There are plenty of famous, traditional or even iconic Spanish clubs in the 2nd tier which have been quite successful once upon a time. Real Valladolid, RCD Espanyol, Racing Santander, Sporting Gijón, Real Oviedo, Real Zaragoza...in many European countries, the 2nd tier seems to be more appealing than the so-called top flight leagues next season. Just take a look at the 2nd tier clubs of Germany, England, the Netherlands or, as seen, Spain in 2023/24... P.S. My favourite stadium in Segunda División is probably El Molinón in Gijon. When it comes to the smaller ones, Estadio Municipal de Anduva of CD Mirandés seems very lovely to me.
All of these are really nice but my favourites are Estadio Jose Zaralla (Valladolid), Estadio El Molinon (Sporting Gijon). The Villareal B one is great too my daughter calls it El Banana would be top but its really a La Liga stadium so it only gets mention.
Spain in my opinion has the overall best stadiums in Europe. Almost all of them renovated and nice looking, also in 2nd division. My favorit here is the Villareal B, el Estadio de la Cermaica is really nice and cozy.
I couldn't imagine to stay calm on the balcony during an Andorra match due to vertigo. :( I would either not move into one of these high-rise buildings at all or, if I had to live there, I'd have to get a ticket for the match and attend the stadium anyway. :D
A malata ahora tiene una reforma que ha quedado bastante mejor tanto el cesped como el resto del estadio en general, y otras muchas reformas que vienen en camino como el cambio de la cubierta y el recubrimiento del exterior.
The small stadium that comes out with the name LEZAMA is actually only a part of the Athletic de Bilbao sports city, in that small field the reserve team plays in the second division.
Great video! 👍🏻 This is the stadium of my city’s football team (5:55), the “Estadio José Zorrilla” of Real Valladolid C.F. 💜🤍💜, located in the neighborhood of Parquesol, in the southwest area of Valladolid.
It’s crazy so many under 25k capacity stadiums …it’s amazing the US some of high school and,all most all college, universities have average over 10-57k capacities in their stadiums…just crazy …small town schools have easily have over 5k capacities…
In some seasons it happens that there are small teams, from lower divisions that manage to access the second division. They are more humble teams from smaller places and with more humble football fields. It is not usual but sometimes it happens. For example, in this video teams such as Andorra or Eldense. Then keep in mind that Spain has 48 million inhabitants compared to the 330 million that the USA has with much larger population concentrations.
En 2030, el Sevilla FC regresará a la Segunda División y permanecerá allí durante muchos años (incluso predigo un paso en la Tercera División para este club). Esto sucederá, es inevitable.
What is your favorite Segunda Division stadium?
Real Zaragoza
Estadio martinez valero 7:12

There’s a lot of beauty in small stadiums
Agreed. Most interesting stadium designs I see these days are all under 15k capacity.
the stadiums are nice and tidy, look really good and I love the scenery behind the stands you can see in smaller stadiums too.
5:12 Not gonna lie, when I saw the Estadio de la Cerámica in the thumbnail, I almost freaked out, I thought Villarreal got relegated!
Tartiere(Oviedo) & Malata(Ferrol) is very beauty🔥
All of these are really nice but my favourites are Estadio Jose Zaralla (Valladolid), Estadio El Molinon (Sporting Gijon). The Villareal B one is great too my daughter calls it El Banana would be top but its really a La Liga stadium so it only gets mention.

The RCD Espanyol and levante stadiums are also incredible

You don't need to attend a game in Andorra, just watch it from your balcony.

El de Pucela chulísimo con ese color violeta tan característico.

Very nice stadiums
Villareal B's stadium is better than the first teams! Lol. Personally i liked Sporting Gijon's stadium.
It's the same one. They reformed it last year and both teams play there.
