Hi Tim - You mentioned (and showed) near the end that one front pad was worn more than the others. The Trophy has linked brakes, and that’s the front pad that’s doing the braking when applying only the rear brakes. Very normal for this bike (I own a 2013 and a 2017). Great how-to video! Ride safe!
Great Vid Tim. There’s a 13 TTSE for sale locally with about 45000 miles on it. Seems to be in great shape although I haven’t looked at it. Not familiar at all with them. Anything I should be looking for? Thank you.
Just use you best judgement. I bought mine new and sold it in 2018, so I didn't encounter any issues. Check to see if factory recalls (if any) were done.
Thanks so much, I have a 2015 and going to change my brake pads soon. Like a car? Do you need to open up master cylinder on a motorcycle to push pistons in with C clamp so brake fluid can expand? Do that on my car. Put clean towel over master cylinder with cap off. Have not ever done this on my bike yet.
I have 2013. Guess don’t have to take tire off. My car I always put clean rag over master cylinder. Hmmm. Thanks, your video on new air horn will come in handy. The horn on my 13 TTSE is like a little mouse.
Great tutorial! Its me again with the 2015 Triumph Trophy SE. I'm assuming if I need to change my rear brake pads, I don't need to remove the tire or muffler. Correct? I'll be changing out my side panels soon and will be using your earlier video as well. See ya!
Great Video and verry helpfull for me and my Trophy from 2014. Now i wait for the front wheel and Brake change video. 😏 Im serchinfg for a good handy mount solution with ram mount or something similar with good quality. An idea? Thank you
Yes - It's difficult to mount to the triangular handle bars on the Trophy. Checkout this page on my website for mounting solutions. ezmototim.com/products/mounting-devices/
Also you mentioned 14000 miles on the rear tire the some miles left. I’ve heard the TT are hard on rear tires, like around 8000 miles or so. Any truth to that?

Excellent video Tim thank you 😊. Great piece of advice about the tire pressure sensors.
Thanks for watching.
Such a great tutorial. Just bought a Trophy SE and this is helpful
Thank you.

Very informative and helpful.
Thanks for watching.
great Video Do you do your oil change how do you rest the oil change service warning light. Tank you
I no longer own the bike, but when I did, I had the dealer change the oil at the regular service interval. Thanks for watching.
thank you

No. Don't remove the master cylinder cover. Push eht pads back slowly and you should be fine.

I'm not sure whether or not you can get the caliper off without removing the wheel. You probably can. It was very easy when the wheel was off.

It would be useful if you would add “SE” to the title, so that MkII Trophy owners don’t waste their time here.😊
Done. Thanks for watching.
Front wheel tyre change, interests me.
I gave the bike to my son, so I won't be able to make a video on that. Thanks for watching.

I don't ride hard, so I got about 10,000 on the front tire and more on the rear. (I sold the bike in 2018)
Next time would be nice to mention the torque values. That's very important.
Yes, it's very important to check the manual for the correct torque settings.
