Zeke never lost anything to me. He just had a sorry blocking scheme and raggedy untimely called run plays that had the defense already in his face as soon as he got the rock.
What was the excuse in NE? He avg. only 3.5 per carry last year. I wouldn't say he was burning it up.

If Zeke gets enough touches he's gonna show he's still got it. All the he's old and wore down talk is BS ...the man is a tank. 180 carries and 300 yards worth of catches as a back up option in NE amounted 950 yards from scrimmage and 5TDs! That's starter numbers considering if he had 250 touches he would been 1500 yards plus RB EASY! ALSO NOTE that the MAJORITY of his rushing yards came from yards after contact... 1 yard in the back field! So technically his 3.5 yards per carry SHOULD be viewed as 4.5 yards per carry! So all that out in the open ...getting a back that can do that for 3m a year is a STEAL and Jerry knows it! I'm willing to bet Zimmer had something to say about it to after facing Zeke in the past!!! I dont understand why we would complain about a VET signing at RB for the VET Minimum that brings 1k yards from scrimmage potential as a rotational piece for the RB room! We don't need a true #1 when you have Zeke Rico Freeman Malik Luepke and some other depth! We got Zeke and luepke for the 4th and short ...Rico and Malik can break em off w speed also DEUCE!

Zeke may not make the 48 man roster and end up fourth string but, he knows his way around the team, deserves a shot at backup, and should be a good goal line back.
He was good when Cowboys signed him then the money went to his head and he became lazy. When he came back to ATT stadium with the Patriots to play Cowboys last year I sure wasn’t impressed with him,he looked embarrassed ,ashamed didn’t want to take off his helmet with his dark visor and played horribly so why bring him back? Is he going to show up for camp or will he go back to the beach? I really hope he and Prescott take us to and win the Super Bowl,it’s long overdue.. El Paso,Tx.real Cowboy fans..
