yeah the colossus got hands fun fact your class is the best to take it down if you parry it's slam & with the reflect passive it MELT like 10% of it's health with each slam, bonus point if you have the changs ability that make you auto parry for 8 sec at max level (it does work with the reflect passive) Also for bandits you can go all out & pray that it's attacks miss otherwise you can go the coward way & spam dash around it like a dark soul game, do chip damage & pop a bomb every now & then Mystics can just spam restora, divine & the magic shield to tank everything (they struggle to do damage & are very squishy tho)
As someone with slow reflexes, I couldn't really progress solo after the first two areas due to the speedy combat. But I appreciate seeing what lies ahead in your videos.
Yeah, in general the ideal level for dungeons seems to be more of a middle point between the "level range" rather than the the minimun, aka the actual best level to try this for the first time is 17 or 18 rather than 15 or 16 x,d, it just too painful this way And that makes it even more impressive that you even manage to beat Colosus, props to you champ The best armour pre-colosus is drop by the previous boss (the one from catacombs 12-18) and it requires level 18 to be use, the one that drops from this one requires level 21 o_o
Yup that was basically my first run through the Grove lol after getting closer to the upper end of the level suggested by the dungeon it gets way easier though. It also helps playing a mystic lol
You're right about that assumption: you cannot parry enemies if they're several levels higher than you. It's why LVL 1 players keep missing the LVL 10 Sanctum sandbag.
A fellow lefty playing this game! It's always fun looking at each person's keybinds. I use a mouse-keyboard controller, and C is my item button as well XD. Very entertaining video! Crescent Grove is truly terrifying Also: You can make the character left-handed as well :3
As of like January 5 2025 there's no elemental typing system, so fire does the same damage to everything. What is worth noting however is that while most enemies in the game have a slight difference between their physical and magic defense (usually +/- 5 or less), the monolith and carbuncle both have a much larger gap (monolith is 35/24 phys/mag def, carbuncle is 16/30), so tailor your skill rotations accordingly.
The maws are the ONLY enemy in the game that i can not consistently parry as a MAX lvl fighter including the maxed bulwark passive Their ranged and close up attack animations look to similar
The pain of the crescent grove!

I really love the quality of life updates that the dev rolls out. Adds so much to an already great game!

Playing the ADHD GAME and having an ADHD EDIT STYLE is crazy. I Love it❤

You can choose to leave the dungeon after clearing it w/o battling its boss. It may be worth clearing it once w/o a boss attempt.

At lvl 20 with a bandit character that has 150hp this dungeon still gave me headaches. 😅
Bro you were SOOOO under-leveled. It's recommended to be at least level 18 and have 100 health
Poons strong together
get divine.
WHY IS YOUR HEALTH SO LOW
