She thought it was right over her head and he snatched it from her. The camera angle tells a slightly different story where it looks like it's in between the two of them, but slightly more towards her than him. Not really a big deal, though, and she got over it pretty quickly.
Same with me Connor until he spoke. Then again, maybe that person is female with a very deep voice. There's Dan White's next trick..... Can he tell if ambigiulos people are male or female without them talking :_.
She did have a pissed look on her face. She got scammed because she was a real audience member. Dude next to her was suppose to grab it no matter what happens. It’s staged
I was in the audience- a lot of us did say no to writing numbers because (for me at least) we didn’t. But- others might of. They did tell us before hand to - not sure when it happened. As for planting people- that didn’t happen. My friend caught the ball, he was my guest, he was not told to do anything it was completely random.
Fun fact: compare Dan’s handwriting of “2444” on the board with the “2444” he claims to have written beforehand inside the paper ball. Also the first three numbers, which conveniently add up to 11000, with the “2653” (compare the 2s for example). Great trick!
Also, the process for the Roots selecting their numbers was forced as well. There's no way that each of them had a different number. Either they all had 2653, or one of the first three numbers was duplicated and nobody had 2653.
Erik Kappelman No they never showed what was 4 digit was on each card. I’m pretty sure the stack of cards the roots chose form all had the same 4 digit number of them, hence why he just had them sit down without revealing which number they had
Ben Lebofsky Either the same number or the first three, repeated several times. These 3 numbers add up to 11000, it doesn’t matter which one the Roots get. But at least one of them is repeated, which is why we never see their numbers. The 4th one, the one below the black line or crease, no one gets it, because it’s written or printed AFTERWARDS, to match the numbers given by the 4 spectators (13653-11000=2653).
Reflexes. It was like when a drum stick was coming at me and my buddy from the stage and he caught it and I tore it out his hands and took it home. Reflexes LOL
Well, it’s the opposite actually. The fact that him (like all magicians, mentalists and so on) doesn’t win the lottery means that he can’t really make those predictions. It’s a trick remember? Who thinks that David Copperfield can really fly? But it’s ok, he doesn’t pretend he can, it’s entertainment. :)
I was in the audience (tan hoodie on the right of the my friend who first caught the ball) and I still have no fucking idea how he did this. Her and I talked about it after and we still don’t know. The audience wasn’t planted and the segment wasn’t edited in any way. They had us write down random four digit numbers prior to being seated but didn’t say what it was for.
Well there's only one thing you can do with a balled up piece of paper. But I did slo-mo every throw. The White Sox guy seemed pretty aggressive, like he HAD to catch it. But it would be one helluva no-look throw by the first guy.
