Kulu has strong dembele vibes. The strength, the awareness, cleverness and the unwavering confidence up and down the middle of the pitch... we've been waiting for this sort of dominance from a player for a while now.
Great strong win from a performance that has been building with every outing . Yes sure Werner had his chances, but he worked extremely hard on & off the ball and just needs the fans to keep supporting his efforts and you never know , he might get a lot better as the team keeps building 😊
Much as Werner missed his opportunities, he kept getting in great positions, he used the ball well , his pace was frightening. One of the best games I’ve seen him play but people are gonna focus on his misses .. I still give him a 7/10.. just two poor finishes
They are celebrating the final score because they are performance blind and only see the final score. Ange is firmly focused on improving performance. He does not waver.
There is this narrative that Spurs just attack, attack, attack and don't defend. I saw a moment where we had 9 players defending. Ange and Spurs are evolving as they should. This season, for example, we have conceded only 1 goal from corners, and who scored it - Gabriel from a push on Romero.
I was a bit dubious about Solanke, especially when he was out after one game, but I think he's really tying the team together. Allows everyone to do Angeball properly, as well as having a proper poacher's instinct. Yet to see anything glamorous, but if he just scores 20 tap ins this season I'll be over the moon.
Glory Glory was our song before United used it, and for me for as a supporter for over 60 years it my first choice rather than When the Spurs come marching on witch we nicked off Southampton.
Who's swapping Solanke for Toney? Pre-season also saw a discussion on selling Kulu or Bentancour for an upgrade. I do regret selling Lo Celso for nothing, but glad we held on to Spence rather than give him away. All said this is a club with a clear vision so it makes signings obvious. Loan moves for Donley, Devine, Abbott Scarlet, Phillips etc shows a team learning from youth mismanagement of the past. Ange most def in, haters out. We will miss Bentancour when the ban falls, but hopefully he is still qualified for the Europa Leage (no idea).
Spurs didn't bring Werner in to be a striker. Should he make some of these one V ones? YES! but as a winger let him give the service and we will score goals bc he's there. Remember how so many wanted Johnson out. Enough with our fans not being behind their players.
It's starting to fall into place now for Ange but such a long way to go. I do believe we will get some silverware this year. Even if Bruno F wasn't sent off we would have still thrashed them
Don’t tell anymore but has it been forgotten that VdV did exactly the same against Everton….. watch for early blocks in future games. But what a player
That was easy peasy lemon squeezy. The only reason why that was only 3 - 0 was cuz Werner was playing. If Son was playing instead, that would have been 6 - 0
Yes, you could see the clarity in the structure at the set ups. Very pleasing and I imagine that will only strengthen in weeks to come. I think Solanke has added greatly to set ups, was it only me who saw Solanke giving directions? I’ll have to watch the game again
Hi 👋 Barnaby ! Praise the Lord that was enjoyable! I want to say that I feel like LOLO isn’t getting the credit he deserves football wise !!! I prefer him so much to Busd in there. He’s quicker Biss and has better passing range. He’s a massive reason why we’re playing better cause accelerates play through the lines !!! Also Werner should be respected for the pressing and effort he puts in. That’s not debatable imo. Let’s hope he finds some kind of form cause we’re gonna him need him regardless whether fans love him or hate him. Maybe he has a little run at least.
It was a good result but it was only Manchester United . Need to keep the progression going . Agree about Werner actually played quite well and at least got in the right positions . Why do some of our fan base love destroying players rather than get behind them ?
Watching a player whose lost belief in himself is torturous, I expect Ange will keep with his plan for Timo. Not so many weeks ago Brennan was struggling with missed opportunities.
We battered them. Even if there were 11 players on the pitch we would have battered them. I would say that it wasn't a red card. But it wouldn't have made any difference.
He worked hard all game and his lack of confidence is the only reason he didn’t score from those 3 chances. I also saw improvement and resilience. I hope Ange rewards Timo with another starter role. Let young Moore develop in the cup and Euro games.
Good thing Ange and the players only concern themselves with their own game play. They access who worked hard, what players linked up, what or who needs extra refinement and then measure the performance against stage-gates and benchmarks. Improvement from these assessments will only come in training sessions and ultimately on game day. No manager of any worth looks at the worthiness of the opposition. Which is what you just did! Man U clearly went into that game not respecting Tottenham, prior to the game every Man U social media contributor stated their line up was top shelf and the game was the 3 points needed to get their season back on track. Son being out was all they were concerned about. I watched 5 Man U posts. I also think vdV got the player of the game not just because of his amazing steal, break away and cross but because he completely broke an already undisciplined Man U in the first 2 min.
So as a Spurs supporter I should be happy that we beat a non-league club 3-0? What a ridiculous thumbnail. The stupidest thing I’ve read for a while. Are you trying to praise us?
Timo was brought in when we had no one to come in and cover the forward line. If you can’t see how hard he worked in this game then I think you’re being disrespectful. It wasn’t that long ago when Richie was struggling with confidence and Ange along with the team supported him and if he wasn’t injured I’d expect he’d be out there scoring. Timo just needs some belief in himself. I guarantee Ange gave him positive feedback at half time and told him to keep taking his opportunities. I also believe Timor will be given some more minutes in many more games.
FOUR on the trot, yes, but looks at the opposition.Spurs should beat those teams every day of the week. Some of those 4 were far from convincing.A LONG way to go till TH can get near the CL places.
Which part of ‘rebuilding’ the team are you struggling with? Have you even listened to what Ange has repeatedly said in nearly every press conference and interview? The win is for fans to enjoy, it’s not Ange’s measurement of success. It appears you are so steeped in negativity you don’t see that the philosophy of Ange ball is starting to click. There are rhythms, linkings and patterns of play that are now happening in games even when we are down to 10 players.
@@denisewilson9783 LOL, yeah MATE..I saw him as a player AND I saw his Australian teams, japanese team, scottish team...When he has the superior players, he can win but sometimes its difficult even with those players.rejoice when SPURSY beat someone GOOD!
Winning on Man U’s home ground is an achievement for this team, it was validation that attacking football creates a pressure all on its own. If you only see score lines you’re not seeing the big Ange picture.
Definitely!!! No more ill talk about Ange or any of the Tottenham players.
Support the Manager and this team ❤️
I like that Ange brought on Bergvall - showed he saw belief in him and that pulling him off in the midweek game didn’t mean anything
That corner!!!! ❤
He brought him off to strengthen the teams defensive profile after Dragus sending off.
Love Kulu as a no. 10 , Johnson and Micky great, special mention to Bentancur...who was excellent!

Yep, whats more his team mates kept feeding him the ball which shows me they support him and want him on the pitch
Ange overlooked Man Utd do not yet have planning approval for a new stadium and jumped the gun with this demolition
Much as Werner missed his opportunities, he kept getting in great positions, he used the ball well , his pace was frightening. One of the best games I’ve seen him play but people are gonna focus on his misses .. I still give him a 7/10.. just two poor finishes
This performance was an absolute joy! Proper Spurs today lads, its who we are 😄👏🏻🤍
Where are the sack Ange trolls?

Ange out now,
Beating ManU is not an achievement

Because of him it was 3 down and not 6 or 7 goals down.

Has everyone forgotten that VdV's run was not unique? This is the second time he's done it this season
Its unique because he doesn't do that in every match.
@@PepsiColaRhapsody unique means nothing similar or the same. The run v Everton was very similar

Honestly easily could've been 4:0 if Werner sunk his chances
he will in time
Brighton's coach is about as old as Ben Davies
Kulu should be the first name on the team sheet.
Are there still fans who want the manager out now?😂
Great win and ya MU is struggling but god Timo is brutal. Wasted opportunities will kill us against better clubs.,
Watching a player whose lost belief in himself is torturous, I expect Ange will keep with his plan for Timo. Not so many weeks ago Brennan was struggling with missed opportunities.

KULU… is a WORK HORSE
Tent peg has lost the players and were perfect for spurs today, could of been 5 or 6 really 😊
Alas, Werner... I've defended him. He shouldn't start. He should only ever come off the bench late. Start Moore instead when Son is rested.
