Two small things just whacked me in the head....hearing the disk drives in the Apple chatter when you turn it on, and seeing the record flop down and hit the turntable. Haven't seen those things happen in about 40 years....just brings back interesting memories.
Wow! The first track is a cover of 1977's "I Feel Love" by Donna Summer. The legendary Giorgio Moroder helped to shape contemporary synth pop with that song.
at 21:12 that song breaks out into trippy juxtaposed melodies. It actually sounds like something from contemporary electronica. Very cool. Samplers... there be gold here.
Greetings from Vietnam, Fardemark. Until you came along, it was muzak bits and pieces, but rarely anything I could leave on for hour after glorious hour. I'm on page 300 of a book that I've been writing for months. Fardemark has supplied the soundtrack.
1:17 - "I Feel Love" by Donna Summer Notes: This also appears on an Upbeat Library record (UP-102 from R-82/4-1-1980). This is also Paul Mauriat's version.
Love the music and all the work you put into these videos, nailed the aesthetic 110% dead on. Also, nice Spread Thy Wings vinyl in the background :D Love those guys
I get up from the stack of paper at my desk and go to the elevator to step outside to get some air. As the doors close in front of me I hear this music as I avoid eye contact with those I work with.
Greetings from high up in the atmosphere where the air is rare! Well, Fardemark. Until you came along, it was muzak bits and pieces, but rarely anything I could leave on for hour after glorious hour. I'm on page 300 of a book that I've been writing for months. Fardemark has supplied the soundtrack.
I really love your channel. Forever I was trying to find more muzak and then found your channel and it's been smooth sailing ever since! Can I make one request? Please add a song list. Or have a couple stills in the beginning of the album cover or LP with the songs. I don't always care, but sometimes there are some rocking ones and I want to know what they are. 54:15 for instance!
That was my EXACT first computer set up! Just need the Lexicon 300 baud acoustic coupler modem and the RX80 printer and it would be complete! I miss that drive sound.
i will have to keep my eye out for those accessories. I am a big electronic/vintage computer collector. I have a TRS 80 model 3 and several Commodore computers too :)
@Fademark , In Canada fighting evil with a sling shot and a pen, Thanks for the unmatchable writers tracks ....no words to influence the course minds storm ....ill admit you cant batch those wicked thermals though Pal.... Love and unmatched respect as well God Bless, PLZ KEEP EM COMING
Your channel is a real treasure. always bugs me that people call stuff like this elevator music. Most elevator music you find is this like ambiance. You get like three instruments playing really boring notes that just repeat over and over. REAL muzak is actually catchy and has purpose. there are melodies and stuff. Probably a lot of it has to do with the fact a lot of music is like instrumental versions of real actual music, but still I think there's a lot more love and talent in all this seeburg/muzak stuff.

@@DaBraxMan Not sure but, from the sound of the recording. Definitely not a Django Reinhardt /Stéphane Grappelli collaboration...it is too "Modern" sounding and it doesn't have Django.
Guy Fox i tend to select the best tracks from each record after I record and edit the audio from the direct capture from the records I then take those tracks and shuffle them in a big playlist then record the visuals then lastly I combine the audio and video clips to make an entertaining video for my channel

yeah it's a very good album. The track bigger sounds like a classic Boz Scags track from the mid to late 70's
