After 2 days of trying to get an RCWL-0516 to work with an ESP32 LoRa board I'm giving up. The parts work fine separately but I get very inconsistent results once you start sending packets. I'm going to try using a PIR sensor. The Lora board works fine if you connect and disconnect the GPIO pin to 3.2v manually.
I wonder if the PIR sensor could be connected to the CDS to "turn on" the RCWL when the PIR trips. Use case would be for a priximity sensor to detect humans, in a battery powered device - so remaining passive while it's sitting could save a ton of battery life. There's also a security factor; not putting out unnecessary RF. This would also help reduce false positives as both sensors, independently, are trigger happy.
I find the hc-sr501 takes a few minutes to Calibrate before using not 12 seconds. I had trouble at the start I kept thinking the Sensitivity was set wrong. Great video thank you
Does the same Arduino code for pir sensor works for microwave sensor? Example, can I replace the pir sensor with the microwave sensor or do I need a diiferent Arduino code for motion detection?
How could we limit the area of detection/make it directional/reduce the area of its detective vision of RCWL-0516 Microwave Motion Sensor? Any material/techniques to surround it for this purpose?
Hello CETech, I am figuring out motion sensor use for commercial use, and think that ur advice and research might me useful to us, if u would like to be the part of it reply we can connect via email or such platform.
Thank you. Good explanation!
Thank you. Very clear explanation and I like you use different color pens to serperate the features.

You shared really working tutorial... Thanks🤩🤩🤩

Good explanation! Just a quick question...how do we eliminate/reduce false triggering of rcwl0516
you tried HB100 ?
does RCWL have the same function trigger as HC-SR501? thanks in advance
So do you know what the exact SMD Capacitor is for the required sensor to extend the trigger time?
Will have to try various values on that to set a required time frame
@@CETech4u can.you recognize a good capacitor ?
can we use pir sensor as a switch on the cds pin on rcwl?
Yes you can
Hi Friend, Which Sensor Not Detect the PET s and Animals. I Want Only Human Body Detecting Sensor. Which Sensor Decetect Human Body?
Nice name...
Camera based detection best one
