I don't think it is the dress she is worried about, it is quite long and she doesn't pay it much attention. She looks visibly pissed off. She wasn't going to move seat until Cordon basically said "move" and she didn't clap him or stand for him as he entered the room.

He effectively eliminates like 8 of the 10 most common images drawn. Leaving you with the Star. Most will draw a circle. He made everyone draw a circle as a means to narrow the choices.
There is no way in hell this is real... statically chances of whole audience drawing the same picture randomly is close to impossible... same thing for exactly 2 candles... yes the ring thing would be possible because he noticed that she talked about the ring. The pin, he noticed the 1 and then either took a shot with 1111 cause that leaves either a year, 1111 or 1234 or its fake too.

Magician here. These are all tricks and gimmicks, which start before the show starts in front of the public.
The Wise Uncle here on RUclips debunked Lior for the liar that he is. At the end of the day it's all tricks, which most magicians admit. Lior is one who adamantly claims he "understands psychology and how people think."

I was in the audience for this. When he asks us here at 8:40 to confirm whether or not he told us what to draw and that it's entirely "from our minds", it's only slightly true. He kind of did tell us what to draw. Before going into the studio, we were ushered in small groups into a room with him where he basically showed us a flipbook with a bunch of these weird shapes. He asked us to remember the one that jumped out at us the most when he flipped through the pages of the book very fast and to not share with each other which one we chose because we'd be asked to draw it later during the taping. I'm guessing we all noticed the star in the circle symbol because it was repeated the most inside the book or because he strategically flipped the pages so that it would pause on that page a second longer. He very likely showed James the same book backstage, which is why he drew it too. The part about the other symbols spelling out the word "STAR" was a surprise to us, though. But kind of a reach if you ask me. I think with a bit of reverse psychology and clever writing, this guy just kinda convinces you it was all a coincidence. The ironic thing about seeing this in person was realizing months later that this was the second time I'd watched one of his "illusions". I'd seen him on a different talk show four years prior, but didn't realize it was the same guy lol. He may be an illusionist, but he barely leaves an impression. And no, none of us were paid or plants. We didn't ask to be involved in this lmaooo

I feel like he speaks really fast is also part of his act, since people will become overwhelmed in trying to keep up with him and that tends to leave them with a blank mind, and thats the perfect moment to influence others, the easiest moment to put something in their heads

if your crazy like me and go back and view the beginning of the video a million times, you would notice that Lior Suchard already knew that she was down/not happy the moment he met her and had to greet her twice. also by the body language, Alice and harry doesn't seem like they get along so it probably the reason why she upset in the beginning, but one of the big factors I realised is Alice really does not feel comfortable in the entire video. maybe the atmosphere or the fact she is next to hyper caffeine man, or possible (highly possible) just doesn't want to be there.
Just for the record, Superman was created in Toronto, Canada by an artist named Schuster many years ago. And the big building The Toronto Star (a local newspaper building) became The Daily Planet.

I think he was “influencing” Alice Eve’s mind for that picture drawing the minute he got on stage. He doesn’t shake her hand but shakes the other two and then James Corden asks her to move to be in the middle. Then he’s showing off his hand a lot in front of her and she even points out his ring. She winds up drawing a hand in the middle of twO shapes..
usually I doubt magicians and think they just set stuff up beforehand but I really think he’s doing it!!
I noticed he elbow bumps her, when she doesn’t shake his hand. So he did have a slight contact to her.
And there are things we can't know. How did he influence her right before the show in the backstage?
He was asking the question what they should do (normal or dangerous) and she is the first one to answer without hesitation. Maybe he played some more strings before the show / during the preparations and that's another reason she is reacting kinda like cold / unfriendly at least according to the perception of the audience. ;)

@@joraku Maybe before the show they told her that she was going to have to move over when he comes in and she was offended because she didn't have much time sitting in the "main" interview spot. But really she had to move over so that he could wave his left hand with the ring in her face the entire time (lol). SO it kind of ticked her off but it was a ploy to get her to draw the hand.

Some people here have commented that Alice Eve was being rude.
It is important to note that she was going through a divorce from her highschool sweetheart at the time this was recorded.
With that in mind, the fact that she drew a hand with a ring which is something she specifically pointed out, is quite heartbreaking and shows how much that was affecting her.
It is unrealistic to expect of someone to be gracious 100% of the time especially under her circumstances.

This is what I noticed. Each time an audience member revealed their sign, nobody turned to see what it was. This goes against human nature. This is not natural.

It's possible they have a large monitor above the stage or something like that. I know they have to have something like that for most talk shows since in order to get the jokes, etc, you have to be able to see whatever graphics are being overlaid on the screen with the host, etc.
I've been to a show like this; the audience has big TV's that show what the camera sees, so they can see the drawing without turning their heads.
I think they were all staring at the monitor showing what we saw because it's easier to see things that way.

What's amazing to me is the drawings he did that spelled out STAR were mostly shown to us upside down or backwards. Aside from the cross, everything else looked like what he said, and didnt register as letters. Pretty cool how the mind works.
