All people deserve compassionate, respectful, educated care. That absolutely includes the trans community. Thank you for making this video. It is important to continue to learn about patient populations.

I couldn't agree more with half of this, that everyone needs care and compassion. At the same time I couldn't disagree more with the inclusion of antiscientific and ideological terms, e.g., "gender assigned at birth". The medical field must purge itself of this queer Marxist culture, and anyone who forwards the mass sterilization of people who need serious care. You bescumber your profession by adopting political language into the medical profession.

The amount of people being unprofessional in the comments, stating that this is all an agenda when in fact, its simply 1 video, speaking about this 1 topic so if you dont like it, you can click off. But no, you speak about "agenda" when in fact, YOU're the ones propagating your opinions, making this about your OWN agenda. This video is simply here to INFORM people in medical fields, I dont care if you agree with the values stated in the video but if you dont, click off and stop spreading negativity. The world of medical care is one that wishes for nothing but to stop disease and make a world a better place so if you don't get that, I hope you don't continue down a path in which you'd bring negativity to others. I will not be replying to any comments, just wishing for everyone to keep an open mind and be more welcoming to others, no matter if you relate to them or not because in the grand scheme of things, NONE of us has been through what others have, so we dont know their struggle. Be kind ❤

Scientifically, this is very extra. Let's keep science concise, definite and on point, please. Politically maneuvered agendas should not be the focus. The mind, if there is something wrong with it means there's something wrong with it. Justifying this scientifically doesn't mean inclusivity, it means science is a pushover.

I can’t believe that the second you see anything that doesn’t align with your view of the world, you label it as non-medical and “political”, in short, you are making mention that you do not care about the lives of other people, and would prefer that everyone fits into your person view of the world, otherwise you would rather not see them/ want them dead. This is not a very medical approach, since in the role of a medical expert it is your responsibility to treat all patients with respect and care, regardless of your personal grievances with reality and life.
This is actually a very important part of medics, since getting the identity of a patient is very important to providing substantial care. This is why it is important to confirm a patient’s name and birthdate multiple times during care.
Your response is the equivalent of saying that we shouldn’t make informational videos about breast cancer, because breasts are a socially awkward topic. Just because you don’t feel comfortable with a topic is no excuse to deny its importance.
Please try to be a better scientist.

    • @esedda6219

@@PloverTechOfficial there is a scientifically appropriate term for this and it is a psychological disorder, to keep being pushed over by curtains and elaborate details of insecurity just to justify it is absurd. Let's not blur out eyes with political agendas and let's stop making science even more difficult to be understood. You want to be inclusive, but what's happening is, the more you accept, the more it will be pushed down your throat. Political agendas should steer away from science. If they are people who feel insecure about what biological reproductive organs that were given to them from the day of their birth then, that is an environmental/societal influence. Let us secure our generation and the next. The more people are confused, the more the society will degenerate. This is political and everybody knows it.

There should be equal treatment regardless of age, gender, and rich or poor patients. Because sickeness and disease dont pick specific genders, they go randomly. So please avoid showing favoritism to this kind of topics.
Medical students are here to learn and be professional medical practitioners in the future.
Please OSMOSIS you have one of the best medical videos. Dont go woke!

Learning about patient populations is a part of medical training. This is an important way to understand the social determinants of health, which can guide care.
This is a fundamental aspect of being a medical professional.
You will assist a diverse community of people. You need basic understanding about those communities.

Thank you so much for covering this topic! Based on these comments, we obviously need more of this kind of training in the medical field. Medicine is not just about science, but also about patient care. Also, scientifically speaking, intersex people do exist and are born that way. Scientifically, feelings are real. You wouldn't tell someone to "just get over" their depression/autism/bipolar disorder. Same principle can apply here. Great job on this video!

this was a such a wonderfully concise way to address appropriate care for all persons -- much appreciate, & I will be sharing with my colleagues in the medical community. I see this as specifically helpful for those who complicate this into their own misunderstandings of what either sex or gender are.
    Great work! Keep it up!

As a Nursing student, as Vietnamese immigrant trying all my life to go to Canada get opportunities for medical care and transition. You can deny Trans needs, you can limit, and eliminate our rights as the way Women, Black people, people of Colonies have used to get but let remember that, with our hard work, we will show you that we are just like anyone, who looking to be ourself, have a partner, pursuing education, working hard. I just had a boy friend 1 year ago after have opportunity for transition last 2 years. I felt so lucky to be here in Canada with support for healthcare system to make my dream come true. My boyfriend, his family, my friends, my family all know how hard I tried to be here. You as a Nurse, you all have good heart and compassion, one day you will meet some of us out there (we just less than 1% of population), and you will see that we are just regular people like you.

Thank you for covering this topic, it is important that trans people receive the same quality health care as cis people do, and I really appreciate that this channel (which I have been following while studying medicine for some time now) is helping to spread awareness. Trans people are people yes they should be treated equally , they should be treated with the same quality of care as any patient , but gender theory is not a scientific concept nor it should be treated as such . Its category its not scientific nor medical nor it relies on any scientific process its a social construct literally made up from cultures just like the names that serves no purpose in its usage in any field .
