- The video portion is separate from the audio and is purely for aesthetics. Also the stylus used for archiving these recordings is a .7mil not a 1mil so the records are not harmed during playback even though the grooves of these records are .5mil in diameter .7 should be an acceptable size for playback so that all of the frequencies of the recordings will be picked up during playback. Hope you enjoy the video. and check out my other channel EverythingRetro1. Also the record player used in this video has a .7 mil diamond stylus tracking at an acceptable tracking force, so the record is not being harmed :)
Some of these records were very worn which resulted and some audible distortion. I did my best to bring these recordings back to life :)
Not only do you know how to play the music on the "old" equipment but you know how to set the mood too with your backgrounds. Your aesthetics are spot on. Nice job. Your a bit of an old soul with a gift. Keep it up.
So relaxing. Nothing on the radio today is like this. When I was a child in the 1960's this music was very common.
This is music from the before time, before the world went mad.
I play this in my bluetooth headset at work to drown out the anodyne computerized yodelling that plays non-stop in the hallways where I work. Its supposed to be music, I guess, but its merely repetitive bleating noises in the same few tone changes in each song, accompanied by a simple computer generated percussion. The "singers" either sound brain-dead and monotonous, or else hysterical, to the point where they cant breathe. Its as if mental illness itself decided to make music.
Anyway man, you are helping to keep me sane by avoiding exposure to that shit, and I sincerely appreciate it.
Your description is right on target. In my description, some of it sounds like you need an anti-bacterial shower just hearing it. Oh, if you want the best female pop singer ever, try Helen Forest. She was with Harry James and Benny Goodman.
You hit the spot on 'today's ' music, which isn't actually music but sound wave interference. The vise-grip yodeling makes me want to puke. Now, you need a better machine to play your Seeburgs.. Those 9" disks had a very tiny groove and required a 0.1 mil stylus that is difficult to find these days. I have hundrecs of those Seeburg disks and love them. I hope you love yours too.
Surprise! Those singers you talk about? They really ARE brain-dead. Also, as you already knew, they can't legitimately be considered singers, because that takes talent, and, they have none, hence the 12 people it took to write the song.
I found Fardemark just a few days ago. I am a total Metal Head, Metallica, Slipknot Rammstein. However I've found this and 60's - 70's Lounge and Easy Listening music do wonders for me at work. I can focus and let the music take me back to when we could find this on the FM dial. Growing up this was on the radio while I read piles of scifi comics.
same here, except more of a punk/alternative rocker. Love your channel!!
It takes a lot of skill to create a fully immersive mood with sound and video. Perfect lighting, composition etc. fantastic job!
Thanks, I used a better camera since VHS is not really early 60s lounge :)
Music is the best and definitely nostalgic reminds me of mid- sixties easy listening back ground restaurant music .
Watching a detective movie
Have a good day and
This entire video is a true testimony of how pitiful today's world and music has gotten.
This was back when it was really a wonderful thing to be alive and part of our socity.
Well that is rather sad. But all too true. Social media is not a replacement for being part of a society. It is not how we were meant to communicate.
@@marmaly Well said and conveyed. 👍

0:56 theme.. Makes me think I'm a rich man, no financial worries, have a happy family, its cold outside, but I feel fine. I'm quietly reading a book and my wife comes with 2 glasses of brandy... My life is perfect. :)
This is a collection of songs from 3 early 1962 seeburg mood records
Fardemark What’s your intro song? I love it!
I wish I knew. I tried using shazam and got no results.
Awesome stuff! Love your channel!
Thanks :)
Great channel. Images match the vibe. Thanks for the treasure
Best intro on RUclips!! Or television for that matter. 😁😁😁👍👍👍
Tim Kennedy agreed
Strangely addictive, isn't it. Love it.
I may have said this previously, so please forgive my forgetfulness. But this music is truly a verdant oasis in a vast wasteland of noise. Many, many thanks for your wonderful channel. I am a subscriber and frequent listener.
Excellent as I really appreciate your effort and collection. I would like to request on the future videos to raise the sound level and let the listener determine what sound level to listen. Otherwise, with the lower level sound like a recording of a recording.
To all the listeners, I once had a conversation with a radio station programmer who explained the difference of "Stress" and "Non-Stress" music. It never matters what time period were in. Naturally, there is a time to pump it up with other music genres, Rock , Dance, Punk, Alternative, and so on with "Stress" music formats. Listening to "Non-Stress" has its beautiful place to allow you to comfortably relax. Then, when you go back to the "Stress" music, you enjoy this even more. Our society is always "Stressed" and we need the balance. Thanks Fardemark!
The best work-from-home music on RUclips! Love your channel...and so do my cats.
Two hours of heavenly music with that delicious vintage good vibes? HUGE LIKE and thank you,my friend! Congrats! …I will listen to this at least 50 times,as I always do with your "soundtracks of my dreams..." from Italy.
Music to read blogs by. Should be wine, woman and candle light, but such is modern life for today's bachelor.
I wish workplaces play this kind of music
LOVE THIS VIBE SO MUCH! I feel like an old lady reading a book in my living room.
I once picked that exact couch of a pasture. It's back was broke so I mended it and it served us very well for years before I retired it for our new 40's model. We coverted a cousin into a dog bed and our dog sleeps on it every night.
I am so glad I found your channel! Beautiful music, high quality, the whole shmear! Thank you so much for showing the world what good music is! Subscribed!!
i said once , and repeat again... YOU'RE A LEGEND!!!🤲🏻🤲🏻🤲🏻
Thank you for making videos like these!! My family and I listen to them almost every day, and they make us really happy. ❤🎉
This is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING to enjoy listening to, astounding and very different...
This will be playing as soon as I hit the office tomorrow - thanks man!!!
Your welcome :)
You are giving us all a wonderful service! Thank you so much. My new favorite channel!
Really love the retro music you upload, perfect music for any environment!
Have really been enjoying your videos, great music to study with and imagine the world that existed below the speakers when it was first played.
I love it. I am going to listen to as much of this awesome video today as I can and listen to the rest tommorow. You are my favorite RUclipsr.
Thanks :) You posted earlier this was your favorite series and I happened to have 3 mood records so I figured for a change I would post more mellow music to give the channel some contrast.
I have yet to come across a 1959 Star seeburg record. RUclipsr Drh4683 is the only one that has uploaded those rare gems. Also getting a hold of a 59 pressing is very expensive. Here is the only known mood record from 59 I ever got to hear a track fromruclips.net/video/aaT3HVqezxc/видео.html
Ha I spoke too soon I just found one from a German ebay seller for only $25 plus shipping in near mint condition. What a score! :) I will definitely post this on the channel in the near future when I get it in the mail
It's Record #9 from the Mood 59 series
@@Fardemark That was 25 dollars well spent in my opinion, these records are worth every penny in my opinion and look forward to hearing. I have a rare 1950's 16 2/3 rpm background record produced by Audiobook records made during their brief experiment with issuing music records. I paid around 20 dollars for that seven-inch record, worth every penny in my opinion considering how rare they are given how few of them apparently sold. I will be digitizing and uploading some of my Seeburg records. I have several Mood records I have yet to digitize. I also have some records from their Christmas series.
Cool definitely upload the Christmas ones during the holidays. I only have one Christmas seeburg from. 1965 :)
Excellent work! Even some Cadkin & Bluestone [later library] tracks on Seeburg!
Thank you so very much for this awesome music! Absolutely LOVE this 😊👍
I miss those old 4-speed turntables. 78-rpm made voices on 45 and 33 sound like mice while 16-rpm made these same voices sound like monsters. Or in the case of the Chipmunks, 16-rpm allowed you to hear David Saville's natural voice performances for Alvin, Simon, and Theodore.
5:40 I LOVE YOU, 20:16 STARS IN YOUR EYES (MAR), 27:35 POLKA DOTS AND MOONBEAMS, 48:12 FOOLS RUSH IN, 51:18 EBB TIDE, 53:50 THE SHADOW WALTZ, 58:45 NOW IS THE HOUR, 1:10:45 I WISH I WERE IN LOVE AGAIN, 1:22:19 THE DIDN'T BELIEVE ME, 1:29:50 I'LL GET BY, 1:48:20 BY THE LIGHT OF THE SILV'RY MOON.

Awesome! Very well done! Relaxing and the 'best' of the favorites from long ago
I just got done swapping out my Christmas records out of my machines and I put the Basic mood and industrial back in. I like the early ones myself, I have this one to. this ones from 1960. They started putting the year on in 1961
This is so wonderful! Thank you for putting it together.
This is a really enjoyable mood mix; well done, and thank you!
Found channel 0 perfect bliss from nothing at all - thanks
Love the Zenith Royal 500 owl eyes AM radio About 75.00 in 1958 money for an AM only radio.
That was lovely, thank you!
Excellent!!! MERCI!!!
THANK YOU. GOD BLESS YOU.
i really find this music so fun and soothing i play this at my work at night hotel,
Me too! I work a convenience store overnight shift - I'd much rather hear stuff like this than that crap that pours out of a radio today.
@@xaenon This comment makes me want to visit your store!

I take so much kidding on liking this vintage music.Let's see I'v heard comments like "Music for Ward and June Cleever to get lucky by","Music to make your kids go to bed early by" and :Music to play because if you don't there'll be an arguement by.No matter what is said in good fun this is music made by human hands and not a computer keyboard.
Thanks for the mix 💕
Yes please and thank you kindly good sir
wonderful job, thanks for share.
Thank you so much for this!
Oh my God! I love it!
💓😍
1:02:00 "near you " a #1 hit in 1947.
Thanks for sharing, Boo.
@58:46 "now is the hour" another very old goodie.
Maybe you happen to know what plays around 32-34 minutes? I’d be grateful to know... what an era of great music it was.
You made me happy.
Bel suono caldo: in vinile bella musica, si riscopre il vero sapore del suono originale, comunque bravo
Músic with best quality.
2:07:59 is a rendition of "Rustic Dance". Lawrence Welk's version appears on a Kmart reel from 1973.
This will be my heaven when I die next year
Lovely.
16:05 - This tune also appears as the first track on Mood 6-A from 10-1-1959.
I beg to differ with you sir....YOU are the caretaker...you've always been the caretaker.
thank-you, Grady :)
Love it thank you
@32:50 blue skies - love this song.
Got it, thank you! Asked about it under your different comment.))
I'm not into the whole furry fandom thing and I think that, tbh, a lot of them are degens... but you're one of the good ones, Fardemark!
This channel is a gem, and I hope many more people discover it in the near future. Thank you for providing this wonderful music.
Any idea what the song at 38:25 is?
UPDATE: I found the name. It's "Heavenly" by Carolyn Calcote.
1:25:57 and now here's a big hit non stop 30 minutes on the radio.
First track is "When We Were Sweet Sixteen".
My goodness. There are ads interrupting the music. Very unfortunate.
1:01:55 - Near You
Note: This also appears on Mood 1-A from 10-1-1959.
How to do this Art?
What kind of tools needed?
Its a great work, thank You so much for it.
1:48:20 a sweet version of " silvery moon"
1:48:22 - By the Light of the Silvery Moon

The bottle and the ashtray are missing :)
1:41:11 the original is from the Ink Spots - i dont want to set the world on fire, but whats the Name on this Version?
27:30 - Polka Dots and Moonbeams
👍👍👍🎧👍👍👍. 🎧❤️🎧
This is honestly so perfectly made and the atmosphere in the video captures the mood exquisitely
2:04:00 April Love
Who is the artist (and title of the song) that you use in the introduction of this video? (Before the Seeburg music starts)
After 5 minutes the record ended. Why is the music still playing?
I wish I knew the name of the first song.
What is the intro song called?
Wonderful music. Hey, you, mexican supermarkets like Vallarta, El Super, NorthGate, La Superior, La Superior, etc. Use this kind of music instead of Paquita la del Barrio, banda, corridos or nortenas
Replace no.3 = 7-1-60
I'm sorry to differ with you sir, but you are the caretaker. ..
Fardemark please, tell us a bit about your RUclips Name 🙏🏻
well i just kind of made it up in my head :)
@@Fardemark And here I thought it was Danish or something... :)
