    Great idea for a video! I didn't know many of these, it's very simple but just knowing them opens all doors for researching and learning them!
    Thank.

      Yes, when you want to learn them, the Japanese names are much useful than translated ones to search google👍

    Nobisha, when my opoonent steals my rook early in the game xD

      I forgot the Outebisha(王手飛車)! It’s not stealing but losing Hisha easily 🤣

      Yes. But bishop has few names. Probably everyone loves rook than bishop 😂

      @@shogiramentv64 Rook seems to give name to at least half the things happening on the board😂 but I don't have much prejudice against bishop. Both rook and bishop are so versatile in shogi, they can be dropped anywhere, promoted, and do so much! 😊

    Chuzabisha is chiefly in yokofutori, I guess. Normally we could say takabisha

    • @shogiramentv64
      @shogiramentv64  8 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you for the comment! Yes, chuzabisha is used in Yokofudori.
      Nowadays we don’t use takabisha because takabisha has bad meaning in Japanese. So Japanese people are using just 85飛車, 25飛車.

      @@shogiramentv64 ohh, what an interesting information! Now I wonder, what does it mean in Japanese - takabisha 🤣🤣🤣

    • @shogiramentv64
      @shogiramentv64  8 месяцев назад +2

      @asianchess Takabisha means arrogant attitude to others. The position of rook at 85 is near opponent area, therefore it was said takabisha in the past😂

      @@shogiramentv64 only arrogant? I was imagining more things 😂
      Anyway I wonder if you know Ranma ½ the old anime (I used to watch as a kid/teenager). He is engaged to Akane Tendo, their fathers always play either shogi or go between them... and looking for the word "takabisha" I just found out he also uses that expression in one of his martial attacks 😂 shogi was there from the beginning, only I didn't know!

      What an old anime you know! I watched it when I was kid but I don’t remember anything 😂 Probably takabisha had more meanings when the anime was made as you said.

    Hi, i didn't immediatly recognized the subway rook 😅
    if you mention Chuza 85 rook strategy, then let me also mention Nakahara's rook strategy (5th rank floating rook in ai gakari) 😃

    • @shogiramentv64
      @shogiramentv64  8 месяцев назад +1

      I have never heard Nakaharabisha. I think only Shogi Wars Master knows this name😄 Nakahara Gakoi is famous.
      Subway rook would be better name than Chikatetsubisha. When you are starting to stay in Japan, you could pronounce Chikatetsubisha soon.
