Saw him in concert here in Texas last month, only because someone offered me a free ticket; to be honest, I hadn't thought of Gino in many, many years. Boy, was I surprised! His voice, his band, his songs, his energy, all impressive! Since then I can't stop watching videos of him. The crowd loved him. His voice is really at the top of the heap.
GINO should’ve been inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!! He deserves in more than many that are ALREADY THERE!!! He had a UNIQUE SOUND that NOBODY ELSE COULD DUPLICATE…and was (and IS) an INCREDIBLE PERFORMER!!!!
One of the most talented and sexy entertainer there ever was. He didn’t need a big stage show for he was the show. While my friends were all into kiss and other rock bands I was hooked on Gino Vanelli. Priceless.

By the 80's the music industry reined him in with a whole lot of pop. But in the seventies he was playing inventive fusion/jazz/soul/rock/pop. He was at the head of the curve. Record execs are mindless for watering him down.
