Lyrics:
Out on the lonely highway
I'm riding your way
Tell your momma to bar the cabin door
Heading out on a short run
Just looking for someone
Who doesn't love me anymore
Tennessee pusher, Tennessee pusher, Tennessee pusher
Last night in the hollar
I made a thousand dollars
But I couldn't believe just what I saw
You were out in the moonlight
Until the break of daylight
Giving your love to the law
Tennessee pusher, Tennessee pusher, Tennessee pusher
Climbing up on the mountain
Heartbeat pounding
Reckless as a cyclone
You're the one that am after
But I am a wanted man for
Bringing it all back home
Now there's gunsmoke in the valley
Blood like jelly
As three crows circle a dead tree
One for the lover
One for the pusher
One for the deputy
Tennessee, Tennessee, Tennessee pusher
Tennessee pusher, Tennessee pusher, Tennessee pusher
Hits different when you live this life haha
I am a hillbilly. And this song struck a nerve. I live out in the sticks all alone, I got 20 min sober. My pusher delivers...😢
Hard, heavy, mournful, one of the best songs I've ever heard 😢
Mournful, bluesy and so true to life. Ya gotta love it...
I live somewhere in east TN and the fella down the road looks a little like Freddy Krueger. Meth lab blew up.
Yep, little John lived for a few years after anhydrous...😂
about as far west as you can get in NC before crossing the border. Best place in the world.
I have never heard this songe before but for some reason unknown I felt as if I knew all the words and melody to the song and started singing it. I did not stop, even whistled throughout the break in lyrics. AMAZING SONG 5 stars!!!!! Please like if this has ever happened to you.
Discovered old crow while locked up in federal prison. Love their music. Helped me sleep at night👍
They help me sleep too boo🖤 glad your out now.
Glad you made it.✌️
My gal and I, just saw these guys at The Britt Venue in Jacksonville, Oregon. July 16th, 2022
They totally ruled, Nashville boys in Southern Oregon. Way cool.!!!
I've seen many shows in many venues. Over 50 years of rocking in my 66 years.
Go see some live music, folks.
Rock on.
Did they perform this tune ?
I Like the Music
I'm reppin Boone NC. It's a lovely part of the country. Made the drive over the hills to Johnson City TN many times
The great Valley of Tennessee born and raised
Old Crow does it again..what a beautiful song..
Almost 2019 you still listening ?
This music really hits different when driving around old forgotten Appalachian towns , you can really feel the soul behind it .
Some music just really vibes well with certain surroundings , kind of like listening to “ Seminole wind “ while driving through the backroads of Florida , or listening to Synthwave music driving over Tampa bay skyway bridge , or bumping old school 3-6 mafia while driving through the ghetto of Memphis .
There’s something about certain old country music and Tennessee tho , it’s like a religious experience listening to it with the mountains and the hills in the background .
If you play the song “city of New Orleans” by willie Nelson while you’re driving through Ashland City , TN and the train is moving along with you as you drive , it’s one of the coolest experiences ever .
I do a lot of long distance driving for work all through the southern states and I’m big into music , this is one of the main things that I like to do when I’m on the road .
Forgive me for sperging out on here , I’m just a lonely truck driver and have nothing better to do than write ✍️ a full page essay about such things .
Don't be ashamed of your opinion especially when it's so fitting to the feeling of this song. Real recognize real
Bro...you and I must really like a lot of the same stuff. I love old school 3-6 mafia, old crow etc...be safe out there bro
@@mattmurray9018
Hey man , that’s pretty cool , thanks.
I used to be big into Memphis shyt as a teen , it was real popular amongst the skater stoner cats down here in FL back in the early 2000’s .
Amen I’m from 276 myself there’s some places you just don’t go lol
It be 2019 in less than 24 hours and I'm still listening to good music here in KY. Anyone else or has ever one converted to that junk with a beat.

Love this song! One of my all time favorites. 😍
This is my kind of sound.Brings back memories of 1966-Present.Hits home
Easily one of their best songs, Old Crow knows how to do it!
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, THAT GUITAR IS SO FRIGGIN EERIE...
How can OCMS not be on every radio in the country!?
because people dont want to hear artists they want to hear producers. the sooner we kill the record labels the sooner real artists will start to succeed. long live the pirate bay.
Love this music, and I'm city boy from Seattle.
Makes me proud to have lived in Johnson City, TN.
this song is good...love the story and the EVERYTHING.
Best story I've ever heard
Thank you for someone finally reposting this!! The only other one as marked now as "PRIVATE". Thanks So Very Much this is one of the very best of OCMS!
Born and raised in Washington County, TN.

I know the stereotypes of the south in the states, finding it hard to believe. When such good music is made from the south, i find my self really intrigued to visit there than other places most people visit in the states such as new york or l.a.
Gives me chills...
makes you feel something
Saw em in concert in Knoxville, Tn. Absolutely Amazing 👏 ❤
Southern Carolina pusher
My dad was a union man for 25 years and was rewarded very graciously for all of his hard work. As a kid, he'd volunteer to work holidays, weekends, and early mornings and for the last 3 years he was promoted to Chief of his precinct.
I work in a non-union job cutting meat. I know just as many lazy managers making $60k a year as I do hard workers making $8/hr. Corruption and favoritism happen in all workplaces, union or otherwise.
This song kills me everytime
EAST Texas here, straight from the piney woods!
Im a gangsta ass foo outta SantAna,Orange County California and all i bump is gangsta rap... But Old Crow Medicine Show is my shit...def gonna have some songs at my wedding...
Naranjero 😎
If someone posts on YT how "gangsta" they are it makes them seem fake. Kinda like how if someone has to talk about how generous they are, it sounds fake - if they were so generous then other people would be talking about it.
This is a great tune. Totally dig the Tenessee Pushser disc, got some great songs.
I'm from stupid Massachusetts but this music can't help but speak to me..people aropund here think I'm F-ing crazy for listening to alot of this stuff but it's just so clean, pure and honest...cool stuff...(Mass. is the most liberal, fairy state in the nation no doubt...)
GREAT SONG!
But still i love tennesee now brother its beutiful country and good people up there we all southern blood and southern bred just saying the appalachians aint the only holler around.

Politics aside, this is a beautiful thing
What politics?
You talking about the band. Oh damn didn't know these guys where leftist gun grabbing facisist. No country band left that isn't super left wing. Yet they sing about right wing problems funny how that works out.
BLM supporters@@crazychase98
my ex wifes dad lives near charleston and ive seen many of them flying on the backs of trucks and thats why i find them funny is the main reason WV is a state is because the people in that area wanted to be a part of the union

I feel that same way im from Pulaski TN in Giles County on the Alabama line and im just thinkin that its time to take back the republic because the tyrants in office have proven that they should be ignored and we should institute and renew our republic. With true freedom.

100% agreed
Whoa. How full is this sound? Larger than a soft shadow stuck to a white wall unnoticed but present.
Roanoke VA. says this song, is fucking great.
Jellyroll mixed this track in his whiskey weed and waffle house mixtape! It kills but I love the original version too!
Clarksville, TN 👉 Music City, TN
Jellyroll's that dude! Respect brother
Yes!!! He's one of my favorites!!!
What track
I'm fucking in love with this song and band.
Went down to a handful of southern states and couldn't catch Old Crow. Just announced a few days ago their coming to Cedar Rapids IA. Right in my back yard! So excited! Hope to hear Tennessee Pusher, song makes me melt. Can't wait to see them, following them for years!!!! Sure the live show is spectacular

People often confuse Americana with country music.
I guess I do too...what's the difference?
@@heightsofsagarmatha The main difference comes from the music's background. Modern country is really just shitty rock music with southern accents, but Americana has a lot of influence from folk, RnB, bluegrass and of course country. I didn't really see the difference at a glance, and it's kinda hard to describe. It's just the feeling you get from it.
Americana ain’t no part of nothing… ask TTC
You ain't lived till you've listened to this song at night, out in boonies, down a gravel back road doing hard drugs! Two years sober now
3 years now? Congrats on your sobriety and excellent taste in music my dude.
Damn right man. Use to shoot up some glass out in the boons and listen. 8 years for me
