls of Re:Zero too)
Memento is probably my favorite anime ED of all time. It’s just so atmospheric to me… It’s especially dear to me because I was in Japan while season 2 was airing during Covid and being in a confined to a hotel for months I was really only looking forward to Re:Zero. It almost makes me cry every time I hear this song.
Angel Beats is actually a very unique story, so it's hard to guess with just the visuals. The title is actually the best hint at what the show is about.
I think that the english opening should be reviewed, yeah. The tunes are different than the japanese ones, and good on their own. I'll also recommand Pokemon movies' theme song. Like " "Brother My Brother" (Movie 1), "The Extra Miles" (Movie 2), "To Know the Unknown" (Movie 3) and "Make a Wish" (movie 6) "Brother my Brother" by Blessid Union of Souls, "The Extra Miles" by Laura Pausini, "To Know the Unknown" by Innosense and "Make a Wish" by Cindy Mizelle and Asuca Hayashi.
AGREE! But I do think he need to watch the original Japanese first and not the English one first, he might get the wrong idea about the show because the openings are so different Also, Luke, if you see that comment: I created a playlist with all the openings of Pokemon, in my opinion it is the best playlist that you can find ruclips.net/video/TZMoQjvoICE/видео.html&pp=gAQBiAQB
It’s an accurately rated anime. Interesting concept, meh execution. Lots of plot holes, forgotten or left out characters, and an odd way to conclude everything. Out of every anime there is to recommend, it’ll be one of the last ones I’d recommend considering how many other must watch anime there are.
It is your opinion and I respect it, but it is not objective, it is better to make it clear that it is only your opinion and not declare something as a true fact, for me this anime was very well done and executed, I found no faults in it since I paid attention to every detail it in the 22 episodes, although it is just my opinion, the ending may be odd but it is not bad for me, a different ending than usual, which makes sense because of how one part of the story was presented from the beginning of the anime.@@RoflCannon6
I'd love to see you do an endings list! Some of these might be wild shots, but I'm just gonna mention any endings I think I remember you liking, I'm sure there are others I don't know or can't think of: - CSM ed 1, 8, 9, 12 + more? - 86 ed 1, 2 - Frieren ed - Vinland Saga ed 2 + more? - Bunny girl senpai ed - HxH ed 1, 2, 5 - SxF ed 1, 2, 3 - Fire force ed 1 - Oshi no Ko ed - SAO WoU ed 1 + more? - March comes in like a lion ed 1, 2, 4 - Cyberpunk ed - JJK ed 1 + more? - Komi-san ed 2 - Made in Abyss ed 2 - Madoka Magica ed 2 - Overlord ed 1 + more? - Re:zero ed 1, 2 - AoT ed 8 (UNDER THE TREE) + more?
So, Top 100 Anime Endings of all time next? Here are my 5 + 2 classic recommendations for your next OP & ED reactions: 1. (2004) Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha OP & ED (with 5 series, 4 movies and 2 games; OPs & some movie EDs sung by that era's anisong queen: Mizuki Nana) 2. (2000) Vandread OP & ED (fire retro 90s/00s songs)(check out the EDs for cheekiness) 3. (2011) Horizon in the middle of Nowhere OP & ED 4. (2003) Chrono Crusade OP & ED 5. (2011) Anohana OP & ED Special mention: (2008) Macross Frontier ED & insert (esp the EDs like "Diamond Crevasse" & "Northern Cross" are a MUST! and their longer forms!, insert songs: Ao no Ether, Yousei) classic 1. (2000) Inuyasha OP & ED 2. (1996) Rurouni Kenshin (the 1996 series) OP & ED
if you put together a favorite ED list, I remember you saying that Golden Kamuy ED 1 was really good. the third ED is also by The Sixth Lie... you should check that out sometime. like, idk if there's another variety pack video upcoming that GK ED 3 and 4 could get included in, but I think they're good ones to have for consideration if you're putting a list like that together. oh! and the Dorohedoro EDs should be up for consideration!!
YESS Ajin is awesome!!! It took my bf an eternity to convince me to watch it, because I normally hate those 3D style Animes, but damn it was sooo worth the watch!
Free! Iwatobi Swim Club is...well..a Swimming Anime i was in my tumblr obsession when THE COMMERCIAL FOR A WATER BOTTLE was making its rounds on the site and then a petition to get that commercial to be made into an anime was floating around, i was one of the many people who signed that petition and then we got it (was around the same time Season 1 of AOT was like half out) and by like...ep 4? ep 6? idk someone can correct me we learned that it wasn't just about goofy hot bois obsessed with swimming XD
You need to do Kuma's EDs of spring (both versions) Also Blue Archive OP and EDs, and Girls Band Cry OP, ED and Inserts You can find a playlist of the latter by searching Girls Band Cry【official music video】(RUclips is mean and won't let me link it)
You mentioned creating a list of the best endings. Some endings I remember liking: Code Geass - Shiawase neiro Naruto - By my side Saekano - Colorful Tokyo Ghoul - Seijatachi Evangelion - Fly me to the moon Made in Abyss - Tabi no hidarite, saihate no migite Tokyo Ghoul - Kisetsu wa Tsugitsugi Shinde Iku Made in Abyss - Endless Embrace Erased - Sore wa Chiisana Hikari no Youna Hajime no Ippo - Yuuzora no Kamihikouki Made in Abyss - Forever Lost Code Geass - Yuukyou Seishunka Eromanga Sensei - adrenaline!!! Haibane Renmei - Blue Flow Clannad - Dango Daikazoku AOT -- Akuma no Ko
This is the first time I see a non shitty top 100 anime Opening list. Love it ! 26:36 don't know whether the list is randomised or not but answer is "yes"
Opening suggestions: 1. The Big O, "Big O! The Show Must Go On!"- ruclips.net/video/mgQVL5RG0DU/видео.html 2. Mobile Suit Gundam, all openings 3. Moriarty the Patriot, "Dying Wish" & "Twisted Hearts" by Tasuku Hatanaka- op1: ruclips.net/video/4REhyrzmEkk/видео.html op2: ruclips.net/video/oa6ZwOjb2Q4/видео.html 4. Samurai Champloo, "Battlecry" by Nujabes- ruclips.net/video/qDzod6Voe44/видео.html 5. Metallic Rouge, "Rouge" by Yu-ka- ruclips.net/video/lnDUYan0a88/видео.html -Anime Movie ost suggestion: 1. Jin Roh- The Wolf Brigade, "Omega Grace" by Hajime Mizoguchi- ruclips.net/video/LpVNNC52Q_o/видео.html
this is the best ranked list i have seen, if you have seen all the animes in this list you will agree to the whole list, whoever made this list is a genius
Here are my anime opening & ending recommendations! OPENINGS 1. Shuumatsu no Walküre (Record of Ragnarok) - Opening 2 "Rude Loose Dance by Minami" 2. Under Ninja - Opening 1 "Hyper by Kroi" 3. Beck - Opening 1 "Hit in the USA by Beat Crusaders" 4. Mirai Nikki - Opening 1 "Küsö Mesorogiwi by Yousei Teikoku" 5. Mobile Suit Gundam: SEED - Opening 1 "INVOKE by T.M.REVOLUTION" 6. Mobile Suit Gundam Wing - Opening 1 "Just Communication by Two-Mix" 7. Gleipnir - Opening 1 "Altern-ate- by H-el-ical//" 8. Boruto - Opening 4 "Lonely Go! by Brian the Sun" 9. Blood+ - Opening 3 "Colors of the Heart by UVERworld" 10. Boku Dake Ga Inai Machi (Erased) - Opening 1 "Re:Re: by Asian Kung-Fu Generation" 11. Grimgar, Ashes and Illusions - Opening 2 "Knew day by (K)NoW_NAME" 12. Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry - Opening 1 "Identity by Mikio Sakai" ENDINGS 1. Bleach - Ending 2 "Thank you! by Home Made Kazoku" 2. Bleach - Ending 7 "Hanabi by Ikimonogakari" 3. Bleach - Ending 11 "Tsumasaki by ORESKABAND" (I'm sorry that all the Bleach endings are bangers, #16 and 17 are great too) 4. Bleach TYBW - Ending 2 "Endroll by Yoh Kamiyama" 5. Sword Art Online: Alicization - Ending 8 "unlasting by LiSA" 6. Gurren Lagann - Ending 3 "Minna no Peace by Afromania"
Ahh, I forgot about Invoke. I favor "Rage of Dust" from Iron-Blooded Orphans, myself, but Invoke would make the list if I had extra room. So would "Just Communication" from Wing and the original OP. "Gundamu, gundamu~" gundam is full of good stuff. It probably deserves its own sublist since its such a big franchise.
Everyone has their own tastes, but I feel like we can guess this guy's age based on the list. What were the oldest songs? One Piece and Angel Beats? No Dragonball? No Cowboy Bebop? No Evengelion? But yeah a great list, lots of bangers, though I think we need to introduce this guy to some of the "classics."
@@snakewatch5468 bro, it goes harder than any of the other songs in this list. You cant like a rock intro and not love one punch man. It seems more impossible Genos beating Saitama in a fight.
Also honorary mention for "Spare Me, Great Lord!" OP which would probably have made the list were it not for the fact it's a donghua rather than a Japanese anime and I don't think properly licensed for distribution in the West yet. Take it from me though, well worth the watch. Whoever made that thing was clearly doing a lot of acid and having a good time and it's awesome.
I can understand some older OP's like Cowboy Bebop or Evangelion might feel out of date for newer audiences. I could believe someone might not like or even seen some less popular, like Call of the Night. But man, One Punch Man is a banger, if not the favorite surely deserves a place in top 100.
I'm surprised... most top 100 anime op list are all kinda the same? But this one is actually kinda different at least half of them are from shows that I would prob put on my own top 100.
2:33 i don't know man... I have no idea what's Kiznaiver about, but out of all openings here it's the only one that gives me literal chills, even though it's just a 10 second piece
This list had a ton of great banger songs. But I also agree with others that it is missing older classics. I would include a number of older songs and personally "Inner Universe" from Ghost in the shell SAC would be my #1. I was gonna include recommendations but i arrived a couple hours late this time and there are already a ton of recs in the comments this time so I'll just upvote others here
Have you watched/reacted to the gurren laggan themes? I'm watching it now and, with only the themes I would have the wrong impression of it. Having heard about it for a while, I didn't expect such a major point to happen so early
I highly suggest you watch Dragon Ball before any of the more recent big 3 anime. So you can get a sense of what came before. Fist of the North Star and Saint Seiya are also relevant in that sense.
It's time to see how i react to this video. Would i be shocked or agree with it 1:58 so far good 3:25 this is low, but yeah, it good but not the best 4:08 i dont rate this song as much as everyone but im shocked how low it is 5:11 same 5:56 wow 82 that's surprising 6:04 and the next 1 is really surprising low 6:29 and another 1 surprising low hit with the triple 7:24 yeah now hopefully more of them are onto this list 8:23 it a visual novel and same i need to either watch anime or watch the vn 8:58 of course this song falls on 69 god dammit and i dont think i could get sick of this song 9:36 welcome to being a anime fan and joining the this needing a second 2 crew 9:43 oooooo i forgot about this 1 10:01 just added this song to my playlist XD 10:33 this song grew and me and i like it now 10:53 ooooooo 12:49, wow, another song that a barely listen to 13:07 when ever i load up solo leveling game this song pops up XD 14:32 this song i dont rate at all 14:53 now this song being here is low 15:14 this being low as well i wonder what higher 15:43 what a banger hope it on my playlist time to check well not on the streaming service i use dammit 16:08 surprising high 16:38 it good opening compared to other english op 17:48 same 18:07 i dont think it is because there was two railgun song rated above alot of songs 19:04 ok i dont rate this song at all might be my odd taste but 19:13 overlord lets go 20:57 good song but man compared to alot of lower songs......... 21:04 probably my favourite naturo op 21:37 yeah 1 of the biggest considering how worldwide it got 22:15 another big song 22:33 that be good because ending dont get the love they deserve because alot of ending are great 24:35 wow 😮 25:18 maybe hells and maybe the ending? 25:59 good op but yeah as a song no way 26:07 we finally got this song wonder what higher 26:37 that above again 26:57 im shocked to see this on the list but i rate it this high fck i love this song 27:21 i was about to say if idol doesn't show up wtf 27:39 same and amount of times i listen to that song isn't funny 29:28 same 30:05 true
There are complaints of like "wow just modern stuff", "where is X show", or "man nothing past X date", but tbh im just here for the music lol. If something I don't know and like I'll check it out, or if I do know I just vibe lol. Although I will agree with one comment I saw.....man I wish Stray Dogs saw more rep. Genuinely my favorite more recent show to have come out, but its weirdly not talked about. Which is funny cuz a lot of opinions of the show are really positive.
Me personally I'm having Idol, Brave Shine, and Unravel top 3 for this list specifically. Hard to decide if I like Unravel or Idol more but that would be a solid top 3. I like Summertime Rendering but #2 is INSANE, I don't think I would even have that top 20 with all the OP's here.
No. 83 in this list is Mekakucity Actors (the one with the Garnidelia song) is based off of a series of Vocaloid songs and the song series/franchise is known as Kagerou Project. Please listen to the KagePro songs (and watch the music video with subs) cause they're all super good! The anime OP and ED are amazing and the music videos for them is great! The most popular KagePro song is "Kagerou Days", by the way. lol I kinda don't trust the "Of All Time" in the titles of lists like these. So many anime exist with amazing songs and all the different the lists usually have many of the newer songs and not many of the old ones which are still well-known. I'm still recommending Inuyasha OPs and EDs. Tokyo Underground's OP 1 and 2 are great as well, please give them a listen!
i had to check the original video, and this is a persons personal favorites list, not some objective analysis of popularity, which explains a hell of a lot
Someone should make a video about underrated openings. so many songs get overlooked just because their shows arent popular yet the songs may be way better than the most popular ones
I was just reminded from the below comment about pokemon that there are still the Digimon ones you missed that you were going to get to in the future. Hopefully you find the standard opening for Digimon Ghost Game. Another reactor only saw the alternate version and honestly it's not good in my opinion. It's trying to elicit a certain style of Japanese music but I don't think it works well normally for the song, much less as an opening.
Recommendation for Girls Band Cry opening, ending also the songs Void and Voiceless Fish (you're not obligated all of them if you make a video, it's just suggestions) Opening: ruclips.net/video/YDLafQ-Rg-k/видео.html Opening Full Song: ruclips.net/video/MSmfAa_oSqE/видео.html Ending: ruclips.net/video/Go6wsJwKf4c/видео.html Ending Full Song: ruclips.net/video/dJottC7FmYc/видео.html Void: ruclips.net/video/gpCHjSaetds/видео.html Voiceless Fish: ruclips.net/video/uUUzZDlrt08/видео.html
From this list, I like Ignite from Sword Art Online, all the Fripside songs from A Certain Scientific Railgun, the 1st and 26th OPs from One Piece, the Linked Horizon songs from Attack on Titan, and the first three Jojos Bizarre Adventures Openings. I would put Yumeiro Chaser from Metal Armor Dragonar, Time for L-Gaim from Heavy Metal L-Gaim, Pegasus Fantasy and Soldier Dream from Saint Seiya, all opening theme from Zeta and Gundam Double Zeta, the first three openings for the old Urusei Yatsura anime, Actress in the Mirror and Night of Summer Side from Kimagure Road, All Slayers OPs, the first three Ranma 1/2 OPs, the G Gundam and Gundam Wing Opening, Space Pirate Captain Harlock, Tatakae Otaking from Otaku no Video, Cha La Head Cha La and We Got Power from DBZ on my top anime openings list.
Luke, next reaction has to be black clover, easily one of my favourites. A bunch of people didnt stick with it because of the mc screaming a lot in the first few episodes but they missed out big time, quality anime. Plus every opening is 🔥
Best Boom Boom Satellites song is "Shut Up and Explode" their opening to Xam'd Lost Memories, a Bones sci-fi anime from the late 2000s. Absolutely clears the Kiznaiver opening. And the reason why Kiznaiver reminds you of Cyberpunk Edgerunners is because both Kiznaiver and Cyberpunk were studio Trigger shows. Aside from that, the one I'm surprised got left off this list was "Flashback" from Kokkoku. And no Myth & Roid? Epic fail. And as far endings go, I'll be hella surprised if Luke's list doesn't have some Myth & Roid on it. Or "Nai Nai" by ReoNa from Shadows House. One of my personal favorite ending songs is "Tokohana" by Nagi Yanagi from Black Bullet. The show isn't all that, but the ending song slaps.
alot of people confused TK solo stuffs with Ling Tosite Sigure as a whole band if it's "TK from Ling Tosite Sigure", it's just TK with another band that made the song, if its only Ling Tosite Sigure, it's only songs that has the whole band performed the rest of Ling Tosite Sigure derserved more love :(
Please listen to the Black Butler Openings NANA Endings and Paradise Kiss Opening and Ending btw you never reacted to the full version of the new LISA song Watch Bleach next you would probably like it the most
I read the Oshi no ko manga before the anime was ever announced. I remember reading the summary of it and thought it sounded interesting. It hooked me so hard with the plot twist.

Can you attempt an Ado song quiz?
People usually dislike the opening of Kaiju no.8 because it is 100% made in CGI, and I feel like people should stop the blind hate on CGI. The opening is beautiful, there's nothing to complain about. There's on shot in particular that I feel can only be as good as it is in CGI
I think the first watch when it shows the 3D Kaiju it catches people off guard. But you are so right it is so beautiful (for me especially the start of it)
The artist who sings it was what first caught me off guard 😭
I love the Kaiju no 8 opening!!! I love the song and the kinda creepy look to the graphics!!!❤❤
Good idea 💯
24:53 HELL'S PARADISE PACING FOR THE 1 MILLIONTH TIME SOMEBODY UPVOTE THIS FOR THE MAN ALREADY xD
👀
5:35 83 Mekakucity Actors: one of the most strange, yet good one. this anime have a good story, but really hard to understand (there are things to read/watch before fully understanding the anime)

did i go deaf , did i lose my eyesight by any chance , top 100 anime openings without cruel angel thesis , nahhh😭😭💀💀
garbage list with recency bias
edit i forgot its a personal list
Yeah I came to make that same assessment, I was expecting it to show in the top 5 but got blue balled.
Huge recency bias in this list. The maker must've begun anime on 2010
One important thing to keep in mind is the original video is called "MY Top 100 Anime Opening of All Time" not "THE TOP 100 Anime Openings OF ALL TIME!" like it is here. It's not a garbage list, it's just what one person likes.
nah, that shit belongs on the streetz
It's a "my top 100" not a top 100 anime of all time
My top 10 in a random order is
Ancient Magus bride - Here - Junna
Sengoku Youko - Hibana - Mindaryn
Zom 100 - Song of the dead - Kana-Boon
I'm quitting heroing - Broken Identity - Minori Suzuki
Ranking of Kings - Naked Hero - Vaundy
Oshi no Ko - Idol - Yoasobi
Your Lie in April - Hikaru Nara - Goose House
Apothacary Diaries - Be a Flower- Ryokuoushoku Shakai
My Hero Academia - Odd Future - Uverworld
The Rising of the Shield hero - Rise - Madkid
I really think that Sengoku Youko and I'm quitting heroing are real stand outs to me.
If you want to watch gintama just keep in mind that it is a commitment. There are some dry periods throughout it but most of it is really funny and some are more serious. I personally loved Gintama. It’s funny, you grow attached to the characters 🥲 and everyone has such interesting stories.
Sentences to expect when watching G.O.T Games :
- "Kill la kill is one of my brother's favorite opening"
- "I love Fire force op1 but op2 is so much better to me"
lol
What about the ‘TK take’ ? 😅
😂 I need a bingo card!
Please, react to Saiki K! Its such an amazing comedy, you'll love it!
My top 10:
1: "Rumbling" - Attack on Titan OP (anime version)
2: "Idol" - Oshi no ko OP (full version)
3: "When the weak go marching" - Idaten deities OP
4: "Deadman wonderland" - Deadman wonderland (uncensored)
5: "Sasageyo" - Attack on titan OP3
6: "Yofukashi no uta" - Call of the night ED
7: "Shinda" - The legendary hero is already dead
8: "My war" - Attack on Titan s4 OP
9: "Jaeger" Attack on Titan OP1
10: "Hero" - One punch man S1 (I especially love the english cover by Jonathan Young)
Sucks that I almost never see the Idaten Deities opening in top lists, it's SOOOOO damn good.
Fr idaten tachi op is really underrate, but still one of the best op
Attack on mid fan spotted
Happy to see Summertime Render op so high :) you have to watch the show, its perfection
fr such a underrated show

Summertime Render is incredible, and I can't recommend it enough. And I love how unique the opening is, with very simple visuals that I assume are to intentionally avoid spoilers.
(I will forever appreciate Kuma, because Kuma has watched Golden Kamuy, therefore, Golden Kamuy gets on lists that Kuma makes. it saddens me how many others have simply not seen Golden Kamuy.)
Is it good? How many episodes does it have?
@@Pathetic-Ali it's very good!
it has 4 seasons at 12 episodes each, so 48 episodes total, with 4 OVAs.
basic premise:
it's set in the early 1900s and follows the story of Sugimoto Saichi, a veteran from the Russo-Japanese war. the story starts after the war, when he goes to Hokkaido to try and make some money (so he can support the wife of his childhood friend, who served in the army with him, and died in battle), and that's when he hears a tale about a massive cache of gold that was stolen from the Ainu people, and hidden somewhere in Hokkaido. the man who stole it was sent to a maximum security prison, where he was tortured by the army, yet never gave up the gold's location. instead, he tattooed coded instructions on the skins of 24 of his fellow inmates. all the tattoos are necessary to find the gold, and soon after they were completed, the prisoners staged an escape. so now all of these crazy criminals are scattered throughout Hokkaido, each with a piece of the puzzle, and the army is definitely already after the treasure themselves.
that's when Sugimoto meets Asirpa... an Ainu girl whose father was guarding the gold, and was killed when it was stolen. she and Sugimoto team up and decide to look for it themselves, with Sugimoto only wanting a small cut to send back home.
from there, everything goes absolutely bonkers. the story has an excellent dramatic plot full of action, high stakes, and twists that are implemented very effectively... but it's also hilarious, and chaotic, and insane. plus there's a lot of really well researched information about Ainu culture, with a surprisingly heavy emphasis on cooking.

Damn, this is such a good collection of HYPE and nostalgia (waiting for "Gintama")
I hope he starts watching it
pls react to more Aot ost, like zero eclipse or the reluctant heroes!!
love your videos🫶🏻
We need to start numbering these videos cause they blend together after so many. XD
You should also start focusing more on 'Best Anime Openings of 20xx' vids as alot of these top 100 end up putting a lot of the same openings up and alot of the smaller anime sort of get forgotten.
I have only done one other of these 'all time ones' but it's not a bad idea 💯
Gawd daym this list was GOATed, good find! I treat this top 100s usually not as a competition, not an actual top, but just list of authors 100 fav songs.
Realize is obviously the best Re:Zero opening. Not convinced? Maybe a reaction to the full song could change that 🫣
Same..... I like memento as ending too
And maybe pair it with the cover by Yusuke Kobayashi (Subaru's voice actor)
It's amazing, but for me it's Long shot.
Remember how long we waited for that opening and then it came out of nowhere on episdoe S2 ep19 ? I was SOOO Hyped then and still love it (i love all songs/soundtracls of Re:Zero too)
Memento is probably my favorite anime ED of all time. It’s just so atmospheric to me…
It’s especially dear to me because I was in Japan while season 2 was airing during Covid and being in a confined to a hotel for months I was really only looking forward to Re:Zero. It almost makes me cry every time I hear this song.
For me memento is top 10 ending of all time
But i cant choose what re:zero opening is the best for me
Only thing i can say it's not a long shot
List only had one song from anime before 2000? Sus.
There were many recent ops that had no business being on the list imo. Especially the kaiju 8 opening ☠️
@@SmthPositive_ Eh, it's ok. You could make a case for it if you liked it enough.
Original video has my top 100 anime openings and it's his personal favorites not everyone else
It did? 👀👀
Why does that matter 💀
26:30 Yes 100% One of the best anime songs, potentially my no.1.
17:15 THAT transition, dude.
👀
The day i see a bungo stray dogs opening on one of these is the day i can die happy 😭😭 im begginh and praying on my hands and knees
Angel Beats is actually a very unique story, so it's hard to guess with just the visuals. The title is actually the best hint at what the show is about.
Luke you need to react to opening songs of pokemon. It got english and japanese OPs and they all awesome
I agree even if he reacted to the last one! But several others are really good too
The first two Japanese Pokemon Horizons OPs are really good
I think that the english opening should be reviewed, yeah. The tunes are different than the japanese ones, and good on their own.
I'll also recommand Pokemon movies' theme song. Like " "Brother My Brother" (Movie 1), "The Extra Miles" (Movie 2), "To Know the Unknown" (Movie 3) and "Make a Wish" (movie 6)
"Brother my Brother" by Blessid Union of Souls, "The Extra Miles" by Laura Pausini, "To Know the Unknown" by Innosense and "Make a Wish" by Cindy Mizelle and Asuca Hayashi.
AGREE! But I do think he need to watch the original Japanese first and not the English one first, he might get the wrong idea about the show because the openings are so different
Also, Luke, if you see that comment: I created a playlist with all the openings of Pokemon, in my opinion it is the best playlist that you can find

Bro don't miss out the Hindi dubbed one 🤧
Re creators is underrated anime and its so good, hope people vote for it some day. Btw opening 2 in #100 is a crime tho 💀
Re Creators was a huge disappointment for me. Almost like Darling in the Franxx.
There isn't a single bad piece in Re:Creator's OST. Everything in that OST should be in the top 20s at LEAST.
We are talking about the song and opening mate@@RoflCannon6
The "Free" openings are absolute banger. I can highly recommend them. By the way, i love your videos.
I'd love to see you do an endings list!

if you put together a favorite ED list, I remember you saying that Golden Kamuy ED 1 was really good. the third ED is also by The Sixth Lie... you should check that out sometime.
like, idk if there's another variety pack video upcoming that GK ED 3 and 4 could get included in, but I think they're good ones to have for consideration if you're putting a list like that together. oh! and the Dorohedoro EDs should be up for consideration!!
if you haven't, check out ajin and kiznaiver op and ed songs, they're really really good. Especially AJIN
YESS Ajin is awesome!!! It took my bf an eternity to convince me to watch it, because I normally hate those 3D style Animes, but damn it was sooo worth the watch!

i was in my tumblr obsession when THE COMMERCIAL FOR A WATER BOTTLE was making its rounds on the site and then a petition to get that commercial to be made into an anime was floating around, i was one of the many people who signed that petition
and then we got it (was around the same time Season 1 of AOT was like half out) and by like...ep 4? ep 6? idk someone can correct me we learned that it wasn't just about goofy hot bois obsessed with swimming XD
I am just gonna say this that I really love watching your videos. Always enjoyable hearing you rant about anime music!
You need to do Kuma's EDs of spring (both versions)
Also Blue Archive OP and EDs, and Girls Band Cry OP, ED and Inserts
You can find a playlist of the latter by searching Girls Band Cry【official music video】(RUclips is mean and won't let me link it)

Naruto - By my side
Saekano - Colorful
Tokyo Ghoul - Seijatachi
Evangelion - Fly me to the moon

2. Bleach - Ending 7 "Hanabi by Ikimonogakari"
3. Bleach - Ending 11 "Tsumasaki by ORESKABAND" (I'm sorry that all the Bleach endings are bangers, #16 and 17 are great too)
4. Bleach TYBW - Ending 2 "Endroll by Yoh Kamiyama"
5. Sword Art Online: Alicization - Ending 8 "unlasting by LiSA"
This is the first time I've seen a truly banger list.
Rumbling should be on top 5
Everyone has their own tastes, but I feel like we can guess this guy's age based on the list. What were the oldest songs? One Piece and Angel Beats? No Dragonball? No Cowboy Bebop? No Evengelion? But yeah a great list, lots of bangers, though I think we need to introduce this guy to some of the "classics."
Yeah. These top 100 lists usually include DBZ, Pokemon, Evangelion, and Cowboy Bebop.
@@TheErsu And "The Hero" from One-Punch Man, I hope.
I feel like most of the 'Top 100' lists nowadays are almost entirely openings from the past few years
@@bemusedbandersnatch2069overrated opening
@@snakewatch5468 bro, it goes harder than any of the other songs in this list. You cant like a rock intro and not love one punch man. It seems more impossible Genos beating Saitama in a fight.
Also honorary mention for "Spare Me, Great Lord!" OP which would probably have made the list were it not for the fact it's a donghua rather than a Japanese anime and I don't think properly licensed for distribution in the West yet.
Take it from me though, well worth the watch. Whoever made that thing was clearly doing a lot of acid and having a good time and it's awesome.
Love your content keep it up!~
I can understand some older OP's like Cowboy Bebop or Evangelion might feel out of date for newer audiences. I could believe someone might not like or even seen some less popular, like Call of the Night. But man, One Punch Man is a banger, if not the favorite surely deserves a place in top 100.
15:20 Minami released a new song a couple of days ago!!
Super happy to see Summertime rendering there though a bit suprised Mob Psycho was nowhere.
I've been wanting to do my own top 100 list of my favorite openings, but I'd need like a week off work for that to be feasible LOL
Lisa was on here a LOT. She’s one of my favs but I’m still surprised
Also sao making it in top ten is an amazing surprise
I highly suggest you watch Dragon Ball before any of the more recent big 3 anime. So you can get a sense of what came before. Fist of the North Star and Saint Seiya are also relevant in that sense.

Although I will agree with one comment I saw.....man I wish Stray Dogs saw more rep. Genuinely my favorite more recent show to have come out, but its weirdly not talked about. Which is funny cuz a lot of opinions of the show are really positive.
This is a grate list!
Fairy Tail also is a big anime lol
From 2009 to 20014 was the third Best selling manga behind one piece and Naruto and kicking bleach out of the big 3
And it will return
Rave Groove Adventure was the predecessor work prior to Fairy Tail

9:35 Fun Fact: Even the author himself is begging them to make another season of NGNL
i had to check the original video, and this is a persons personal favorites list, not some objective analysis of popularity, which explains a hell of a lot
Summertime rendering op is so good❤
Someone should make a video about underrated openings. so many songs get overlooked just because their shows arent popular yet the songs may be way better than the most popular ones
You acknowledged it but I was just waiting for you to pause on Inferno to talk about Mayday 😂😂
You really need to check out all ofthe gundam series openings and endings one day, because man, you are missing a lot amazing music!
It'd be awesome if you could at least consider watching A Certain Scientific Railgun. It's an amazing sci-fi anime. 💕💕💕💕
Recommendation for Girls Band Cry opening, ending also the songs Void and Voiceless Fish (you're not obligated all of them if you make a video, it's just suggestions)
Opening: ruclips.net/video/YDLafQ-Rg-k/видео.html
Opening Full Song: ruclips.net/video/MSmfAa_oSqE/видео.html
Ending: ruclips.net/video/Go6wsJwKf4c/видео.html
Ending Full Song: ruclips.net/video/dJottC7FmYc/видео.html
Void: ruclips.net/video/gpCHjSaetds/видео.html
Voiceless Fish: ruclips.net/video/uUUzZDlrt08/видео.html
i could never do anime op list because i have seentoo much anime and when there is good opening they are good, there equal for me
bruh, death parade not even being on the list ;-;
4:45 Black Clover pls!
I agree, you should definitely watch "Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song" it's short, but damn if it isn't one of the best animes I've seen.
The show isn't all that, but the ending song slaps.
alot of people confused TK solo stuffs with Ling Tosite Sigure as a whole band
if it's "TK from Ling Tosite Sigure", it's just TK with another band that made the song, if its only Ling Tosite Sigure, it's only songs that has the whole band performed
the rest of Ling Tosite Sigure derserved more love :(
13:05 Luke "we can't have another 10/10"
Video "ok" turn it up to 11
Thank you got games for the Reaction love your tough about it. I hope you continued the Episode 2 of My Hero Academia Season tnx can't wait to see it
Please listen to the Black Butler Openings NANA Endings and Paradise Kiss Opening and Ending btw you never reacted to the full version of the new LISA song
Watch Bleach next you would probably like it the most
Black Clover Op10 is one of my favourites of all time. I'm not surprised where is.
I read the Oshi no ko manga before the anime was ever announced. I remember reading the summary of it and thought it sounded interesting. It hooked me so hard with the plot twist.
Spoiler:
Too bad the manga doesn’t capture that same light now
Hei luke,
I think you missed, one of the best romance anime op.. the name is "uso no hibana" from kuzu no honkai and the ending is also great too 😭
You definitely have to watch summertime rendering, totally recommended
