I have a budget of whatever, but I'm not giving my $ away to a company name. Period. Overpriced fanboy shit. Built in china. With top US pricing, for copied designs, stolen from other manufacturers. Typical American corperate tactics. I can afford it, and it's definitely in my budget. I can afford $2k for a good amp. Doesn't mean I want to pay it, for an overpriced name on the case. Some if us understand when we're getting ripped off.
I was on the phone with rockville earlier about how the db25 will do what I need for my subs and that I will wind up needing the db45 for my highs and mids once they are drowned out. I mentioned your channel to the guy and he was familiar with it. It's pretty cool to e able to find out so much info about an amp before you buy it. A complete turnaround from yesteryear when you buy and see what happens.
That was AWESOME! I'm an old school HiFonics addict, and when you opened it up to show the innards, I immediately thought VII and VIII Zeus! The signal processing components look very similar to the old 600W Zeus amps, but the power supply on this is GARGANTUAN! Just from a glance at the board, I thought this would be 300W x 2 RMS overall, and when it averaged over 400W per channel, I almost lost control of my bowels! I'm going to purchase one with February's VA pension check!
I'll recommend anyone to you channel to give spec on whatever amps there are interested in. welcome back and all the best for the new year. Sorry you're not in Jamaica.
Thank you very much!!! Because of you and a few others I got back into car audio. I bought the PPI 7000.1D amp because of your videos no joke. If it wasn't for people like you doing this people would be clueless on true amp power. That I think you for very much. That is the most positive thing I can say being I spent my hard earn money because of you and I was not disappointed in the PPI amp at all. Its powering my 3 RE:SE 12" subs as we speak. Now that 4 channel amp would go nice with my highs hahah. Again thanks.
@@Sans10987 no high amp alt yet. See I put it into a classic car that dont draw much amps to begin with unlike newer cars that have tons of options. I mean my car is so old it has points ignition hahaha. The amp seems to hold up very very well. I have (3) RE:SE 12's @ 0.67 ohm and it pushes them very good.
Love you dyno videos. Rockville amps are pretty damn good amps. After watching BigDs amp dyno run around 4 years ago I purchased one for my then 16 yo son , So you know it's had the living hell beat out of it!!!. He finally bought a pair of high end subs after he destroyed a couple sets and it's still running strong to this day. Rockville's no joke. They're a really good company.
I've run this amp for 6 months with kicker 6x9s and they are holding up amazing, maybe you're clipping them. I had to add another battery cause of this amp they're power hungry
Good to see you back. I just purchased. A db15 pushing a w12k9d4. Sound really really good for the money. Back in the day we would spend thousands. I've always been a bass head since 1993 so haven't fell to far from the bass of the tree. 5 kids and still trying to rectify my young heart. Much love for what you do. Craig
i have this as a mids and highs amp in a competition vehicle and people are constantly blown away when i show them the amps and they see rockville, class ab amps are awesome and this amp showcases that perfectly
Great videos. Straightforward, informative, and interesting. I'm 48yrs and always been a car audio guy. Never real technical. Appreciate you to help in that area and make it easy and clear to understand. YOU ROCK!!!
loving me some A/B power. Still running my Hifonics Zeus VIII... some of the best specs you could buy in 1992... and still sounds great. China amps won't last 26 years.
Glad you are back at it! I don't need an extra amplifier though...I have a 5 channel Rockville amp just sitting on my shelf, that was replaced by two Soundqubed amps. Cheers, Ryan!
So glad your back. I'm shopping now for a new 4 channel amplifier and I trust your judgment. I bought the dual 4 channel at Walmart after watching your show on it and it has done me right. I need more power and have had OK time with Rockville over the past couple years. Keep up the good work man!
Just getting into sq and your videos are helping me see what products are worth the money. Thanks for doing what you do. Hope this year is a good one for all of us!
Been waiting soooooo long for a new video. I love the dyno tests of amps. Great way to show clients results and to keep the car audio world more informed! Keep it up!
I'm glad you keep finding more variety of very affordable amps for average people who wanna save money but still have something worth having. Numbers on the box can mean anything but the dyno and videos put out show the truth.
Welcome back bud!!!! And thanks to you I decided to pull the trigger on a Deaf Bonce Apocalypse aak 2000.1D rite before Christmas, deaf bonce had a huge sale which was really nice! I ordered it from Down 4 Sound and I have to say I was very pleased when it arrived!!! Videos and pictures do it no justice!!! It is a very nice looking amp and very weighty!!! I'm putting her in tomorrow so I will be able to see how she sounds!!! Any who glad your back and doing well....
Super stoked to see you back making vids. These help us older budget minded folks find those budget gems to spend our hard earn dollars on. Looking forward to the subwoofer shootout with the power acustic bamf when you get it done.

Thank you for doing these dyno test for us budget people who cant afford the high end stuff .it helps with trying to get the best bang for the buck!! Happy New Year and thank you!!
Glad your back. I purchased the Rockville dual 8" tower speakers for my old boat and for the money they sounded great. If you haven't given away the four channel sign me up.
Just bought mine for $150 and it ROCKS!! Love it, and I can listen to my radio too!!! Class D AMPS interfere with FM, it seems pretty good so far, thanks
Glad your back man I missed the videos. When yah dont have a bunch of money to spend on amplifiers it's nice to know what i can afford and still get quality equipment
Happy New Year!!! Thank-you for keeping these companies at least somewhat honest!! By the way just a little fun fact... The Dual XPR82D is based upon a TDA8294TH output IC. If you look closely inside the amp you can see the black metal strip and screws that clamp the IC to the top heatsink!! The IC is on the back side of the board.
I'm glad you're back at it. I watched the previous episode that showcased the dB 14. I was so impressed by it that I bought it the next day. I definitely want the dB 45. I myself don't know how they're running their business either but hell, I'm not complaining one bit. Thanks for the video.
I've been using the same Acoustic brand amp and Rockford Fosgate subs now for 24 years and was thinking about giving the amp to my son and finding something else for myself. Lots of brands to choose from nowadays, and your reviews will help me decide. Thank you for your videos!

At least put me in the drawing. Thanks and keep them coming. It's nice to see what amps are really worth buying. Even some of the ones that fail are good amps if they would just stop all the lying about their power. Hopefully this will make them see the light. Have a great day.
Great Channel man it's nice to see someone doing the reviews and testing on these budget-friendly amps that way it helps us out knowing which ones to stay away from and which ones to purchase. Not everybody has a million dollars to buy top-of-the-line product so it's great to know that we can still have some quality music for a quality price.
