3d cubes never looked better! This was such a simple and fun quilt block to make!! Enjoy!
I love the traditional aspects of quilting, but I also love that there are many ways to do the same thing in quilting. It means that a technique or block is possible for many people regardless of skill level or preference. For me, I'm at the point where I'm moderately comfortable with Y seams, so in this case I would go the traditional method if it's a decent sized block. If I was going small I'd opt for EPP. Have you seen the little boxes quilt? It is a variation on a cube and I would (and have) made that like your modern example. All methods are good as long as you have fun making them!!
Agreed! Haven't seen the little boxes and now I'm curious 😁
You really did a great job, beautiful
Thanks a lot for your videos, sending regards from COSTA RICA❤
Thank you so much Casilda!
I love 3D blocks 🤩
Agreed 😁
Hey I really want to see a feathered star video! Theres not a lot of them out there.. I want to make it but don’t know where to start ! Awesome work! I also am using Jodi’s barrows technique if u ever herd of her? I love how easy she makes it look. Just a video idea 💡 for the future ❤
Thank you, I'll definitely look into it. If I'm honest, this is as much about me learning new things as it is sharing them with you guys heheheh.
LOVE THIS. THANK YOU! How would it work if the inside square was the same color with the outside portions a different color for each 3D square?
For the 3D effect you need light on top and dark at the bottom. But it could be like a lighter and a darker blue and you can make each square a different color.
