Just one question, Eddie: How do you know that the cleaning addressed the problem with the pistons? In my case, the cleaning ,new pads, and flush did not solve the problem. The piston seals had to be replaced. Only then did the calipers work 100%. Looking back, I should have pumped the brakes before installing the pads to see that all the pistons moved evenly. Hope you have a great day and safe travels.
Holy smokes Ron ! You read my mind my friend. The honest answer I don’t know if will fix the pistons pumping unevenly so I am planning to remove pads next spring and measure them.
You also said something I just realized next day ….. I should’ve pumped the pistons all the way out after the first cleaning to allow me to clean area that was previously hidden. I was so focus on shooting the video that didn’t cross my mind at that moment.
Great job on how to change your brake pads. Your description of playing whack a mole is spot on when pushing the brake pistons. 😂 Great job! PS: Happy Father's Day.
Hello dear friend ❤️😊 Amazing amazing video sharing ❤️📷 This is great 😃 Really enjoyed watching Thanks for sharing this with us giving another a big Big like thumbs up 👍👍👍👍👍 See you again take care Keep intouch ❤️👍 God bless 🙏🙏🙏🕊️
I imagine the same principles apply for most bikes? DIY Tip - Do not use your partners toothbrush or you will be in big trouble. Trust me, I know this first hand :)
Oh I miss having a garage for DIY projects. To this day, I still don’t do brakes even though I do most everything else ! BTW - New subscriber here ! 😂 (you didn’t state when a person became a new subscriber!!! LOL)
I am still wondering if the piston seals aren’t buggered but ….. I will ride this season as is and I will check the pads next spring and go from there.
Thanks, good video. Two questions please. 1- How to support the bike to remove the front wheel? 2- Steps to lubricate the fragiles pivots, shifter and rear break?

Yes, I don't know how I would feel without a garage. (other than DIY .. We have so much stuff stored there)
😂
I dont mind tackling mechanical but I hate electrical stuff.
When you stop by I will give you beers and steak ! much better than my giveaways. Thanks for stopping by amigo
@@WindyTherapy Cheers buddy !
Great job!!🤜🏻🤛🏻
Thanks a lot buddy ! Just trying to help others.
Happy Sunday
Yep, piston side usually shows more wear when the pins are not properly lubricated.

@@WindyTherapy if they don’t leak, they are fine.

I am sorry for the delay. Your comment was hidden for some reason
I just use the motorcycle center stand (you just need to add a bag or so at the back to pivot the weight and get the front wheel in the air)
👌👌
Thanks Larry

Very nice DIY Eddie... do you wanna do my Spyder brakes ? 😮😂
Bring it on buddy ! It should be something between a mini van, a sedan or a motorcycle. (Which I’ve done it before)
