Decreased velocity with the jacketed bullet is my experience. But it's going to be interesting to see if you get the same results, thank you Walter see you in the next video.
Good morning sir. At what range do you shoot those groups for this series? I just started reloading the 45acp with 230s &225 cast bullets from Missouri bullets
Hi, Rich. The overall length is something of a marriage between the bullet itself and the chamber of the firearm. The COAL for each bullet type was determined individually so that the rounds used WOULD feed and chamber reliably. For example, if the Lee bullet was seated out closer to the 1.260 point like some of the others, it will not chamber at all. So, the variance in COAL absolutely affects reliability. I will talk about this in the next episode and try to clear it up a little better. 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸
Great review, thank you for your time and investment.

Hello, JC. Missouri bullets are a good choice for cast bullets. These are all being shot at 25 feet.
Great video. So the variances in length had no impact on reliability?

Nice lookin bullet
Thanks, Don. 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸
My guess is the copper bullets will be 100 fps slower, POI 2 inches higher and larger ES(15 or more). Looking forward to real results!
My guess is is that you’ll be pretty danged close! Thanks for stopping by, John! 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸
I'd really like to find a Saeco mold but they are very uncommon up here, just to pricey I guess.
Hiya, Mike. Yes, they are quite expensive to buy new. Most of mine are second-hand purchases. 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸🇨🇦
