I bought the XAD15 a month ago.. it lasted 2 minutes before it caught on fire. Still waiting on replacement. Should be here Monday. Not necessarily their design. So I can't blame them. Just a China full bridge design with their logo on it, which are pretty prone to failure.
Just ordered the mvpa6 6-channel amp, 4g wiring kit and their x-style rca's. Thanks for the code it still works! Should wake up my center console boat.
I think the older models have overheating issues. Mine was heating up to the point of burning my fingers without even playing anything on it. And on eBay I usually see the monoblock versions for sale damaged or blown.
I've owned the NVX JAD800.4 for over 3yrs to power my all JBL setup of Stadium GTO 600C & GTO 20M front stage 3 Way Components and Stadium GTO 6x9's in the rear. This class D amp sounds accurate and I've had no desire to replace it with anything else. NVX makes awesome products!
I have thier VAD1000.1 amp Marine Certified amp on my two 10” Infinity Subs. No heating issues and never had a problem in two years. I have pushed them wide open for 3 hours on a drive with no issues. I did recently moved onto a Kicker Cxa 1200.1 because a open box deal for $260
Does the wires just plug in or do they have screw terminals like most amps? How do u bridge the amp if u can’t install ur own wires and also with the power wires, do u have to splice to the ones on the amp
Some of the best power and speakers wires I've ever bought was nvx and also have a really stout nvx super cap but I don't own any subs or amps nvx might grab a set of the beefy model need to see some more reviews that aren't paid.
Anyone has an opinion on NVX vs CT sounds? They are both the best budget builds out here in my opinion. CT also has released a 3 way component system!!! That’s the way to go if you are into SQ
@@jamesfalvey77 this is a 1000 watt 4 ohm braking resistor the same kind that are used in the amp dyno, but I have multiples in a computer case with banana plugs
@@HifiVega Hmmm, I wonder how that will compare to the high output of the VAD10004? I actually picked up the NVX 10004 then right after scored a really good deal on a Rockford Fosgate T1000-4adcp so I haven't used the NVX amp yet.. I know the two amps are not in the same class as one another being the T1000-4adcp is an absolute BEAST but I can imagine that the VAD10004 is fairly close in power. As always, love the videos from you and Big D Wiz
I love these lesser known brands stepping up and competing with the big boys. NVX is definitely a no joke brand!
Yeah, they’re stepping out of the shadow of Sonicelectronix house brand status for sure.
I definitely think NVX is slept on. Haven't had a bad experience yet with them.
I agree

So update on replacement amp. So far no problems. Sounds super clean and loud!

Awesome! Thank you for using the code
I have both the a2 and the a6 and i'm not impressed with the output...could be better. These amps run too hot for my liking also.
nice amp
🤙🏼
Just got mine in the mail today. I’m using in on my 2021 Can Am Commander with 4 Kicker 8” speakers.

You ever have an old RF? Those dudes got hot
@@HifiVega
I actually never owned anything by Rockford Fosgate, but if it’s a hot dude, I’m not taking it. Lol
I have installed a s owned a few nvx products and haven't had any issues. I will say the aren't the greatest for the price
Every nvx product I've bought out performed it's ratingss. I condier them a great value brand in general for ur hard earned money.

I was nvx fan after hearing there jad amps and working with there wiring kits. Great stuff 👏
I think people would be surprised if they gave them a shot
@@HifiVega there line output converters look bad ass. And the price awsome. I reallyblike audiocontrol but its good to have options.
Very good amplifier
Didn't realize was marine amp and yes tons of marine "rated" amps are fantastic for cars

Killer video homie
Thanks bro

Great amps
Solid little performer. One of those stuffed in the dash pushing a front stage would be awesome.
Tiny and beefy all in one
Thanks for the coupon code!

That looks like a solid amp, NVX seems to be an up and coming brand.
They’re out there quietly putting out solid product
The gain is adjusted for each channel through the sensitivity knobs? Or is there a master gain?
I was impressed with kicker key amps this one is impressive too great mids and highs amp and even run a sub.
This one is a different animal, but if you need more power this one would be the pick.

They have some great wiring options.
Have you tested their VCW subs?
Not yet
@@HifiVega they have that SQ look on their cones. Curious how much power they can take

I feel like they both have their own bright spots
Would like to hear your opinion on the bright spots on both sides
Reminds me of the rf t400x4. And at half the price
Yeah it is kinda similar
I got there five chanel and two eights. Haven't hooked it up yet . Still in planning stage . They seam to be well made
They are solid amps imo
Nice, I like their amps. Typically they sound very good imo.

Curious as to what you are using as a dummy load for the amp?
The 1000 watt version of this

Sorry, I missed that you added a link. My bad
Are you limited to 4 ohm? Or did you buy multiple?
Did you happen to get the NVX VAD10004 in that shipment from them? I purchased one but haven't used it and am really curious on how it does!
I will have a video coming out in the vad 5 channel
