There are all very nice guys. During the 80s and 90s I was a concert photographer and I would hang out with all the different rock bands and I met Def Leppard the first time on the very first tour in America and then about five or six times more every show that I got to, and they were always regular guys, just like you and me. They did have great stories to tell about different things going on in their lives. It was a lot of fun and I’m working on the book. I’m working on a book of all the different rock bands from the 80s and 90s with my photographs and a few stories here and there about the different going on backstage and their buses.
It blows my mind that a short 10-15 years ago Def Leppard was playing town fairs and now they're back to playing stadiums! It's great that people are remembering that bands like DL are fucking *great* bands!
Saw them in 1988 at the Frankfurt Festhalle, for free in a Walmart parking lot back in 2002 in Fayetteville, NC. At The Joint in Vegas in 2013. A year later at Walnut Creek Amphitheater opening for KISS. They’ve definitely slogged it out!👍🏻👍🏻
10-15 years ago we went to see them every year at venues that held 15-20 thousand people. In 2005 (19 years ago) pre-Arnel Journey supported them in a show we saw at a 20k venue. the two bands began taking that bill to stadiums a few years ago. I saw DL at the (newer, bigger) Joint in Vegas during their 2 week residency there in 2013 as well, then saw them that summer in an 18k amphitheater. They really have been playing large and larger venues for a long long time.
@@GuiitarBilly 2008 they were playing state fairs. A simple google search will show you that they went from playing arenas, to state fairs, to smaller sheds, to arenas again and now stadiums

As long as I live, I'll never forget the 1st time I saw Def Leppard: June 3, 1983 at the Capital Centre outside of DC. Graduated High School the day before, and headed off to Ocean City for Grad Week the next day. What a time to be alive, and Def Leppard was such a huge part of that. Saw them probably another dozen times over the years since, and they'll always be my favorite band.

Amazing that in June of 1983, I saw Def Leppard at the Allentown Fairgrounds. I was 16. They played Z-95 djs in the usual charity soccer game. "Pyromania" was everywhere back then. Superb album then, superb classic album now. Last time I saw them was in Phila years ago.
6 of us fly into SD in about 11 days to see this show. Saw Vivian playing with The Last In Line last year in a tiny venue and I was 10 ft from him all night long and he was having a blast. Hershey concert on 7/25 was INCREDIBLE! Was hoping to hear Comin' Under Fire but maybe the next time they come back around. Joe, Phil, the Ricks and Vivian sounded fantastic. True rock gods! Thank you for continuing to come out and play/sing your hearts out for us year after year. We love you and your awesome, timeless music. Joe, Happy Birthday today!
Love how Phil was standing right next to that DL fan, in his foolproof disguise, and she didn't recognise him! 😄
I just saw them in Pittsburgh. It was an amazing show.I'm so glad that they were on tour
Awesome they went on the Chicago River architectural tour. It's frickin' amazing! Highly recommend everyone check it out if you can.
Cleveland show was fabulous!
Hello there, good day to you and it's nice seeing you here.
I'm a Def Leppard fan, and a storm chaser.
When I realized that you guys would have been on stage (at the time I was ushering my class into a safer classroom) I'm glad that you weren't. I hope that your techs were able to lower your gear to protect it, and I'm glad that both the bands and the people were safe.
Greatest ever band 😁❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi there, good day to you and it's nice seeing you here.
Gotta LOVE ALL DEF LEPPERD 😊😊❤❤
Demonic def Leppard! Repent! Jesus saves sinners
Let there be rock in the end with huge Bon Scott ... double gift !
6 of us fly into SD in about 11 days to see this show. Saw Vivian playing with The Last In Line last year in a tiny venue and I was 10 ft from him all night long and he was having a blast. Leppard is probably the band that got me into hair metal. Cant wait.... Journey sint half bad either....lol.... Journey is freaking awesome as well.
Def Leppard sounds fantastic. The sound engineer is amazing .
I remember seeing them on their first two tours ever!
Def Lep are always great. I have been a fan since almost the beginning. They are one of my fav bands. Love the pyromania stuff.
Absolutely love 💖💖💖❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ you Def Leppard 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶. Seen you in Columbus Ohio last year for my Birthday. Love you guys 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
